Abstract

An effective and accurate employee payroll application is crucial to support the operations of the Department of Agriculture, Food, Marine, and Fisheries of Central Papua Province. This study aims to develop a payroll application system using the Laravel framework that can assist in the payroll management process more efficiently and structurally. The methodology used includes needs analysis, system design, implementation, and testing. The results show that this application can improve efficiency and accuracy in employee payroll management in the relevant department. The implementation of this application is also expected to reduce manual errors and enhance transparency in the payroll process.

Abstract

Inventory management is a critical aspect of retail operations, including at Sinar Kudus Nabire Building Materials Store. The current manual system is prone to recording errors, data loss, and slow stock updates, leading to operational inefficiency and risks of overstock or stock shortages. This study aims to develop a web-based inventory management application using the Agile method to improve efficiency and accuracy in stock management. The application is designed with features for real-time stock recording, searching, and updating, as well as a login system for security. The results show that the application accelerates the process of searching and updating stock data, reduces the risk of overstock and stock shortages, and facilitates decision-making related to inventory management. Academically, this research contributes to the literature on the development of web-based inventory management applications, particularly for building material stores. Practically, the application helps improve operational efficiency and stock data accuracy at Sinar Kudus Nabire Building Materials Store. This study is limited to developing a basic inventory management application and does not cover other operational aspects such as finance or marketing.

Abstract

Manual handling of incoming letters in government institutions often results in inefficiencies in recording, tracking, and disposition delivery. This study aims to develop a Java-based application for managing incoming letter dispositions to enhance administrative efficiency at the Office of Population Control and Family Planning (DPPKB) of Nabire Regency. The system was developed using the waterfall method, which includes the stages of analysis, design, implementation, testing, and maintenance. The results show a 30% increase in disposition speed and a 50% decrease in recording errors. Furthermore, the application supports real-time letter tracking and role-based user access. The findings indicate that digitizing the letter disposition system can significantly accelerate administrative processes and reinforce the principles of good governance.

Abstract

This research focuses on the optimization of BPBL data management processes through a custom application. The study identifies the challenges faced in manual data entry and verification, which can lead to inefficiencies and errors. The objective is to develop an application that allows for a one-click verification of application statuses, improving efficiency and accuracy. The findings suggest that such an application could significantly reduce processing time and enhance data integrity.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of online learning on student academic achievement using a mixed methods approach. Data were collected through questionnaires involving 25 students and in-depth interviews with lecturers and students from STMIK Pesat Nabire. Quantitative findings show that aspects such as interaction, learning motivation, assessment, and overall satisfaction were positively rated by most respondents (70%). However, the aspect of technological readiness and accessibility scored only 60%, indicating significant technical barriers. Qualitative findings supported these results, with major concerns related to limited learning platforms and distracting home environments. It is concluded that online learning is moderately effective but requires improvements in digital infrastructure and interactive teaching strategies. This research offers recommendations for higher education institutions to adapt teaching methods to be more responsive to current digital challenges.

Abstract

Manual letter archiving in government institutions often faces various challenges, such as limited storage space, the risk of document loss, and slow information retrieval processes. This study aims to design and implement a web-based letter archiving information system as a solution to improve the efficiency and transparency of document management at the Forestry Office of Central Papua Province. The system development method adopts the Scrum approach, allowing for iterative development and adaptability to changing user needs. The system was built using the PHP programming language and a MySQL database, and includes features such as archiving incoming and outgoing letters, document tracking, quick search functionality, and archive category management. The implementation results show that the developed system significantly enhances the speed and accuracy of letter management, minimizes data entry errors, and strengthens institutional accountability and operational efficiency. This system provides a substantial contribution to the digitalization of public administration services, particularly in managing official documents.

Abstract

The management of incoming and outgoing correspondence in an effective and efficient manner is a crucial aspect in supporting the performance of government organizations, including the Civil Service and Human Resource Development Agency (BKPSDM) of Nabire Regency. As an institution responsible for handling personnel administration, BKPSDM regularly receives and sends a large volume of official letters every month. However, the archiving process is still conducted manually using physical media such as folders, filing cabinets, and record books. This manual system presents several drawbacks, including the risk of data loss, delays in document retrieval, recording errors, and the potential for physical damage to archives due to environmental factors. This study aims to design and develop a digital archiving system for incoming and outgoing letters using the Waterfall software development methodology. The Waterfall method is selected because of its structured approach and suitability for projects with clearly defined requirements. The stages in this method include requirements analysis, system design, implementation, testing, and maintenance. The result of this research is a web-based letter archiving information system that can efficiently record, store, and retrieve correspondence accurately and securely. The implementation of this system is expected to improve the efficiency and accountability of letter archive management at BKPSDM Nabire Regency and support the acceleration of digitalization in government administrative services.

Abstract

The purpose of this research, "Designing a Database System for Senior High Schools/Vocational Schools in Nabire Regency," is to build an information system that will make the process of data processing and management for schools in Nabire Regency easier. In this era of rapid technological advancement, effective and open information systems are becoming increasingly important, especially for educational purposes. It is hoped that the Ministry of National Education (Kemendiknas) will develop an information system with school profile data across Indonesia. This will assist data-driven decision-making for various parties, including the government and the education department. With this system, it is hoped that the administrative process will become more effective and transparent, and policy-making will become easier. In addition, this research emphasizes the importance of ensuring that all stakeholders can access data in order to improve the quality of education in the area. This study shows that the application created not only makes data management easier, but also enhances clarity and integrity in public education services. Therefore, it is hoped that this system will become a useful tool to promote education and assist in better decision-making processes in Nabire Regency. This research significantly contributes to the development of educational information systems in Indonesia, particularly in terms of school data management.

Abstract

STMIK Pesat Nabire is a private university in Papua Tengah that uses a web-based academic information system called eCampuz. User satisfaction evaluation plays a crucial role in improving the quality of academic services at an institution. The purpose of this study is to determine the extent of user satisfaction with eCampuz at STMIK Pesat Nabire, identify the factors influencing such satisfaction, and pinpoint the aspects of eCampuz that need to be improved and developed to enhance user satisfaction. This study employs a mixed-methods approach with an explanatory sequential design. The results indicate that the majority of users are satisfied with five key aspects of eCampuz, 80% for System Quality, 80% for Features and Functions, 87% for Security and Privacy, 80% for Usability, and 80% for User Satisfaction. Several shortcomings and challenges were also identified, such as the absence of automatic notifications when instructors post materials, assignments, and attendance records, the lack of date markers on materials posted by instructors, making it difficult for students to distinguish between new and old materials, errors and slow loading times in attendance records, limited file upload capacity, and the inability to accept certain file formats. Regular evaluations of user satisfaction are needed to further improve the system and ensure that user satisfaction is met.

Abstract

The Department of Women's Empowerment and Child Protection (DP3A) of Nabire Regency is responsible for implementing government tasks related to women's empowerment and child protection. However, the existing complaint handling process is still manual, leading to inefficiencies. This research aims to develop a web-based public complaint system using the Agile method to improve service quality. The development process follows Agile principles, emphasizing iterative development and stakeholder collaboration. The resulting system allows the public to submit complaints online, track their status, and receive timely responses. The implementation of this system is expected to enhance transparency, accountability, and responsiveness in handling public complaints.
