Abstract

The stock exchange becomes one of indicator shown the modernity of one country and investment alternative as well. Stock Exchange activity reflected by an Indonesia Composite Index fluctuation which are influenced by macroeconomics variables such as interest rate, exchange value, and inflation. This study aims to determine the effect of, interest rates, exchange rate of rupiah and inflation against the Indonesia Composite Index(ICI. The type of research used explanatory research, with quantitative approach and took all time series data covering Interest Rates, Rupiah Exchange Rate, Inflation and Indonesia Composite Index(ICI) for the period of 1999 until 2023. The data analysis used multiple linear regression analysis using SPSS 23. The results of this study indicate that the value of coefficient of determination(R2) 86,5% which means independent variables affect the dependent variable 86,5% and the rest is 14,5% influenced by other variables outside this study. F test results indicate that the independent variables of interest rate, exchange rate of rupiah, and inlation rate simultaneously have significant effect on the Indonesia Composite Index(ICI). The result of t test shows that the, interest rate variable partially have significant negative effect on Indonesia Composite Index(ICI), inflation variable partially positively influenced the Indonesia Composite Index(ICI), while exchange rate variable partially have significant positive effeft on Indonesia Composite Index (ICI).

Abstract

This article aims to provide an in-depth understanding of the psychological challenges judges face in decision making, as well as their impact on individuals, society and the legal system. The method used is a literature review that analyzes theories, research and related references to evaluate cognitive, emotional and social factors that influence judge behavior. The discussion shows that cognitive bias, emotional stress, and external influences can influence a judge's objectivity, while experience and education play an important role in making fair decisions. Judges' decisions have significant implications, from changing the fate of individuals to strengthening or undermining public trust in the legal system. In conclusion, wise, professional decision making, and based on thorough analysis is necessary to maintain judicial integrity and social stability.

Abstract

This curriculum is one of the learning programs to improve the quality of learning that has been inaugurated by the Minister of Education and Culture which has been established in the world of education. The purpose of this study is (1) to explain the conditions of students if the independent curriculum is implemented in each school (2) To find out whether the principal and teachers are ready to implement the independent curriculum in schools or not (3) To find out the factors that become obstacles. in the implementation of this independent curriculum. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach by taking objects from three schools, namely Ibele State Middle School, Wamena 4 State Middle School, and Isakusa State Middle School. Data collection techniques are carried out through observation, interviews and documentation. The respondents in this study were the principals. The results of the study showed that the new independent curriculum was implemented this year (2024), odd semester in class VII. Where the readiness of the teachers is ready and some are not ready because there are some teachers who did not attend the training. So that the principal for the next few months held a socialization about the independent curriculum to teachers who did not attend the training, even from SMP Negeri 4 Wamena the principal provided Kombel (Learning Community). Likewise in the teaching and learning process that has been known about the condition of students where in their own personalities some do not know how to read and write, so the efforts made by the teacher are to separate students who are still lacking in reading and writing, to be guided and trained and taught how to read and write while the problem is the infrastructure, and one of them is electricity that has not entered the SMP Negeri Ibele area, so from several things this is the obstacle.

Abstract

Corruption remains a significant barrier to sustainable economic development in Indonesia, leading to inefficiencies in resource management and diminishing public trust in state institutions. This study aims to analyse the impact of corruption on economic growth, investment, and societal welfare through a qualitative approach using literature review. The findings indicate that corruption has a significant negative relationship with economic growth, hindering foreign investment inflows and exacerbating economic inequality. High levels of corruption create an environment of uncertainty, deterring potential investors who seek stable and transparent markets. Data reveal that Indonesia's low Corruption Perception Index (CPI), which scored 34 out of 100 in 2023, contributes to stagnant investment and poor public service quality. Moreover, corruption diverts public funds away from essential services such as education and healthcare, further entrenching poverty and inequality. To mitigate the effects of corruption, comprehensive strategies are needed, including enhancing transparency in government spending, strengthening oversight institutions like the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK), and fostering active community participation in governance. Public awareness campaigns and education on the detrimental effects of corruption can empower citizens to demand accountability from their leaders. Additionally, implementing digital solutions for public procurement and financial management can reduce opportunities for corrupt practices. Through collaboration among various stakeholders, including government, civil society, and the private sector, it is hoped that anti-corruption efforts can promote better economic growth and equitable welfare distribution in Indonesia. Ultimately, addressing corruption is not only crucial for improving economic performance but also for ensuring social justice and enhancing the overall quality of life for all citizens.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of leadership in improving public administration performance in universities in Merauke, South Papua, and to formulate effective strategies to overcome the governance challenges faced. Using a qualitative approach and case study method, this study explores the views and experiences of university leaders, administrative staff, and related stakeholders regarding public administration management influenced by leadership. Descriptive analytical research design is used to describe leadership characteristics and analyze their impact on public administration effectiveness. This study was conducted in universities in Merauke that face challenges related to limited resources and infrastructure. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, Focus Group Discussions (FGD), observation, and documentation. Thematic analysis was used to identify key themes related to leadership and administrative performance. The results of the study indicate that leadership in universities in Merauke is still dominated by a bureaucratic style that is less flexible, inhibiting innovation and efficiency. Despite efforts to implement transformational leadership, resistance to change and limited resources are major obstacles. Recommendations for this study include changes in inclusive leadership patterns, development of information technology, and increased collaboration between stakeholders to improve the quality of academic services and operational efficiency in universities. With the implementation of the right policies, universities in Merauke are expected to be ready to face the challenges of globalization of education.

Abstract

Education that responds to the individual needs of students is key to optimizing each learner's unique potential. Differentiated instruction emerges as a solution to accommodate the diversity of students' interests, learning styles, and abilities. This study aims to systematically analyze the implementation of differentiated instruction strategies in mathematics and their impact on student learning outcomes. The method used is a Systematic Literature Review (SLR), focusing on journals published in Indonesia. Selected articles center on differentiated instruction in the context of junior and senior high school students, employing experimental or classroom action research (CAR) methods. Out of 175 articles identified, 20 articles were selected following a screening process based on inclusion and exclusion criteria. The analysis shows that differentiated instruction strategies consistently have a positive impact on students' mathematical problem-solving skills, creative thinking, and learning motivation. This study provides valuable insights for educators to design adaptive and innovative teaching strategies to enhance the quality of mathematics education.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze differentiated learning towards increasing computational thinking skills needed by students in the 21st century. This study uses study literature through analysis of the results of several studies. The study collected data related to learning and computational thinking. The results of this study indicate that differentiated learning contributes significantly to improving computational thinking skills, and can be done in mathematics learning. This approach is a relevant strategy in training computational thinking skills so that students can solve problems effectively, efficiently and optimally.

Abstract

This study aims to review scientific journals in order to collect relevant sources related to the differentiated approach. Differentiated learning is learning that accommodates, serves, and acknowledges the diversity of students in learning according to their readiness, interests, and learning preferences. The method used in writing this article is a literature review. The study began by looking for articles related to the research topic to be conducted. The criteria for scientific articles used as data are scientific articles sourced from national and international journals with updates in the last 10 years. This article reviews 12 articles related to differentiated learning in the context of mathematics education. This article aims to review the application of differentiated learning at the junior high and senior high school levels, with a focus on its impact on student learning outcomes. Based on a literature review of various related studies, this article discusses various differentiation strategies used by teachers, including the use of technology, material modification, and story-based approaches. Differentiated learning allows teachers to accommodate differences in students' abilities, interests, and learning styles, which contributes to improving academic understanding and student achievement. However, the implementation of this strategy is faced with challenges such as limited resources and resistance to policies. Based on this analysis, this article provides in-depth insights into the practice of differentiated learning has great potential to create a more inclusive learning environment and support the achievement of more optimal student learning outcomes in secondary education.

Abstract

Differentiated instruction is a pedagogical approach that tailors teaching methods to the diverse needs, interests, and abilities of students. This study aims to analyze the impact of differentiated instruction on student learning outcomes by reviewing 10 journals published in the last five years. The method used is quantitative analysis, involving the collection of data on student learning outcomes before and after the implementation of differentiated instruction. The analysis results indicate that differentiated instruction consistently improves learning outcomes, with an average increase ranging from 15% to 25%. These findings suggest that tailored teaching strategies can enhance student engagement and academic achievement. This study recommends the implementation of differentiated instruction in teaching practices and emphasizes the need for training for educators to effectively apply this approach.

Abstract

Mathematics learning is often considered difficult by many students, especially due to its abstract nature and the need for deep conceptual understanding. One approach that can be used to address this challenge is differentiated learning. Differentiated learning aims to adjust methods, content, and learning pace according to the needs, interests, and abilities of students. This article reviews various studies that discuss the implementation of differentiated learning in the context of mathematics. The results from this literature review show that differentiated learning can improve mathematical conceptual understanding, problem-solving skills, and student motivation. However, challenges in its implementation include limitations in time, resources, and the need for specialized teacher competence. Nevertheless, differentiated learning offers great potential in improving mathematics learning outcomes when applied effectively.
