Abstract

The transformation of digital technology has changed the way public relations (PR) operates in various institutions, including the M. Basiuni Imran Islamic boarding school. This research aims to explore the use of social media as a strategic tool in building and strengthening the image of the M. Basiuni Imran Islamic boarding school. Using a descriptive qualitative approach, data was collected through interviews and observing Islamic boarding school social media activities. The research results show that digital public relations plays an important role in creating interesting and relevant content, as well as interacting directly with the public through various platforms such as YouTube, Tik Tok, Instagram and Facebook. In addition, the findings indicate that the use of social media not only makes it easier to disseminate information, but also increases transparency and public trust in Islamic boarding schools. Through social media, the M. Basiuni Imran Islamic boarding school can strengthen relationships with the surrounding community and expand the reach of the programs they offer. Thus, Islamic boarding school public relations that is adaptive to digital technology can contribute significantly to building a positive image and relevance of educational institutions in the modern era.

Abstract

Abstract : This study aims to describe the text analysis used by NU Online media in reporting on radicalism movements, to describe the analysis of text production practices used by NU Online media in reporting on the counter-radicalism narrative movement and to describe the analysis of socio-cultural (macro) practices used by NU Online in reporting. counter-radicalism narrative movement. This study uses a text qualitative research method with the critical discourse analysis approach of Norman Fairclough. The data collection techniques by way of observation, interviews and documentation. Data analysis techniques were carried out using source triangulation. The results of this study indicate that NU Online in countering radicalism narratives uses the principles or values of ahlusnunah wal jamaah. There are three main characteristics of the teachings of ahlussunnah wal jamaah or what we call Aswaja which was always taught by Rasulullah SAW and his companions. NU Online creates educational content, before they access social media they find radical articles, of course we will have a meeting and conduct counter narratives and have authoritative references. Analyzing according to the context and issues in society, we present it with good references, clearly in accordance with Aswaja and Pancasila guidelines. The counter-narrative movement is moment bound and can also use alternative narratives. Namely, narratives that focus on reinforcing positive and unifying ideas.

Abstract

Generation Z is a generation that has grown up with digital technology as an integral part of their lives. The main focus of this study is the impact of stereotypes spread through social media on the social interactions and behaviors of this generation. Using a questionnaire-based survey method, data was collected from 100 Generation Z respondents who are active on social media X. The results showed that social media X has a role to play in the social interaction and behavior of this generation. The results showed that social media X has an important role in Generation Z's communication, selfexpression and social awareness. Respondents recognized the benefits of social media in opening up insights into social issues and diversity, although the stereotypes circulating are not always accurate. In addition, social media is also considered capable of countering negative stereotypes through positive content that supports identity and diversity. However, respondents still see in-person interaction as an important element in building deeper relationships. In conclusion, social media X is not only a tool to enhance Generation Z's social connections and confidence, but also plays a role in reducing the negative impact of stereotypes through wise use

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the planning, organizing, actuating and controlling of Islamic religious educators in alleviating reading and writing the Al-Quran in, Darma District, Kuningan Regency. This study uses a constructivist approach and paradigm by using qualitative research methods. Based on this approach, the next analysis knife that the author uses is a case study technique and is analyzed using triangulation of data sources. The results of this study indicate that (1) the planning (planning) of Islamic religious instructors implementing one of the programs to eradicate reading and writing of the Al-Quran can run according to the expectations of the leadership, including holding a meeting to prepare all the things needed, determine the implementers, and determine all matters. facilities in the implementation of the process of eradicating the reading and writing of the Al-Quran. (2) Organizing the tasks assigned to Islamic religious instructors are tasks that are in accordance with their expertise and the work program provided by Islamic religious instructors is to provide the best facilities in alleviating Al-Quran reading and writing. This is done in order to facilitate the division of tasks and the preparation of work plans for Islamic religious instructors. Of course, various opportunities and obstacles were traversed with full struggle and patience so that da'wah could run well. (3) One of the management movements (actuating) carried out by the leadership is by providing motivation and enthusiasm to their subordinates so that Islamic religious instructors can work well and carry out their respective duties in order to achieve the program to eradicate reading and writing Al-Quran. (4) Controlling is carried out by the leadership, namely by observing all activities and tasks of Islamic religious instructors so that the achievement of the program to eradicate reading and writing Al-Quran can be carried out properly and as expected.

Abstract

This study aims to find out about the deepening of socio-cultural values that exist in the Wannas community of Koya Koso village based on ethno-religion caused by the integration of the Bugis tribe in it. The research seeks to reveal an ethno-religious group which is an ethnic group of people whose members are also united by different religious and ethnic backgrounds. The concept of socio cultural values is an inculcation of a way of life of respect, sincerity, and tolerance for the diversity of cultures that live in the midst of a plural society. The research method used is field research or field research with a qualitative approach with data sources from interviews, observations, and documentation. The results of the study describe the conditions that exist in the Wannas hamlet, Koya Koso village among the indigenous Papuans, migrant communities from the Bugis tribe of South Sulawesi are able to adapt to the surrounding environmental conditions and understand the local culture but their is no significant cultural acculturation, this illustrates that integration socio-cultural values of respect for differences, religious tolerance, and social coherence.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to describe the reasons for women to be drivers of online motorcycle taxi transportation and to find out the characteristics and self-concept of women driving online motorcycle taxis in Kuningan Regency. This study uses a qualitative method with a phenomenological approach. The data collection techniques used were through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation study. The data analysis technique used in this study is a qualitative descriptive analysis technique. Meanwhile, the data validity test was checked using the source triangulation technique. The results of this study indicate that female Grab drivers have a positive self-concept. The positive self-concept itself is characterized by several things, such as being able to solve problems, feel equal to others, receiving praise without shame, realizing that everyone has various feelings, and being able to improve themselves. The results of this study also show that the main reason for informants being a Grab driver is not very responsive when people look down on their work.

Abstract

This research aims to reveal the important role of da'wah in spreading the concept of religious moderation in religious life on social media. The method used in this research is library research with a qualitative approach. So that a strong theoretical foundation is obtained in analyzing how the concept of religious moderation is applied in the context of social media, as well as how da'wah can play an important role in spreading the message of religious moderation on social media. The study results show that da'wah plays a central role in communicating religious moderation in the context of religious life. Analysis of Google search trends with keywords such as “religious moderation,” “Islamic Moderation,” “Islam Wasatiyah,” and “Dakwah” indicates significant interest in issues of moderation and religion on social media. The conclusion of this research shows that the strategy of preaching religious moderation on social media has great potential to address issues of radicalism, intolerance and extremism. This research can have implications for opening the mindset of the religious moderation preaching paradigm on social media as well as becoming a concept that corrects wrong understanding in religious life.

Abstract

In this analysis, the researcher uses the framing model from Pan and Kosiciki which is a modification of the operational dimensions of van Dijk's discourse analysis. The framing analysis model owned by Zhongdang Pan and Gerald M. Kosicki is considered to offer framing analysis with a more comprehensive coverage. This framing model studies at least the framing device divided into four major structures. First, syntactic structure; second, the script structure; third, the thematic structure; fourth, rhetorical structure. Using the framming analysis method, related to the news regarding the investigation into the harun masiku bribery case presented by the online media detik.com, the writer finds the conclusion that detik.com highlights certain aspects in constructing the incident. The aspect that is highlighted is regarding the people who are allegedly involved in the case where the PAW bribery is not traced, namely Harun Masiku. The online media detik.com only features one person, namely Yasonna Laoly as Minister of Law and Human Rights. Whereas in this case it was not only Yasonna who deserved suspicion, but also the Director General of Immigration and also people who were in the PAW bribery circle

Abstract

This study examines the role of Instagram in the marketing communication strategy of Donatello, a local shoe brand in Indonesia, focusing on how it enhances the brand’s image. Using a qualitative approach and content analysis, the research analyzed posts, stories, and follower interactions from Donatello’s official Instagram account between June 1 and June 18, 2024. The analysis concentrated on key brand image elements such as associations, uniqueness, strengths, and favorability. The findings show that Donatello effectively leveraged Instagram to build strong brand associations, highlighting product quality, modern lifestyle, and unique shoe designs. Consistency in posting high-quality content and active engagement with followers has played a significant role in strengthening Donatello’s brand image, enabling the brand to stay relevant in a fast-evolving market. The study emphasizes that Instagram has been a key tool in shaping positive perceptions of quality and contemporary style, while also expanding Donatello’s market reach. This research underscores the importance of social media in reinforcing the brand image of local businesses, particularly in the face of global competition. The insights gained offer valuable guidance for other local brands seeking to enhance their image and competitiveness through effective social media strategies.

Abstract

Abstract : In the digital era and increasingly sophisticated technology to promote ranging from goods, services to a person who can be easily promoted, such as political advertising which is now one of the important tools to attract sympathy to influence public perception of political parties and political candidates. The purpose of political advertising is to build a strong image or image for positive personal branding for the candidate or political party concerned. The communication strategy, especially the candidate Puan Maharani, needs to be studied because the figure of Puan is considered to have a trail of controversy. For this reason, what communication strategies are effective to be the key in achieving this goal. The existence of this research article is to examine and find out the communication strategies that are considered suitable for use in political advertising space to shape and strengthen the image of Puan Maharani and her political party. The research method used is a qualitative approach by observing political advertisements with print advertising media. The data obtained is based on journal literature, literature studies and documentation. The result of this research is the need for a communication strategy with the selection of editorial sentences or visuals in each advertisement made by creating advertising characteristics so that political communication strategies, especially in advertising, provide victory for Puan Maharani and her political party.
