Abstract

Management of incoming and outgoing mail archives is a crucial aspect of organizational administration, including at the Waharia Village Office. Currently, the archiving process is still done manually, posing various challenges such as lengthy search times, risks of document damage or loss, and the need for extensive storage space. To address these issues, this research developed a web-based mail archiving information system. The study findings indicate that the web-based archiving system enhances the efficiency and effectiveness of archive management by enabling quick and easy recording, storage, and retrieval of mail archives. Documents can be accessed from anywhere with an internet connection, equipped with advanced search features to expedite the retrieval process. Furthermore, the use of digital storage reduces the risks of document damage or loss, while controlled access management enhances data security.

Abstract

This study explores the utilization of web technology for the attendance system at Kalisusu Village Office, Nabire, to address the inefficiencies and errors of the manual attendance system. Using the Waterfall method, this study includes needs analysis, system design, implementation, testing, and maintenance. The system was developed using PHP, MySQL, and the Bootstrap framework to create a responsive interface. The results indicate a significant improvement in the efficiency and accuracy of attendance records, with a 75% reduction in data processing time and a 95% increase in recording accuracy compared to the manual system. The main challenge in implementation was user adaptation to the new system, which was overcome through intensive training. This research resulted in a web-based attendance system that not only enhances attendance management at Kalisusu Village Office but also provides a model that can be adapted by other village offices. The broader implications of this research include the potential for improved administrative efficiency and transparency at the village government level.

Abstract

Effective and efficient management of facilities and infrastructure (sarpras) is crucial for supporting educational operations at SMK Negeri 2 Teknologi dan Rekayasa Nabire, Central Papua Province. To enhance sarpras management, this research proposes the implementation of a PHP-RAD (Rapid Application Development) based data management system. The system is designed to simplify the processes of registration, maintenance, and reporting of sarpras by leveraging web-based technology that allows for flexible access. The research methodology includes needs analysis, system design, application development using PHP and MySQL, as well as implementation and evaluation. The system features modules such as sarpras registration, data management, condition reporting, and real-time information search and update capabilities. The expected outcome of this system development is increased efficiency in sarpras management, with more accurate and up-to-date data. The system is anticipated to improve decision-making processes and planning for sarpras development at SMK Negeri 2 Teknologi dan Rekayasa Nabire.

Abstract

The Field Work Practice (PKL) conducted by students of STMIK Pesat Nabire at the Waharia Village Office, Nabire Regency, Central Papua Province, aims to develop and implement a web-based citizen data collection system. This activity is driven by the need for an efficient and integrated data collection system to facilitate administrative processes and public services in Waharia Village. The developed web-based data collection system is designed to record demographic information, residential status, and other essential data of village residents. The development process involves needs analysis, system design, software implementation, and training for village officials. The results of this PKL show that the web-based data collection system can improve the accuracy and speed of data processing, minimize errors in manual recording, and facilitate information access for relevant parties. It is hoped that with this system, work efficiency at the Waharia Village Office will increase, public services will improve, and citizen data will be managed more securely and structurally. This system is also expected to serve as a model for other villages in Nabire Regency in adopting information technology for village administration management.

Abstract

Managing contract employee data is an important aspect in maintaining employee productivity and well-being in an organization or company. This research aims to design a database that can manage contract employee data effectively and efficiently. Using the prototyping method, this research involves several stages, namely problem formulation, data collection, system analysis, and system development. Data is collected through surveys, interviews, and observations, then analyzed to understand the needs of the system. Initial prototypes are developed and evaluated to ensure conformity to user needs. The designed database allows for centralized and structured storage of employee data, facilitates data access and updates, improves data consistency and accuracy, and improves security and ease of data analysis. Testing is carried out by black-box method to ensure system functionality. The test results show that the system can manage contract employee data well, meet user needs, and provide support for better decision-making in human resource management. The study concludes that integrated and well-documented management of contract employee data can improve operational efficiency and support organizational success.

Abstract

This study aims to develop and implement a web-based reporting system with a case study on Class 4A at SD YPPK Santo Petrus Nabire. The system is designed to improve efficiency in the creation and management of academic reports and to facilitate access for teachers, students, and parents. In this research, the system development method uses a waterfall approach that includes requirement analysis, system design, implementation, and testing. The results of this study indicate that the web-based reporting system can provide ease in the academic reporting process and enhance parental involvement in monitoring students' academic progress.

Abstract

The development of a letter archiving system based on Visual Basic at the Bapperida Office of Central Papua Province aims to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of letter archive management. This system addresses various issues found in manual archiving, such as slow processes, difficulty in searching, risks of document damage and loss, and the large space required for storage. With features like automation, advanced search, digital storage, and access control, this system enables faster, more accurate, and safer archiving processes. The use of the prototype method ensures the system meets user needs through continuous iterations. The research results indicate that this system successfully improves the quality of information services, supports good governance principles, and provides significant storage space savings. Overall, this system is expected to better and more efficiently support the execution of organizational tasks and functions.

Abstract

Managing employee payroll is a crucial aspect in agency administration, including at the Kimi Nabire Community Health Center. The manual payroll system that is still used often causes problems such as calculation errors, late payments and lack of transparency. This research aims to design and develop a website-based payroll application to increase efficiency, accuracy and transparency in payroll management. This application was developed using the waterfall method with PHP and MySQL-based technology, and is designed to be accessed by administration and branch heads. The main features provided include managing employee data, automatic salary calculations, creating digital pay slips, and real-time payroll reports. Test results show that this application is able to reduce calculation errors and speed up the pay slip distribution process. With this application, it is hoped that the Kimi Nabire Community Health Center can manage payroll more efficiently and accurately, as well as becoming a reference for other agencies facing similar problems. This research contributes to the development of a website-based payroll management information system, both academically and practically.

Abstract

This Internship (PKL) was conducted at the Office of the Election Supervisory Board (Bawaslu) of Intan Jaya Regency, focusing on the effectiveness of implementing a web-based Quick Count in the Intan Jaya regional elections. This report discusses the challenges and solutions in achieving accurate Quick Count results in Intan Jaya. The research was carried out using observation, interviews, and literature studies, and the obtained data were analyzed descriptively and qualitatively. The results indicate several challenges in implementing Quick Count in Intan Jaya, namely limited telecommunication infrastructure, lack of skilled human resources, difficulties in data verification, and security disturbances. Based on these findings, several solutions were proposed to address these challenges, including building adequate telecommunication infrastructure, enhancing human resource capacity through training and technical guidance, strengthening the data verification system, and improving coordination with security forces. These findings are expected to help improve the effectiveness of Quick Count in the Intan Jaya regional elections.

Abstract

Waropen Regency, located in Papua Province, Indonesia, is an area with abundant natural resource potential, such as fisheries (fish, shrimp, crabs), tropical forests and biodiversity. However, the varied topography, high rainfall and geographical conditions make this region vulnerable to flood disasters. This research aims to analyze and predict flood hazards in Waropen Regency using Geographic Information Systems (GIS) such as ArcGIS. The methods used include secondary data collection (topography, rainfall, land use, and river network), data processing using GIS software, as well as spatial analysis using Digital Elevation Models (DEM) and hydrological modeling. The research results produced a flood hazard zoning map that identifies priority areas based on threat level. This map is also used to analyze the potential impact of flooding on settlements, infrastructure and agricultural land. The findings of this research provide important information for local governments and stakeholders in designing disaster risk mitigation strategies, such as building flood control infrastructure and disaster mitigation-based spatial planning. Thus, this research shows the potential of GIS in supporting effective and data-based disaster risk management in Waropen Regency.
