Abstract

This research aims to evaluate the performance of faculty members and administrators in the Computer Science Study Program at Darma Cendika Catholic University using productivity metrics. Data for this study were collected through surveys, interviews, observations, and document analysis. The study identified various performance metrics, including participation in research, teaching quality, administrative efficiency, and adaptation to technology. The collected data are valid and measured across multiple aspects, such as the number of scholarly publications, response rates to document collection, and the accuracy of class schedules. The results of this research are expected to provide insights into the contributions of faculty members and administrators to the effectiveness of the Computer Science Study Program. The implications of the research results involve recommendations for performance improvement, staff empowerment, and administrative process enhancement. This study is anticipated to serve as a guide for other higher education institutions in implementing similar productivity metrics to enhance operational quality and efficiency.

Abstract

Tata kelola di sebuah instansi pendidikan perguruan tinggi begitu penting dilaksanakan karena sebagai panduan praktik yang mewadahi proses komunikasi antar divisi, pemanfaatan aset maupun sumber daya, pengendalian internal, menjamin mutu proses kerja, penilaian kerja, optimasi risiko, pemantauan, dan evaluasi. Penelitian ini terkait tata kelola bertujuan menghitung tingkat kematangan tata kelola manajemen internal divisi terkait dengan melibatkan objek penggunaan sistem informasi SEVIMA siAkad Cloud pada Universitas Primakara dengan melakukan analisis permasalahan dan melakukan evaluasi tata kelola. Penelitian ini menerapkan standar Control Objective for Information and Related Technology (COBIT) 2019 sebagai kerangka kerja dalam melaksanakan tata kelola mencakup pengelolaan teknologi dan pemrosesan yang terjadi, SWOT, dan EFAS IFAS. Penelitian ini menghasilkan nilai tingkat kematangan, hasil analisis SWOT, EFAS IFAS, dan rekomendasi untuk pengoptimalan sistem informasi di Universitas Primakara untuk kedepannya. Abstract

ABSTRACT. Aquaculture technology is growing rapidly to improve the efficiency of fish farming, including catfish feed. The purpose of this study is to create an automatic feeding system using an ESP32 microcontroller and servo motor, and controlled by the Blynk application. This system is expected to provide feed regularly, accurately, and reduce feed waste. It is hoped that this technology will help in better catfish farming, reduce waste, and increase feeding efficiency. The results of the study showed that this system had a 95% success rate in feeding. Although this system is effective, it is necessary to overcome the dependence on a stable internet connection and the durability of the servo motor. Overall, this study shows that the use of Internet of Things (IoT) technology in aquaculture can increase productivity and significantly benefit catfish farmers.

Abstract

An Android-based travel application is designed to make it easier for users to plan their trips. This study focuses on the design of the application using the Waterfall approach, which includes needs analysis, UI/UX design, implementation, and design evaluation. This application offers features such as destination search, ticket booking, and accommodation with an easy-to-use interface. The results of user testing showed that 90% of users found the application navigation easy to understand, 85% were satisfied with the visual design, and 80% stated that the application features met their needs in planning their trips. However, around 15% of users provided input for improving the layout and adding supporting features. This study contributes to the development of a more efficient and user-friendly travel application, while also offering recommendations for further development to improve the overall user experience.

Abstract

Fragile watermarking merupakan salah satu aplikasi steganografi yang dapat menjadi solusi kebutuhan verifikasi citra digital. Metode yang digunakan untuk teknik watermarking ini adalah metode Least Significant Bit (LSB). Metode LSB ini mengganti bit-bit yang tergolong bit LSB pada setiap byte pada suatu piksel citra dengan bit-bit watermark yang akan disisipkan. Untuk memperkuat teknik penyembunyian data, bit-bit watermark tidak digunakan mengganti bit-bit dari piksel awal sampai piksel terakhir secara berurutan, namun dipilih susunan piksel secara acak.. Hal ini dapat dilakukan dengan memanfaatkan algoritma Linear Congruential Generator (LCG) dan Blum Blum Shub (BBS) sebagai pembangkit bilangan acak semu (Pseudo Random Number Generator / PRNG). Bilangan acak yang dihasilkan akan digunakan sebagai posisipiksel sebagai tempat penyisipan watermark. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan membuat aplikasi fragile watermarking dan kemudian membandingkan histogram, nilai Mean Squared Error (MSE) dan Peak Signal to Noise Ratio (PSNR) dari setiap hasil penyisipan watermark (embedding) yang dilakukan. Aplikasi dibuat dengan menggunakan bahasa pemrograman Visual Basic 6.0.

Abstract

Proses perbaikan kualitas citra sering kali meninggalkan kekurangan pada citra hasil. Kekurangan ini berupa kehilangan kontras lokal dan detil pada beberapa bagian citra. Kekurangan-kekurangan ini bisa mengakibatkan beberapa informasi penting pada citra menjadi tidak terbaca. Kekurangan yang timbul akibat proses perbaikan citra dapat diminimalisir dengan mengambil kembali informasi yang ada pada citra asal. Pengambilan informasi ini dapat dilakukan dengan menggabungkan citra asal dengan citra hasil perbaikan. Namun sebelum dilakukan penggabungan citra, terlebih dahulu dilakukan peningkatan nilai rata-rata dan nilai rata-rata simpangan baku dari citra hasil perbaikan agar hasil dari penggabungan citra tersebut dapat maksimal. Dari pengujian terhadap 500 (lima ratus) citra yang terdiri dari citra yang mempunyai kekurangan pada tingkat kecerahan, kekurangan pada tingkat kekontrasan, dan citra yang mempunyai kekurangan pada tingkat kecerahan dan kekontrasan, terdapat 74 (tujuh puluh empat) citra yang tidak dapat diperbaiki secara maksimal dengan menggunakan metode yang diusulkan. Sedangkan untuk citra uji coba lainnya, metode yang diusulkan mampu memperbaiki kekurangan citra. Ini artinya tingkat keberhasilan dari metode yang diusulkan mencapai 85 %.

With changes in the field of interaction it will improve the user experience when operating the application. Augmented reality is the additional reality that is used to blend or combine objects in the virtual world with real-world environment. By using this technology are expected participation of users in interacting with existing applications. various fields such as military, health, education and other fields of applied science which has been implemented as part of augmented reality technology in its environment. Using augmented reality technology is expected to application users will feel the direct interaction process.

Abstract

Flood disasters are a recurring problem in Sragen Regency, primarily caused by the overflow of the Bengawan Solo River during the rainy season with high rainfall intensity and duration exceeding 4 hours. According to data from the Sragen Regency Disaster Management Agency (BPBD), over the past seven years, 46 floods have occurred in 16 villages across 20 sub-districts in Sragen Regency. The impacts of these disasters include infrastructure damage, material losses, and threats to human safety, further aggravated by the limited availability of early warning tools. To mitigate these impacts, an effective monitoring and early warning system is needed. The objective of this research is to develop an Internet of Things (IoT)-based system capable of monitoring water conditions and providing early warnings through Telegram notifications using the Blynk application. This system is designed to provide accurate and timely information regarding water levels and early flood warnings to the community in Sragen Regency. In its development, the system utilizes an HC-SR04 ultrasonic sensor to measure water surface height, an ESP32 microcontroller for data processing, and Blynk IoT and a Telegram bot as remote notification media. Additionally, visual indicators such as LED lights and a buzzer are used to provide local early warning signals regarding potential floods. The innovation offered by this IoT-based flood monitoring system focuses on real-time detection and anticipation of flood threats. This research also developed a system integrating Blynk with Telegram, enabling rapid notification delivery. Test results show that the system is capable of detecting water levels with an accuracy reaching 95%, providing early notifications with an average latency of 1.2 seconds, and maintaining connection stability up to 99%. Through this research, it is hoped to provide a significant contribution to the development of IoT-based disaster mitigation technology. Compared to conventional systems, this innovation offers high accuracy, more affordable costs, and ease of use, which is expected to assist disaster management officials and the community in mitigating flood risks and enhancing disaster preparedness in Sragen Regency.

Abstract

The rapidly growing digital era has made the Metaverse concept a subject that must be developed within the creative industry and social activities. This article aims to examine how Metaverse is used from creative industry and social viewpoints. The method employed is a literature review, collecting information from a range of related sources. The Metaverse allows creators to produce and distribute their work in a safer, more transparent, and decentralized manner without third‑party involvement, unlike earlier models that required many intermediaries. It grants them greater control over their output and fairer royalty distribution. On the social side, Metaverse also creates interactive spaces where people can meet, interact, and collaborate in real time in ways never experienced before. This shapes how we build social relationships, cooperate in project‑based settings, and even attend events together virtually. Therefore, Metaverse can serve as a bridge between the physical and digital worlds that are becoming increasingly close, enabling individuals to merge within immersive virtual experiences.

Abstract

Cybersecurity is becoming an increasingly important matter as technology develops and threats against web-based applications grow. This research aims to examine how well Cloudflare, Docker, and Nginx Proxy Manager work, both alone and together, when used as an extra security measure to improve web application safety against these various threats. The study employed a quantitative approach using a quasi-experimental method with a posttest-only control group design. In this research, the control group consisted of a system without any additional security layers; this served as the starting point for measuring the system's security level. The experimental groups were divided into three types: a system using only Cloudflare, a system using only Docker and Nginx Proxy Manager, and a system using a combination of all three technologies. Testing involved several kinds of attacks, such as DDoS, brute force attacks, XSS, and SQL injections, utilizing tools like Slowhttptest, Burp Suite, XSSer, and SQL Map. The test results were assessed using descriptive analysis for categorical data and statistical methods for numerical data, specifically applying the One Way Anova or Kruskal Wallis tests, along with post-hoc follow-up tests. The findings from the study demonstrate that the system using the combination of Cloudflare, Docker, and Nginx Proxy Manager offered the most effective safety, reducing the number of successful attacks by up to 52% for DDoS, 69% for brute force attacks, 75% for XSS, and 100% for SQL injection. These results show a notable improvement compared to a standard system or systems using these security technologies individually.
