Abstract

Most fractures are caused by traffic accidents with an estimated number of fractures in the world between 1 and 2.9 million with different age classifications. Each fracture will always undergo surgery followed by administering analgesics to reduce pain during the surgery. Non-pharmacological management to deal with pain consists of various physical treatment measures including skin stimulus, electrical nerve stimulation of the skin, acupuncture. The purpose of the study was to assess the effect of giving classical music mozart in reducing fracture pain in the Dahlia Room of Arifin Achmad Hospital Pekanbaru. Quasy Experiment Research Design, non randomized control group pretest postest design. The research sample was 30 respondents, with a sampling technique accidental sampling. The study was analyzed univariately and bivariately with the Wilcoxon and Man Whitney test. Testing the reduction in the degree of fracture pain in the control and experimental groups obtained the mean value of the experiment 6.71 post experiment 2.66 control value pre 6.35 and control post 6.48 with a value of ρ value 0.000 means that there is an influence of giving classical music mozart to fracture pain. Hopefully it can be used as a reference in providing mozart classical music distraction techniques to reduce pain in postoperative fracture patients

Abstract

Elderly women are found around 8-10% in the State of Indonesia whose health must get the attention of the community so that happiness and well-being are achieved. A woman at a certain age will experience climacteria where there is a natural change in her body. Changes that occur during menopause consist of short-term effects such as physical changes in skin changes, under-skin fat is reduced so that the skin becomes saggy, skin is flammable to the sun and cause pigmentation and blackening, muscles under the skin of the face relax and fall and become soft, this condition can cause discomfort in everyday life. Knowledge of menopause will help climacteric women to be able to prepare themselves and be able to act and act appropriately in preventing the occurrence of disturbances that occur accompanying menopause. This research is a descriptive study to find out the description of knowledge and attitudes of premenopausal women in dealing with changes during menopause. The population in this study were all pre-elderly women at the Kenali Besar Health Center in Jambi City. The samples taken by accidental sampling technique amounted to 44 people. This research was conducted in 2019 at the Kenali Besar Health Center in Jambi City. Data collection through interviews using a questionnaire. Data were analyzed univariately. The results were obtained from 44 respondents, 17 respondents (39%) had good knowledge, 11 respondents (25%) had enough knowledge and 16 respondents (36%) had poor knowledge. The results of attitudes obtained most of the respondents have a negative attitude that is 22 respondents (55%), positive attitudes as many as 20 respondents (45%). Most respondents have good knowledge and negative attitudes

Abstract

DM management that is more effective and efficient requires prevention and control programs that are on target. There are several risk factors associated with the incidence of DM, one of which is a behavioral factor. The behavior or lifestyle in question is eating habits. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of tempe consumption on blood sugar levels of DM sufferers in the exercise groups of women in the Talang Banjar Village, Jambi.The research method used was a quasi-experimental one group pre and post experience test. The population is group of gymnastics mothers of gymnastics mothers who suffer from diabetes mellitus, amounting to 6 people, using total sampling techniques, and analyzed using T Test.The analysis showed that there was no effect of tempe consumption with blood sugar levels with a p value (p value 0.201).Although the results of the study did not show any influence, it is likely that this was caused by several things such as the small number of samples, and it was not determined whether the N sample was a type 1 or type 2 diabetes sufferer. diabetes mellitus as a controller or helps control blood sugar levels in the body.

Abstract

Abstract Diabetes  in women of reproductive age needs to be observed and watched out for. Risks associated with gestational diabetes include pre-natal morbidity and death as well as an increase in chronic cesarean delivery and hypertension in the mother. This study aims to determine the effect of diabetes mellitus on the psychology of WUS in Jambi City in Putri Ayu Health Center in Jambi City in 2019.Data were analyzed using univariate analysis, bivariate with chi square and multivariate using logistic regression analysis. Fertile Age Women (WUS) with higher education have the opportunity not to stress with OR 0.2. WUS with impaired physical health have the opportunity not to stress with OR 4.2. WUS with problem solving skills have the opportunity to not stress with OR 4.2. WUS with high knowledge have a no stress opportunity with OR 0.2. The level of education, physical health, problem solving skills and the level of knowledge of WUS sufferers of diabetes mellitus significantly influence psychology (stress). This research is expected to be able to provide information on knowledge and be able to detect early on the factors that affect the stress level of sufferers of diabetes mellitus by using a scoring scale that can be utilized by health workers in the service and as a reference for diabetes mellitus patients.

Abstract

Introduction : The problem that often happens to the school kids is related to hygiene and environment, one of them is washing off the hands with soap (CTPS). The prevalence of washing hands behavior is an increase from 47,0% to 49,8%. This research aims to analyze the impact of CTPS health education with video as the media toward the capability of washing the hands on the 3rd-grade students. Method : The pre-experimental design method with one group pretest design approach is used. The sample consists of 27 students who are chosen by the total sampling technique. Result : Before being given the CTPS health education, there are 24 children (88,9%) in the category of incapable to do the steps of CTPS, and there are 3 children (11,1%) in the category of capable to do it. After being given the CTPS health education, 25 children (92,6%) are in the capable category and 2 children (7,4%) are in the incapable category. Based on the result of Wilcoxon Sign Rank Test, it's known that p-value = 0,000 with (ɑ<0,05), it means that there is an impact from the health education of washing hands with soap by video as the media toward the capability of washing the hands on the 3rd student at Elementary School Number 1 Berangbang, Jembrana. Discussion : Based on that result, a CTPS health education by video as the media is recommended to increase the capability of washing the hands to the school kids.

Abstract

Dengue fever is an infectious disease by a virus that is transmitted through the bite of the Aedes aegypti mosquito. Mild infections only cause patches on the body and mild flu symptoms. Dengue hemorrhagic fever is caused by dengue virus. Dengue hemorrhagic fever is not transmitted through human contact with humans. Predisposing factors encompass public knowledge and attitudes towards health, traditions and community trust in matters relating to health, the value system adopted by the community, education level, socio-economic level, and so on. This type of research is analytic descriptive with cross sectional method. The population in this study were patients who visited the health center totaling 25 people and a sample of 25 people taken by total sampling. Data collection tools using a questionnaire. Data analysis was carried out univariately and bivariately. The results of this study indicate that 64.0% of respondents have low knowledge, 52.0% of respondents have negative attitudes, 56.0% of respondents have bad actions, and 56.0% of respondents have low DHF prevention. There is a significant relationship between knowledge (0.013), attitude (0.003), action (0.010) with the prevention of DHF with p value 0.05. It is expected that respondents will maintain environmental hygiene by increasing their knowledge, attitudes and actions in preventing DHF by participating in DHF prevention activities.

Abstract

AbstractCoronary heart disease (CHD) can be treated with Coronary Artery Bypass Graft (CABG). This procedure is expected to reduce the morbidity and mortality rates due to CHD, and able to improve the quality of life. However, the recovery time of patients with post-operative CABG requires time to achieve a better quality of life. This study aims to determine the relationship between the length of postoperative CABG with the quality of life of post-operative CABG patients in Gatot Soebroto Army Hospital. The research method used a descriptive quantitative with a cross-sectional approach with a sample of 31 post-operative CABG patients who were willing to be respondents. Total sampling was used in this study. The instrument used a WHOQOL-BREF questionnaire that was valid and reliable. The results showed that the characteristics of patients with post-operative CABG were mostly 14 people (45.2%) aged 50-59 years old, 25 people (80.6%) were male, 16 people (51, 6%) were high school, and 15 people (48.4%) not working, 15 people (48.4%) have a length of post-operative CABG 4-6 months, and 21 people (67.7%) have a good quality of life. The results of the bivariate analysis with the Chi-square test showed that there was a relationship between the length of postoperative CABG with the quality of life of patients with a p-value = 0.006. The conclusion is encouraging the patients, families, and health workers, especially nurses have to pay attention to the quality of life of patients based on the length of post-operative CABG. Because of the length of post-operative CABG the better the quality of life of patients.

Abstract

AbstractPregnant mothers class to learn about health for pregnant women in the form of face-to-face in groups who want to improve the knowledge, attitudes, and skills of mothers and families regarding assessment, care, childbirth, childbirth care, illness, or situations during pregnancy-childbirth and childbirth, care newborn babies use the Mother and Child Health book (MCH) as the main ingredient. High-risk pregnant women in Puskesmas putri ayu experienced an increase in 2018 (January-December) increased by 146 high-risk pregnant women and in 2019 (January august) there were 152 high-risk pregnant women. The purpose of this study was to study the effect of education on information and communication on the ability of pregnant women to face the challenges of pregnancy, childbirth and childbirth in pregnant mothers working area of the Putri Ayu Public Health Center in 2019. The method of this study used a quasi-study with one group pretest-postet design. The sampling technique in this study was a total sampling of 50 respondents. analysis using the Wilcoxon test. Research results obtained by pregnant women p value of .000, childbirth with a p value of .000 and puerperium p value of .0009 means related to education education about health and safety for pregnant women who associate the problem of childbirth danger in the class of pregnant women at the working area of Putri Ayu Health Center Jambi in 2019. It is expected that midwives' special health centers will improve their communication skills, through health counseling, this can be used as a health workforce program in providing health education.

Abstract

A healthy family is condition that is prosperous in terms of physical, mental, and social which then allows a whole family to be able to socially normal life. A family is said to be healthy if it can overcome existing problems or conflicts and maintain healthy relationships between family members. Families are said to be healthy if they meet the 12 indicators established by the Ministry of Health.Method To find out the description of 12 indicators of healthy families in the Work Area of the Pall X Community Health Center in Jambi City, this type of research is descriptive with a Cross Sectional approach. The population was all family heads in the Pall X Community Health Center in Jambi City, with a sample of 203 family heads. Data analysis was performed using a univariate test.Results: 87.4% did not attend the family planning program, 77.8% stated that at birth there were those in the hospital and those in the midwife's house, 90% who had complete basic immunizations, 60% had given breast milk, 89.7% had performed monitoring the growth of children under five, 100% as patients who do not regularly treat pulmonary TB, 95.5% of patients do not treat their hypertension regularly, 97.9% do not take medication regularly, 85.6 have family members who smoke, 76.2 % of all family members have become JKN members, 100% have access to clean water and use it for daily needs and 98% of other families have and use healthy latrines. Results, it is recommended that the Puskesmas improve information dissemination regarding 12 Indicators of Healthy Families by conducting counseling in the work area. Information can be improved by empowering sub-district health centers, health cadres and village midwives.

Abstract

AbstractBreast cancer sufferers have a tendency to experience a decrease of self esteem that make  patients shall showing symptoms such as blaming themself for what they experienced. One way to increase self esteem in cancer patients is by increasing family participation through family support. The aim of this study is to determine the relationship between family support and self esteem in breast cancer patients. This study was using cross sectional design. The study was taken place at the Surgical Oncology Polyclinic, found samples of 188 respondents which was selected with a purposive sampling technique.The results showed that the majority of respondents were in the category of moderate self-esteem were 98 respondents (52.1%) and the category of moderate family support were 96 respondents (51.1%). The Rank Spearmen test results shows p value 0,000 (p <ɑ), means there is a relationship between self-esteem and family support in breast cancer patients with r value of 0.566 (positive relationship). It is expected that the family will always support the patient in every process of treatment, whether in the form of physical, psychological or financial support that could increase the patient's self esteem
