Abstract

Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat ini merupakan Program Kreativitas Mahasiswa Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat (PKMM) yang didanai kemenristekdikti tahun 2018. Khalayak sasaran dari pengabdian ini adalah siswa-siswi kelas 5 dan 6 SD Negeri 056035 Kecamatan Besitang. Kegiatan pembelajaran berbasis permainan tradisional di kelas telah dilaksanakan pada tanggal 2 juli 2018 hingga 28 juli 2018 yang diikuti oleh 20 peserta siswa/siswi SD. Dari hasil evaluasi diperoleh hasil dan manfaat dari kegiatan pengabdian ini diantaranya adalah membantu pihak SD Negeri 056035 Kecamatan Besitang dalam menumbuhkan minat siswa terhadap pelajaran matematika, membantu siswa untuk tertarik terhadap matematika sehingga dapat menumbuhkan kemampuan matematikanya dan meningkatkan kreatifitas siswa dalam bidang Matematika. Hasil dari pelaksanaan PKM menunjukkan bahwa proses pembelajaran dengan berbasis permainan tradisional berjalan dengan baik dan siswa mampu menggunakan permainan tradisional dalam proses pembelajaran.Kata kunci : Permainan Tradisional, Matematika, Siswa SDThis Community Service is a Community Service Student Creativity Program (PKMM) funded by Kemenristekdikti in 2018. The target audience of this service is the 5th and 6th grade students of 056035 State Elementary School in Besitang District. Traditional game-based learning activities in the classroom have been held on July 2 2018 to July 28 2018 attended by 20 elementary school students. From the results of the evaluation, the results and benefits of this service were obtained, including helping 056035 Public Elementary School in Besitang District to foster students 'interest in mathematics, helping students to be interested in mathematics so that they can develop their mathematical abilities and increase students' creativity in Mathematics. The results of the PKM implementation show that the learning process based on traditional games runs well and students are able to use traditional games in the learning process.Keywords: Traditional Games, Mathematics, Elementary Students

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to explain the effectiveness of subjects supervision implementation by supervision of school in pedagogical competence improvement in SMP Negeri 2 Bandar Lampung. The method in this research used descriptive method with quantitative approach. The sample in this researh consisted of 50 people. Data analysis was using Chi Square and data collection technique was using the questionnaire. The results showed that the subjects supervision implementation by supervision of school in pedagogical competence improvement of teachers in SMP Negeri 2 Bandar Lampung have already effectived. This showed that supervison of school has already done their job well in subjects supervision implementation of pedagogical competence improvement teachers in SMP Negeri 2 Bandar LampungTujuan penelitian ini untuk menjelaskan efektivitas pelaksanaan supervisi mata pelajaran oleh pengawas sekolah dalam perbaikan kompetensi pedagogik guru di SMP Negeri 2 Bandar Lampung. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Sampel dalam penelitian ini 50 orang. Analisis data menggunakan Chi Kuadrat dan teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan angket. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pelaksanaan supervisi mata pelajaran oleh pengawas sekolah dalam perbaikan kompetensi pedagogik guru di SMP Negeri 2 Bandar Lampung sudah efektif. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa pengawas sekolah sudah melaksanakan tugasnya dengan baik dalam pelaksanakan supervisi mata pelajaran dalam perbaikan kompetensi pedagogik.Kata kunci: kompetensi pedagogik, pengawas sekolah, supervisi

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan  mengetahui komponen bauran pemasaran yang terdiri dari produk, harga, promosi, dan distribusi berpengaruh secara secara simultan dan parsial terhadap keputusan pembelian mobil Toyota CV Sentral Motor Banjarmasin dan mengetahui komponen bauran pemasaran dominan yang berpengaruh terhadap keputusan pembelian mobil Toyota pada CV Sentral Motor Banjarmasin.          Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa secara bersama-sama variabel Product (X1), Price (X2), Place (X3), dan Promotion (X4) memberikan pengaruh sebesar 52,5% terhadap Keputusan Pembelian (Y). Secara parsial dari masing-masing variabel independen Product (X1) sebesar 2,196, Price (X2) sebesar 3,197, Promotion (X4) sebesar 2,247 mempunyai pengaruh yang signifikan positif terhadap variabel keputusan pembelian (Y) mobil pada CV Sentral Motor Banjarmasin. Sedangkan untuk Place (X3) sebesar 0,365 mempunyai pengaruh namun nilainya tidak signifikan terhadap variabel keputusan pembelian. Pengaruh yang paling dominan adalah variabel Price (X2) yang dapat dilihat dari besarnya koefisien regresi yakni sebesar 0,459. Tingkat kontribusi pengaruh variabel Price (X2) terhadap variabel keputusan pembelian (Y).

Abstract

Hubungan sosial memiliki peran yang sangat penting bagi remaja. Remaja mulai memperluas pergaulan sosialnya dengan teman teman sebayanya. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui hubungan obesitas dengan hubungan sosial pada remaja di SMK Ma’arif NU 04 Pakis Kabupaten Malang. Desain penelitian mengunakan desain korelasional dengan metode pendekatan cross sectional. Sampel dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 29 remaja dan sampel penelitian menggunakan purposive sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah kuesioner. Metode analisa data yang di gunakan yaitu Spearman Rank dengan menggunakan SPSS. Hasil penelitian membuktikan bahwa obesitas pada remaja, sebagaian besar yaitu 25 (86,2%) remaja yang memiliki obesitas derajat 1 dan hubungan sosial remaja sebagaian besar yaitu 14 (48,3%) remaja memiliki hubungan sosial kurang, sedangkan hasil Spearman Rank didapatkan nilai p value = 0,003 < α (0,05) yang berarti ada "hubungan obesitas dengan hubungan sosial pada remaja di SMK Maarif NU 04 Pakis Kabupaten Malang". Dengan demikian yang perlu dilakukan oleh remaja untuk menurunkan obesitas yaitu perlu mengontrol pola makan dan melakukan aktivitas fisik olahraga sehingga mampu meningkatkan hubungan sosial yang baik pada remaja. Abstract

Abstract. The purpose of this study was to describe student responses to Problem Based Learning (PBL) learning in improving Higher Order Thinking Skills for students of SMP Negeri 4 Binjai. This type of research is descriptive research. The research subjects were 30 students of SMP Negeri 4 Binjai with a composition of 12 men and 18 women. The data analysis technique used a non-test technique, namely the student response questionnaire. Student responses were said to be positive towards PBL learning seen from four aspects namely feeling happy about the learning component, the novelty of the learning component used, students interested in participating in PBL learning activities, and interested in language, written appearance, teacher illustrations and the location of the images contained in the LAS. The results of the study are students giving a positive response to PBL learning shown by students happy with the PBL learning component, the PBL learning component used is new, students are interested in participating in PBL learning activities, and are interested in language, written appearance, teacher illustrations and the location of the images contained on LAS.Keywords: Problem Based Learning, Response, HOTS.

Abstract

Abstract. The purpose of this study was to describe students' difficulties in solving problem solving problems in Algebra and Trigonometry courses. Subjects in this study were students of the Mathematics Education Faculty of Unika Santo Thomas Faculty of Teaching and Education study program in North Sumatra in semester 1 of the 2017-2018 school year, totaling 10 people. The data collection tool used in this study was a test of 5 questions in the form of a description. This type of research is a qualitative descriptive study. Data collection techniques are carried out by tests, observation, interviews and documentation. Data analysis techniques were carried out with the stages of data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawing. The results showed that students had difficulty using the concept of equality and inequality squared, the use of the concepts of trigonometric formulas. Students also have difficulties in using number sequence principles and completing trigonometric equation solving, difficulties in disclosing information from problem solving and calculation errors. The contributing factor is the existence of several concepts and principles of algebra and trigonometry that are used in solving problems that have not been well controlled by students and are less thorough in performing calculations.Keywords: Analysis of Learning Difficulties, Algebra and Trigonometry

Abstract

Abstract. The problem examined in this study is how students respond to realistik mathematics education that uses the context of Toba Batak culture in teaching and learning activities. The aim of the researcher to analyze students' responses to realistik mathematics education using the context of the Toba Batak culture is to find out whether the responses given by students are positive or negative. Student responses are said to be positive if students feel happy about the components of learning used, the learning component used is new, students are interested in carrying out the same learning in later learning and students are interested in the learning components used. The research results obtained are students giving positive responses to realistik mathematics education using the context of Toba Batak culture. In other words, students happy with the components of learning, the learning component used is new, students are interested in carrying out the same learning in later learning and students are interested in the learning components used.Keywords: RME, Responses, Toba Batak Culture

Abstract

Acute renal injury is characterized by decrement of glomerular filtration rate (GFR), resulting in nitrogen metabolic end product retention such as blood ureum. Aminoglycoside nephrotoxic injuries are common in elderly, with mortality rate 50-70%. Tempuyung has been empirically used in relieving renal problems as it contains several active antioxidants. This study aimed to analyze the protective effect of ethanol extract tempuyung leaf (EET) against gentamicin induced renal injury viewed from blood ureum level. The method used was true experimental laboratory, 16 wistar male rats, divided into 4 groups (n=4): negative control group (CMC), positive control group (Gentamicin 80 mg/kgBW), 1st treatment group (EET 100 mg/kgBW + Gentamicin), 2nd treatment group (EET 200 mg/kgBW + Gentamicin) for ten days. On the 11th day, blood serum were taken and the ureum level were analyzed. Data was analyzed by ANOVA and post hoc LSD test. Result showed positive control group had the highest blood ureum level (29.50  1.29 mg/dL) compared to negative control group (14.25  1.26 mg/dL), 1st treatment group (26.50  0.58 mg/dL), and 2nd treatment group (22.25  1.26 mg/dL) with significance difference (p<0,001). In conclusion, the result suggested the protective effect of EET against gentamicin induced renal injury.Keywords: acute renal injury, gentamicin, glomerular filtration rate, tempuyung, ureum

Abstract

The Islamic Boarding School and Orphanage Al-Falah Padang are located on Bypass Km 16, behind the West Sumatra TVRI office. Al-Falah Boarding School has 367 students, 265 of them are foster children in the Orphanage. Inadequate construction and classrooms, the students and foster children of the Islamic Boarding School and the Al-Falah Orphanage studied and lived their daily lives. The occurrence of the Covid-19 pandemic certainly affected the daily activities and learning activities of the orphanage children. Especially, the fulfillment of their basic needs. Moreover, the main problem of Covid-19 is not only about the effects by the virus on sufferers but also about its rapid transmission. Therefore, to help the crisis due to Covid-19, several lecturers and students from the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences Universitas Andalas (Unand) provided staple foods, money, masks, hand sanitizers, and disinfectants for residents of the Al-Falah Padang orphanage. It is hoped that can help the residents of the Al-Falah orphanage who certainly feel the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic.

Abstract

A teacher needs to observe student responses when learning takes place. During the Covid- 19 pandemic, it was to observe student responses when learning takes place online. However, efforts are still being made to determine student responses to online learning. Student responses is needed to determine the cognitive and affective development of student when learning take place. Therefore, a study was conducted on the analysis of student responses to mathematics learning. Mathematics learning applied in this study uses online learning, namely using a learning container, namely Google Classroom. This research ia a qualitative research which aims to analyze students’ responses to mathematics learning based on google classroom. This research involved subjects, namely students of class VII-C SMP Santo Yoseph Medan in the odd semester of the 2020/2021 Academic Year, totaling 32 people. The instrument used to analyze student responses was a questionnaire designed online in the form of a google form. The results of this study explain that student responses are positive towards google classroom-based mathematics learning. This is studied based on indicators of student responses.
