Abstract

One of the important components in determining the right learning strategy is the assessment of student learning achievement. At SMK PGRI 3 Sidoarjo, assessments are not only carried out on academic aspects, but also pay attention to social, spiritual, skills, knowledge, and attendance aspects. However, the assessments carried out still use a system using direct weighting. The ranking system using direct weights has a weakness of subjectivity in the weights based on the assessor's intuition so that the results are less objective. Fuzzy Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) can increase objectivity in conducting rankings because the weights become more proportional. This study aims to implement Fuzzy AHP for assessing student learning achievement at SMK PGRI 3 Sidoarjo. This study contributes to the literature on the application of the Fuzzy AHP approach in student ranking and may serve as a foundation for the advancement of increasingly complex decision support systems in academia. The variables involved in Fuzzy AHP for student ranking are social attitude, spiritual attitude, skills, knowledge, and attendance. The final results of the study indicated that the fuzzy AHP based student ranking system produced a match of 45%, with a mismatch rate of 55% compared to the direct weighting system. This indicates that the Fuzzy AHP method is indeed different from the direct weighting system in terms of objectivity. The difference in results is due to the approach in determining the weight of different criteria.

Abstract

This paper aims to examine the User Experience (UX) on the Lazada e-commerce platform through the UX Honeycomb model. Enhancing the shopping experience, from finding items to completing purchases, is a crucial element for e-commerce platforms. In today's competitive e-commerce landscape, improving UX quality has become a key differentiator directly impacting user retention and satisfaction, especially for Lazada. The UX Honeycomb's seven aspects—useful, usable, desirable, findable, accessible, credible, and valuable—are essential for Lazada to maintain its market position and foster lasting customer relationships. This study gathered information from a survey of 50 participants. The survey revealed that Lazada's interface is considered usable due to its user-friendly design and various digital payment options. For the useful aspect, the product recommendation feature was found to be helpful for locating items that meet specific needs. However, the desirable aspect requires improvement, as Lazada's visual appeal was not considered engaging enough. The findable aspect is well-addressed by an efficient and straightforward search function. While the accessible aspect shows progress with an intuitive design, further support for users with physical or sensory impairments is needed. The credible aspect received positive feedback, with user reviews and comprehensive product descriptions building trust. Finally, the valuable aspect is evident through discount programs, vouchers, and flash sales that offer financial advantages. Therefore, the UX Honeycomb framework offers valuable insights into Lazada's continued efforts to create a seamless and fulfilling user experience.

Abstract

This study introduces a ticket-and-lodging application for Halimun Salak National Park, built with a Design Thinking-driven UI/UX approach. Although the park ranks among Indonesia’s foremost nature attractions, its existing reservation process remains hampered by an unfriendly booking flow and limited access points. The project followed the five Design Thinking phases—empathize, define, ideate, prototype, and test—to observe visitors, pinpoint their needs, and craft a digital remedy that addresses those needs. Interviews and surveys revealed several obstacles, including confusing menus, slow confirmation, and few payment options. These findings guided the creation of wireframes and interactive prototypes. Prospective visitors then used the prototype, and their comments informed refinements to navigation, visual hierarchy, and support tools such as real-time availability and push notifications. User-satisfaction scores and task-completion times were measured before and after the application’s introduction; results showed marked gains in speed and clarity compared with both the conventional website and on-site counters. The new application streamlines ticket and accommodation reservations through an intuitive interface and traveler-oriented features. This solution is expected to spur tourism growth at Halimun Salak National Park while illustrating how digital platforms can advance Indonesia’s wider tourism sector.

Abstract

The main problem in this research is the large selection of gyms in Malang Raya with various different criteria, which makes the process of selecting the right gym difficult for prospective users. This research aims to develop the best gym location recommendation system in Malang Raya using the Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) method. The SAW method is used to evaluate gyms based on the main criteria, namely price, facilities, cleanliness, mentoring system, and distance. Data collected through surveys and observations was then analyzed using SAW to produce a ranking of gyms in the region. The results showed that Momon Gym ranked first with the highest score, while WWGYM ranked last. Tests comparing the actual ranking results with the results from the computer program using the SAW method showed high consistency, indicating that the method is reliable in providing objective recommendations. This research also shows that SAW is effective in analyzing multi-criteria data for more accurate and efficient decision-making in selecting gyms that match users' preferences.

Abstract

The growth of smart tourism, particularly through 360° virtual tour (VT360°) technology, presents an effective promotional strategy in the period following the COVID-19 pandemic. This approach is especially suitable for outdoor tourist destinations that seek to engage with a global audience. This research was specifically conducted to design and put into practice VT360° technology at Belalang Adventure in Batam. The main goals were to increase the availability of information for potential visitors and improve the location's appeal to foreign tourists, who often research destinations online before traveling. This study employed a Research and Development (R&D) method, which included systematic stages of initial observation, capturing high-quality images with Google Street View, editing the photos with Adobe Lightroom, and building the final virtual tour on the Theasys platform. The outcome is a fully interactive virtual tour that highlights key points of interest, including the main entrance, the ticket counter, and various game areas, all of which can be conveniently accessed online from any device. This digital tool has proven to be an effective and low-cost method for tourism promotion. It also shows the considerable potential for small and medium-sized tourism businesses to use immersive technology to reach a wider market. Based on these findings, this study recommends forming collaborations with tour operators, local tour guides, and hotels to broaden the distribution of the virtual tour, making it a central part of a more extensive and combined promotional strategy.

Abstract

Catfish aquaculture in Indonesia faces an efficiency challenge in its fry counting process, which still relies on manual methods. This research aims to develop and evaluate a mobile application based on the Android operating system that implements the YOLOv5 algorithm for the automated, real-time detection and counting of catfish fry. The model was trained using an image dataset from Roboflow and integrated into an application developed with the Flutter framework. The model's performance was quantitatively assessed using Precision, Recall, and F1-Score metrics across three scenarios: normal, clustered (occlusion), and shadowed conditions. The test results show that the best performance was achieved under normal conditions, with an F1-Score of 0.949. Performance decreased when the fry was clustered (F1-Score of 0.874) due to object occlusion, and also under shadowed conditions (F1-Score of 0.786) because of false positive detections. These findings confirm the suitability of YOLOv5 for fry counting applications on mobile devices while also highlighting critical areas for improvement, particularly in handling lighting variations and overlapping objects.

Abstract

The modern digital era has created a complex job market, increasing the need for accurate career assessment tools. The RIASEC (Realistic, Investigative, Artistic, Social, Enterprising, Conventional) test is a widely recognized framework for aligning personal characteristics with suitable work environments. However, conventional software development methods often struggle to accommodate the continuous refinement required by digital transformation and evolving user needs. This study addresses these challenges by developing an online RIASEC test web application using the Agile Scrum methodology. The research aimed to construct a flexible Scrum framework for this specific application and measure its effect on development speed. The process involved three sprints, with features defined as user stories and prioritized using MoSCoW (Must-have, Should-have, Could-have, Won't-have) rules. The results showed that the duration of sprints 1, 2, and 3 is 2 weeks, 3 weeks, and 3 weeks, respectively, with a total completion time of approximately 269 hours, 7 hours ahead of the 276-hour estimate. The study concludes that Agile Scrum is an effective approach for developing scientific web-based instruments, as it provides a structured yet flexible process that accommodates iterative feedback and successfully mitigates project risks.

Abstract

The rapid growth of social media usage has significantly influenced the marketing and development strategies of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs). However, there remains a limited understanding of how various users perceive the role of social media in supporting MSME growth. This study aims to segment user perceptions regarding the impact of social media on MSMEs, utilizing the K-Means Clustering method. The research novelty lies in combining perceptual analysis with an unsupervised machine learning technique to discover hidden patterns in public responses. Data were collected through a questionnaire distributed to MSME actors and users of MSME products across Indonesia. The questionnaire includes statements related to the accessibility, promotional effectiveness, and trust-building capability of social media. The clustering results categorize respondents into several perception groups—ranging from highly positive to neutral or skeptical, providing valuable insights for stakeholders and digital marketing strategists in targeting communication and support for MSMEs. This approach offers a data-driven strategy to optimize MSME empowerment through the appropriate use of digital platforms.
