Abstract

This research uses a qualitative descriptive method by observing a video entitled Don't Know, Kasi No on the BCA Solutions YouTube Channel and interviews with 20 BCA customers. From this research, it is known that some people, including customers, think that the social media campaign entitled Don't Know, Kasi No carried out by BCA is both understandable and entertaining. The steps are supported by easy-to-digest material presented by legendary advertising stars in Indonesia. However, from research conducted by researchers, it was found that a small number of BCA customers did not understand the message that the talent chosen by the bank wanted to convey. The duration of this video was also mentioned as being long by some customers, even though it was broadcast on YouTube.

Abstract

TikTok merupakan salah satu media sosial yang semakin banyak digunakan oleh Gen Z di Bandung sebagai wujud eksistensi diri. Salah satu fenomena yang diikuti oleh Gen Z di Bandung adalah fenomena 'Joget TikTok'. Dengan mengikuti tren 'Joget TikTok' ini, masyarakat Gen Z di Bandung merasa eksistensinya dianggap oleh lingkungan sekitarnya. Penulisan ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana peran media sosial Tiktok sebagai sarana eksistensi diri di kalangan Generasi Z di kota Bandung Penulisan ini menggunakan paradigma kualitatif dengan metode fenomenologi dan teknik wawancara untuk meneliti fenomena 'Joget TikTok' di kalangan Gen Z di kota Bandung sebagai bentuk eksistensi diri. Dari penulisan ini ditemukan bahwa Gen Z di Bandung mengikuti tren karena tidak ingin dianggap ketinggalan jaman dan dikucilkan oleh lingkungannya, selain itu mengikuti tren juga dapat meningkatkan rasa percaya diri ketika unggahan mereka mendapatkan respon dari masyarakat luas, dan memang benar adanya bahwa fenomena 'Joget Tiktok' merupakan salah satu bentuk dari Gen Z Bandung dalam menunjukkan eksistensi diri. Penulisan ini meggunakan teknik wawancara dengan informan berjumlah 5 orang dari perwakilan pengguna aktif Tiktok di Bandung. Dari hasil wawancara, mereka menggunakan aplikasi Tiktok selama 1 tahun lebih sebagai sarana eksistensi diri.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the political marketing strategy of the millennial generation in South Buton Regency. This research uses a qualitative descriptive method. The informants of this research came from 2 members of the millennial generation Regional House of Representatives in South Buton Regency. The data collection techniques used were observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation studies. Researchers used source triangulation techniques to test the validity of data related to the research problem under study. The results of this study show that the two informants have different approaches to political marketing strategies, which are reflected in the use of Segmentation, Targeting, and Positioning that are tailored to the characteristics of the community and the region. DH highlights himself as an adaptive figure, understands specific needs, and respects local cultural traditions. On the other hand, KS builds an image as someone who is deep in cultural understanding, collaboration-oriented, and able to combine traditional and modern approaches. Both legislative candidates try to position themselves as leaders who can meet the needs of the people in their region and work together to achieve common interests.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the implementation of the sakinah family development in the da'wah perspective at the Kantor Urusan Agama (KUA) Lemahabang District, Cirebon Regency. This research uses constructivism paradigm by using qualitative method and case study approach. Data collection techniques used include: observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation studies. The data analysis technique used in this study is a qualitative descriptive analysis technique. Meanwhile, the validity of the data was checked using the source triangulation technique. The resultsof this study indicate that the implementation of sakinah family development in the Kantor Urusan Agama (KUA) Lemahabang District, Cirebon Regency is carried out according to the vision and mission, goals, subjects and objects, and implements the theory of da'wah based on the al-Quran and hadist.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the film "Spotlight." This research uses a qualitative method with data collection techniques including primary and secondary data. The data analysis technique used in this research is a qualitative descriptive analysis technique. The semiotic method used for this research is Charles Sanders Peirce's Semiotics. The results of this research indicate that the meaning of the message of journalism symbols according to Charles Sanders Peirce's semiotic analysis in the film "Spotlight" is that a journalist must have 1) a high sense of curiosity 2) ethics when digging for a story, 3) the principle of balance, 4) objectivity, 5) a notebook or recorder as a tool to remember acquired information, and 6) the courage to conduct reporting and data research to be used as news.

Abstract

tulisan ini bertujuan menemukan tanda dan memaknainya sesuai dengan kerangka analisis semiotik model Charles Sander Pierce yang memuat strategi dakwah Badiuzzaman Said Nursi beserta faktor pendukung dan penghambat dalam novel Api Tauhid. Jenis pendeketan penelitian dalam tulisan ini adalah kualitatif yang bersifat deskriptif. Penulis menganalisis tanda yang mengindikasikan strategi dakwah Badiuzzaman Said Nursi beserta faktor pendukung dan penghambat yang berada dalam narasi dan dialog. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah membaca dan mengidentifikasi setiap kalimat, hingga kemudian mengklasifikasikannya ke dalam jenis tanda menurut semiotik model Charles Sander Pierce, Novel Api Tauhid menjadi data primer dalam penelitian ini, serta data sekunder yang bersumber dari buku, jurnal atau web yang berhubungan dengan penelitian ini. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah adanya strategi dakwah yang diklarifikasikan menjadi tiga macam, yaitu: Strategi Dakwah Sentimentil, Strategi Dakwah Rasional, dan Strategi Dakwah Indrawi. Selain itu juga penelitian ini menemukan adanya tanda yang menunjukan faktor pendukung dan faktor penghambat dakwah Badiuzzaman Said Nursi. Hasil tersebut terdapat dalam kalimat, narasi maupun dialog yang terdapat dalam novel Api Tauhid.

Abstract

Social media has become an important channel for government institutions to communicate with the public, and the National Narcotics Agency (BNN) is no exception. One social media that is actively used is Instagram. With its large and diverse user base, Instagram offers strategic opportunities for the BNN Public Relations and Protocol Bureau. The purpose of this paper is to analyze the public's reception of BNN's Instagram content and identify effective communication strategies on BNN's Instagram. This paper uses content analysis and reception analysis methods. The results of this analysis are that during 1 month of research from March 2024, there were 66 contents posted. And 19 of them are BNN activities. The content posted by the BNN Instagram account provides clear and complete information but is less interesting and the appearance of the Instagram content page is less organized, so from the results of the research, suggestions are given to make the content display more attractive and tidy up the appearance of the BNN Instagram account page.

Abstract

Abstract : In the context of the @aabelkarimy TikTok account, semiotic analysis can help identify and analyze religious symbols, religious signs, or cultural references used in da'wah videos to strengthen messages and influence audiences. TikTok is a social media platform focused on short video content. In this context, visual communication is very important to convey da'wah messages. Semiotic analysis helps to understand the visual signs used in videos, such as body movements, facial expressions, or visual symbols, to describe and interpret da'wah messages. Da’wah messages often have deeper and more complex meanings, especially when conveyed through social media such as TikTok. Semiotic analysis helps to analyze the signs used in da'wah videos and relate them to the context of culture, religion or related values to understand the meaning of the message to be conveyed. This study aims to describe da'wah messages in the form of aqidah, sharia and moral messages. This research is a qualitative research with a descriptive approach and uses Charles Sanders Pierse's semiotic analysis theory, known as the triadic concept, to find out the representanment, interpretant, and objects in the signs on the video account of the tiktok @aabelkarimi. The results of the study show that there are da'wah messages contained in the @aabelkarimy tiktok account. The da'wah message includes aspects of aqidah, shari'ah, morals. In the aspect of aqidah there are da'wah messages in the form of; faith in God includes the belief that humans are weak creatures created by God, lacking and limited. In the aspect of shari'ah there is a message about the obligation of preaching to the authorities. Whereas in the moral aspect there is a message in the form of a recommendation to have a qanaah attitude in life. Abstract

Dakwah bil lisan (preaching through speech) is a crucial method in conveying Islamic teachings, especially in today’s digital era. The "Close The Door" podcast, hosted by Deddy Corbuzier and featuring Habib Ja'far Al-Hadar, has become one of the most effective platforms for instilling values of moderation and tolerance in younger generations. This research aims to analyze how Habib Ja'far delivers inclusive messages of dakwah through appropriate language, narrative, and rhetoric. The methodology used in this study is a descriptive qualitative approach with discourse analysis. Data were collected from podcast episode transcripts and supported by triangulation with secondary sources such as audience comments on social media. The findings reveal that Habib Ja'far successfully captures the audience's attention with his relaxed and humorous preaching style while conveying messages of moderation relevant to the current social context. His wasathiyyah (moderation) approach to dakwah fosters awareness of the importance of tolerance and acceptance of diversity in society. Thus, this study provides new insights into the effectiveness of dakwah bil lisan through modern media and highlights Habib Ja'far's contribution to strengthening religious moderation among Indonesian youth. These findings are expected to serve as a reference for other preachers in utilizing digital platforms to deliver religious values effectively and engagingly.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui performance Komunikasi Politik aktivis mahasiswa dalam demonstrasi reformasi korupsi di kota Cirebon 2020 dengan menggunakan presfektif Dramaturgi. Peneliti menelaah performance komunikasi Komunikasi Politik aktivis mahasiswa, dan mengkaji perbedaan antara Front Stage dan Back Stage, Performance aktor sangat berperan penting dan menjadi perhatian penulis. Asumsi Teori Dramaturgis Erving Goffman bahwa dalam interaksi keseharian, individu selalu berperilaku tidak sama. penelitian ini menggunakan metode kulitatif dengan pendekatan Studi dramaturgi milik Erving Goffman, dengan Paradigma Interpretivisme. Dramaturgi mampu mengupas karakter sebenarnya dari sang aktor, lewat keseharian dengan orang-orang terdekatnya. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa ada perbedaan performance komunikasi aktivis mahasiswa dalam demonstrasi reformasi korupsi di kota Cirebon antara front stage dan back stage.
