Abstract

This study explores the effectiveness of an Islamic psychospiritual approach within mindfulness programs to enhance teachers' emotional intelligence. Through a systematic literature review (SLR) complemented by bibliometric analysis using VOSviewer, this research evaluates 43 selected studies published between 2020 and 2025 that integrate elements such as muraqabah, muhasabah, and tazkiyatun nafs within mindfulness frameworks. Findings indicate that such integration significantly enhances self-awareness, emotion regulation, and empathy, particularly among teachers with high religiosity. Compared to secular-based programs, the Islamic psychospiritual mindfulness approach demonstrated a higher effect size (0.58), better cost-efficiency, and stronger contextual relevance in Muslim communities. The study concludes that this integrated approach provides a spiritually congruent and pedagogically effective model for emotional intelligence development, offering valuable contributions to the fields of educational psychology and Islamic education

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi informasi dan komunikasi telah membawa dampak besar dalam dunia pendidikan, termasuk dalam proses pembelajaran di kelas. Salah satu perangkat teknologi yang banyak digunakan adalah proyektor, yang memungkinkan penyampaian materi secara visual dan interaktif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji efektivitas penggunaan proyektor dalam pembelajaran serta faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhinya. Metode yang digunakan adalah studi literatur dengan mengumpulkan dan menganalisis berbagai hasil penelitian terdahulu yang relevan. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan proyektor dapat meningkatkan keterlibatan siswa, memperjelas pemahaman materi, dan mendukung efisiensi waktu pembelajaran. Namun demikian, efektivitas penggunaan proyektor sangat bergantung pada kompetensi guru, kualitas desain materi, kesiapan sarana prasarana, karakteristik siswa, serta manajemen kelas yang baik. Dengan demikian, proyektor perlu diintegrasikan secara terencana dalam strategi pembelajaran agar mampu memberikan kontribusi optimal dalam peningkatan mutu pendidikan. Penelitian ini memberikan implikasi penting bagi pengembangan metode pembelajaran yang berbasis teknologi dan adaptif terhadap kebutuhan abad ke-21.

Abstract

This study thoroughly investigates how Islamic education, particularly its curriculum, adapted and developed under colonial pressures and interventions. In addition, it identifies the various problems faced. The data in this study were collected from primary sources, such as colonial archival documents, religious manuscripts, and modern writings. Secondary sources, such as books and scholarly journals, supported the data with a qualitative approach with desk studies and historical methods. The data collection process involved searching, verifying, and extracting relevant information from historical texts. Qualitative content analysis identified patterns and themes, and interpretation of historical texts contextualized the results in time and space. The study shows that colonial policies significantly changed the Islamic education curriculum through direct repression and forced modernization. The institution faced many major problems. These included standardization of education, limited institutional autonomy, and attempts to eliminate Islam from the curriculum. Nevertheless, Islamic education showed a remarkable ability to adapt. It created various defense methods, internal reforms, and curriculum innovations that combined modern elements with Islamic traditions. This ensured that Islamic education survived and flourished during the colonial period.

Abstract

ABSTRACT The development of information and communication technology has significantly influenced the education sector, including Islamic educational institutions. In the digital era, Islamic education is challenged to adapt to technological advancements while upholding its core religious and ethical values. This study aims to explore integrative strategies that combine educational management and technology within Islamic institutions. Using a qualitative descriptive approach through literature review, the study examines various scholarly sources related to Islamic educational management, digital transformation, and educational technology. The findings indicate that effective integration of management and technology can enhance administrative efficiency, improve the quality of learning, and expand access to Islamic knowledge. However, the integration process requires strategic planning, adequate digital literacy among educators, and policies aligned with Islamic values. The study concludes that successful digital transformation in Islamic education depends on visionary leadership, institutional readiness, and the development of a tech-aware yet value-based educational culture. Recommendations include developing digital roadmaps for Islamic schools, providing continuous professional development, and promoting further field-based research on technology implementation in Islamic educational settings.
