Abstract

Sexual pleasure related to Intrauterine Device (IUD) can be disturbed during intercourse. The purpose of this study is to determine the relationship between IUD contraception and sexual pleasure in couples of reproductive age (PUS) at Kusuma Pertiwi Clinic. The research design used in this study is an Analytical Correlational study with a cross-sectional approach. The sampling technique used is Simple Random Sampling. The population consisted of 42 people and the sample comprised 38 people. The independent variable is the IUD contraceptive, and the dependent variable is sexual satisfaction. The statistical test used is Spearman-Rho with a significance value of < 0.05. The research results regarding IUD contraception showed that almost all couples of reproductive age (PUS) felt comfortable after having the IUD inserted, totaling 31 people (81.6%) out of 38 people. Research on sexual satisfaction shows that most couples of reproductive age (CRA) after having an IUD inserted reported sexual satisfaction at a very satisfying level, with 26 people (68.4%) out of 38. Based on the analysis of the relationship using Spearman's Rho, the result obtained a p-value of 0.000 < α = 0.05, which means Ho is rejected, with a correlation coefficient of 0.817, indicating a very strong relationship. The conclusion is that there is a relationship between IUD contraception and sexual pleasure in couples of reproductive age, making IUD users very comfortable during sexual activity.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the structural model of corporate farming in improving the welfare of sugarcane farmers in Malang Regency. As an agrarian country, Indonesia has great potential in developing sugarcane as a raw material for the sugar industry; however, domestic production has not yet been able to meet national demand. PG Krebet Baru in Malang Regency has implemented a corporate farming model since 2015 through the nucleus-plasma scheme. The study uses a quantitative approach with Structural Equation Modeling based on Partial Least Squares using WarpPLS software. The research sample consisted of 67 partner sugarcane farmers of PG Krebet Baru, selected using the Slovin formula. Data were collected through observation and in-depth interviews using a Likert scale questionnaire.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the socio-economic factors that influence the empowerment of forest communities in Pacitan Regency, East Java. The study used a quantitative approach with an explanatory survey method of 350 respondents from five sub-districts (Donorojo, Pringkuku, Punung, Bandar, and Nawangan) selected through proportionate stratified random sampling. Data were analyzed using multiple linear regression to test the influence of nine independent variables (education level, income level, area of cultivated land, access to capital, business experience, number of dependents, age, access to information and technology, and social and institutional capital) on the empowerment of forest communities. The results showed that simultaneously all variables had a significant effect on the empowerment of forest communities (F = 78.452; p < 0.05) with an R² value of 0.675, which means 67.5% of the variation in empowerment can be explained by the model. Partially, eight variables had a significant effect: education level, income level, area of cultivated land, access to capital, business experience, number of dependents (negative effect), access to information and technology, and social and institutional capital. Only age was not significantly affected. The variables with the strongest partial correlations were access to information and technology (r=0.624) and social and institutional capital (r=0.618). This study recommends the need for comprehensive empowerment policies that include increased access to education, capital, technology, and strengthening LMDH institutions to sustainably improve the welfare of forest communities.
