Abstract

To update the quality of schools, the importance of selecting honorary teacher candidates can be done by the school principal. Organizing the selection process for prospective honorary teachers is the main step for educational institutions to find more competent prospective honorary teachers. The teacher is a key element in the educational structure. However, due to the lack of an approach or system in the assessment process, the recruitment of prospective honorary teachers has not been successful. Therefore, it is considered important to build a decision support system that uses the TOPSIS method. This method makes it possible to choose the best option from the existing ones. By using this technique, the results will show prospective teachers who are more suitable to work in schools according to the standards set by educational institutions. Of the seven candidates who submitted their applications, 3 prospective honorary teachers were selected who met the requirements and matched the needs of educational institutions.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the maturity level of Information Technology (IT) service management in Bondowoso District Court using the Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) version 3 (V3) framework. The use of IT in the state court has become crucial to support daily operations, efficiency, and quality of service to the community. The research method used is a case study, with data collection through interviews, observation, and document analysis. The results showed that Bondowoso District Court has a level of IT service management maturity that still needs to be improved. ITIL V3 is used as a guideline to evaluate IT service management processes in such courts. The results of this research can also be an important contribution in the context of developing IT service management in similar institutions, focusing on the application of the ITIL V3 framework. It is hoped that with corresponding improvements, the court can reach a higher level of IT service management maturity and provide better service to society. Abstract

Malaria is a dangerous and potentially deadly disease in Indonesia. The spread and transmission of malaria occurs very rapidly. The aim of this study was to identify clusters within the state based on the intensity of malaria cases. In this study, K-means was applied to the clustering process using the values ​​of K=2, K=3, and K=5. This means that the Davis-Boldan index value for K=2 is 0.033, the Davis-Boldan index value for K=3 is 0.034, and the Davis-Boldan index value for K=5 is 0.262. The research results show that using K-Means with K=2 yields the best cluster with the lowest Davies-Bouldin index value (0.033). This will help the government plan more effective preventive measures in different provinces of Indonesia in the coming years. Therefore, this study makes an important contribution to malaria control efforts to reduce malaria incidence and public health impact in Indonesia.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengatasi permasalahan pencatatan kehadiran mahasiswa yang seringkali memakan waktu dan rentan terhadap kesalahan manusiawi. Masalah efisiensi dan akurasi dalam pencatatan kehadiran memotivasi penelitian ini dalam mengembangkan aplikasi kehadiran mahasiswa berbasis teknologi computer vision menggunakan OpenCV dan YOLO. Metode yang digunakan dimulai dengan pengumpulan dan mengelola data berupa foto-foto wajah mahasiswa sebagai basis data. Proses pengenalan wajah dilakukan melalui penerapan Simple Face Recognition library dari OpenCV, sementara deteksi wajah secara real-time dilakukan dengan model YOLO. Integrasi kedua model ini dilakukan dalam sebuah server berbasis API menggunakan FastAPI. Selanjutnya, pengembangan aplikasi mobile menggunakan Flutter memungkinkan pengguna untuk mengambil dan mengirimkan gambar wajah mahasiswa ke server API serta menerima respons berupa daftar mahasiswa yang terdeteksi dalam gambar. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menciptakan solusi pencatatan kehadiran mahasiswa yang akurat, cepat, dan efisien melalui teknologi computer vision. Pengujian aplikasi yang dikembangkan menunjukkan hasil yang menjanjikan dengan integrasi yang sukses antara teknologi OpenCV dan YOLO. Keberhasilan integrasi menunjukkan kinerja yang memuaskan, mengindikasikan potensi besar aplikasi ini dalam meningkatkan efisiensi manajemen kehadiran di lingkungan pendidikan.

Abstract

Customer reviews are views and comments given by customers after they experience a product or service. Customer reviews can be a valuable source of information for owners, but there are certain problems related to reviews piling up and not having time to read the meaning of the contents of the reviews, as well as paying attention to what aspects are highlighted by customers. The research was conducted using deep learning, data collection using web scrapping techniques with the Python-based Selenium tool, data obtained for 2065 reviews consisting of 1955 Google review data and 110 TripAdvisor data. The aspects discussed are service quality, food quality, environment and price using the Artificial Neural Network (ANN) algorithm with word weighting using TF-IDF. Implementation of dataset imbalance, random undersampling technique applied. Hyperparameter tuning was done via the GridsearchCV function from the scikit-learn library. The model testing results were evaluated using a confusion matrix, producing an accuracy value of 89%. Next, a negative review ranking process was carried out to identify the negative reviews most frequently given by customers and the aspects that accompany them.

Abstract

PayPal, dompet digital dengan 429 juta pengguna global, tidak termasuk dompet digital yang umum digunakan di Indonesia sehingga perlu analisis sentimen masyarakat Indonesia terhadap layanan PayPal. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui sentimen masyarakat Indonesia terhadap PayPal berdasarkan teori bauran pemasaran 4P dan dapat menjadi referensi untuk peningkatan daya saing di Indonesia. Penelitian ini menggunakan model Decision Tree dengan kriteria gain ratio, information gain, dan gini index serta pengujian K-Fold Cross Validation menggunakan nilai fold=2, 3, 4, dan 5 untuk memproses 20.000 data ulasan Google Play Store. Hasilnya menunjukkan akurasi tertinggi pada pengujian 5-Fold Cross Validation dengan kriteria gain ratio memprediksi sentimen negatif terhadap aspek produk (97,33%), harga (99,68%), dan tempat (96,72%). Hal ini memberi PayPal peluang untuk memperbaiki kualitas ketiga aspek ini. Sementara itu, prediksi sentimen positif terhadap aspek promosi sebesar 62,18%, menandakan bahwa layanan promosi PayPal telah dinilai cukup baik.

Abstract

In the current digital era, TikTok has emerged as a popular application among internet users. One prominent feature is the TikTok Shop, which allows users to shop directly through the platform. However, on October 4, 2023, TikTok Shop was temporarily suspended by the government due to online trade regulation policies. After reopening on December 12, 2023, various responses from the public emerged in reaction to this phenomenon. This research conducted sentiment analysis on TikTok Shop by observing public responses on Twitter using the Multinomial Naïve Bayes classification method with word weighting using the BM25 and TF-IDF methods. The analysis results showed a majority of positive sentiment regarding TikTok Shop, indicating disapproval of the previous closure policy. In testing with a 10% test sample size, BM25 showed slightly better performance than TF-IDF.

Abstract

Air Minum Dalam Kemasan (AMDK) menjadi elemen utama bagi keseimbangan tubuh. Adanya berita tentang bahaya galon yang mengandung BPA menimbulkan kekhawatiran di masyarakat terutama di platform media sosial Twitter sehingga menimbulkan keresahan masyarakat terhadap dampak negatif yang disebabkan dari penggunaan galon BPA. Hal tersebut menciptakan perdebatan antara dua pihak yang terdiri dari masyarakat yang mendukung penggunaan galon BPA dan masyarakat yang mendukung penggunaan galon non-BPA dari produk air minum tertentu. Penelitian ini melakukan analisis sentimen untuk mengelompokkan pendapat masyarakat terkait penggunaan galon menggunakan algoritma Support Vector Machine dan seleksi fitur Chi-Square. Hasil dari penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan seleksi fitur Chi-Square meningkatkan akurasi hingga 0.95 pada kernel Linear dan RBF dengan 239 prediksi yang tepat dan 13 prediksi yang tidak tepat
