Abstract

The world is currently experiencing a significant cultural shift and is having an impact on advances in technology and information, including social media which is the main tool for spreading hoax information. The aim of this research is to determine Central Kalimantan Diskominfosantik's strategy in dealing with the spread of hoax news on social media. Using qualitative descriptive research methods and David K. Berlo's SMCR communication theory model: source, message, media channels and recipients. Based on research results, communication strategies in dealing with hoax news on social media are quite effective. Look for sources and collect information first from relevant agencies or institutions. Messages written in the news will immediately be asked whether someone has made a statement or not, that's the filter. After receiving verification or validation that the news is fact or a hoax, the news will be released with a hoax label on official news sites and social media channels. Communication strategies to increase public awareness include appeals, media literacy education seminars, outreach to all stakeholders.

Abstract

During the Covid-19 pandemic the Indonesian Red Cross (PMI) announced that blood stocks in the Blood Transparency Unit (UTD) in areas affected by Covid-19 began to experience shortages, including the city of Bandung. This is due to the increasing demand for blood from every hospital that accepts Covid-19 positive patients. The scarcity of blood stocks was caused by the fear of the public that they would donate blood during the Covid-19 pandemic. This study aims to determine the campaign strategy implemented by Public Ralations in increasing the interest of the people of Bandung to donate blood during the Covid-19 pandemic. This study also aims to determine how the management carried out by the Indonesian Red Cross (PMI) of Bandung City in increasing the interest of the people of Bandung City to donate blood during the Covid-19 pandemic. The research method used is descriptive qualitative, using data collection methods through observation, and conducting in-depth interviews, and documentation. Meanwhile, the data analysis technique used three methods according to Miles and Huberman, namely reducing data, presenting data and drawing conclusions. The implication of the results of the strategy research implemented by the public relations of the Indonesian Red Cross (PMI) in Bandung uses a strategy of publicity and a strategy of persuasion by using this strategy, the people of Bandung can find out what the benefits of blood donation are, and the interest in blood donors in Bandung is also increasing. For future researchers, it is hoped that this research will become a source of reference and inspiration to develop and continue similar research on public relations campaign strategies. Abstract

This research aims to find out how the role of public relations in the era of artificial intelligence. The research method is carried out using a qualitative method that focuses on library research. The data collection technique uses library techniques by collecting library materials related to the object of discussion under study. The results of the literature study show that ways are needed to strengthen data analysis and various skills to remain relevant and effective in the era of artificial intelligence. These include utilising technology and data analysis tools to obtain accurate and clear information, understanding how to process data and create reports that are easy to understand, improving the quality of media relations to remain relevant and effective in the AI era, building good relationships with the media and understanding emerging media trends. Strengthening publication strategies and improving the quality of content presented to the media, responding quickly to communication crises in the era of artificial intelligence, being able to utilise technology and data analysis tools to identify potential crises, and being able to create stand-by statements, draft press releases, and hold press conferences to respond effectively to communication crises.

Abstract

This article deals with the history of pre-Islam Arabia. It talks about, politics, economics, cultures and religions. It tries to explore the situation of the civilization which was decline, while the civilization of Arab rise up. Most of Arabia is the victim of natur amaligna. The geological process is responsible for its shape and outline, a huge quadric lateral placed between two continents. At the time, trading, breeding and farming was most populer in society south arabia and north-arabia, but in Hijaz (Mecca) was impossible because the area is wiped out. They believed on paganism, because Judism and Cristianity were not popular

Abstract

This research aims to examine and analyze the behavior of phubbing in adolescents from the perspective of communication psychology. The study uses a qualitative method, focusing its analysis on descriptive data in the form of observed written sentences. The data analysis in this research primarily focuses on library research. The data collection technique used is the literary technique by gathering literature related to the object of study. The data sources for this research include reference books and scientific journal articles. The data are then analyzed using content analysis to identify, classify, and analyze the information found in the literature related to the research topic. The results of this research indicate that phubbing behavior is driven by a fear of missing out (FoMO) on certain information or events, a dependency on smartphones as individuals rely on them for all daily activities. The impact of phubbing is evident among adolescents and within families/parents and children, leading to feelings of being ignored, unclear communication, disturbed psychological relationships, high levels of rejection from children toward parents, and negatively affecting adolescents' mental well-being.

Abstract

Abstract : Pondok Pesantren is a traditional Islamic educational institution in Indonesia which has an important role in religious education and the formation of the character of students. Interpersonal communication between the Kiayi (founder or leader of the pesantren) and the santri is very important in building close relationships and mutual understanding. Kiayi have strong authority and influence in guiding and fostering santri. Through the sowan tradition it becomes a means for direct communication and provides personal religious teachings and spiritual advice. Improving the religious attitude of the santri is the main goal, and interpersonal communication through the sowan tradition is expected to motivate, inspire and assist the santri in their daily religious practices. This study aims to determine the sowan tradition at the Khas Kempek Putri Islamic Boarding School Al Nashir Al Manshur, to find out the verbal and non-verbal communication of clerics in increasing the religiosity of students through the sowan tradition at the Khas Kempek Putri Islamic boarding school, Asrama Al Nashir Al Manshur. The research methodology uses qualitative methods with a descriptive approach. The data source for this research was obtained from interviews with several informants including Kiayi and Santri at the Islamic boarding school Khas Kempek Putri Asrama Al Nashir Al Manshur. Data collection techniques were taken through observation, interviews and documentation. Besides that, the data were analyzed by the steps of data collection, data reduction, data display and drawing conclusions. The results of this study indicate that the kiai's interpersonal communication through the sowan tradition has an important role in increasing the religious attitude of the santri. The kiai's verbal communication can provide proper religious understanding and advice to the santri, while the kiai's nonverbal communication can help the santri understand religious values better. Abstract

This research aims to find out the marketing communication strategy in improving the service of Auto Ritz Baubau and to find out the obstacles of marketing communication strategy in improving the service of Auto Ritz Baubau. The research medote used is qualitative with a descriptive approach that aims to describe the object or variable under study, through an induction process, with empirical observations through observation and in-depth interviews and documentation. Data analysis techniques used in this research include transcripts of interview results, data reduction, analysis, data interpretation and triangulation. The results showed that Auto Ritz Baubau has implemented a marketing communication strategy that focuses on giving a positive impression, friendly approach, and satisfying service. Responses to customer complaints by listening, showing empathy, and responding quickly are good steps to maintain customer satisfaction. However, the obstacle lies in the lack of promotion, especially through social media, which can affect consumers' understanding of the advantages of products and services. Product completeness and weaknesses in public speaking are also aspects that need attention. By overcoming promotional barriers and improving formal communication, Auto Ritz Baubau can strengthen its corporate image and increase customer appeal.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe the form of da'wah activity of bil haal Al-Mutawally Islamic Boarding School, and to find out the goals, targets and supporting and inhibiting factors carried out fromda'wah activities at bil haal Al-Mutawally Islamic Boarding School in Bojong Village, Cilimus District, Kuningan Regency. This study uses a qualitative method. The data collection techniques were carried out through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation studies. The data analysis technique used in this study is a qualitative descriptive analysis technique. Meanwhile, the validity of the data was checked using the source triangulation technique. The results of this study indicate that: 1) Al-Mutawally Islamic Boarding School in carrying out its da'wah uses bil-lisan, bil-qolam and bil-haal da'wah, but what is more dominant isda'wah bil-haal such as providing scholarships, giving zakat and compensation for orphans . 2) The supporting factors of theda'wah activities bil-haal carried out by the Al-Mutawally Islamic Boarding School are the charismatic nature of the Al-Mutawally Islamic Boarding School Leaders, so that the community's response to the existence of the Al-Mutawally Islamic Boarding School is quite good. 3) The goals and objectives of the da'wah activities of the Al-Mutawally Islamic Boarding School are to create a quality, spiritual and intellectual condition of the surrounding community as the formation of civil society and build a community of faith and piety to Allah and His Messenger.

Abstract

Developing technology provides changes in all aspects of human life, including interacting and communicating between individuals. Technological developments cannot be separated from the internet, it is a necessity that is often used by humans today, the internet makes it easy for humans to interact and communicate without the limits of space and time. The internet is also very easy to access by anyone, anytime and anywhere. Now, every human can interact and communicate through computers and telephones which are connected to the internet. It is not surprising that many people establish interpersonal relationships through computers and telephones without meeting face to face. Technological developments can be accessed through the internet, which are capable of creating applications such as online dating or datting apps with the aim of facilitating interaction and communication in finding someone to talk to or establishing a more intimate relationship. In online dating applications, several stages are found, where individuals have the eager to convey self-information to other individuals. This study aims to determine the existence of social penetration theory on interaction and communication in online dating apps. This research found a process or stage that exist in online dating applications when interacting and communicating between individuals happened. This research uses a qualitative approach with a method through literature study by searching books, journals and scientific articles that can be obtained from electronic media such as internet, Google Scholar, Google Books

Abstract

The discussion on the relation of Islamic symbols and the analysis of religious multiculturality in people's lives is a theme that is often highlighted. Even more attention will be paid when a description of this is presented along with the presence of the mass media in carrying out their activities. The media as part of the study is very impressive to study its participation in the analysis of Islamic symbols and forming religious multiculturality in society. The existence of the media to fulfill daily life definitely gives a different direction to the way of thinking that will be carried out by the community itself. The media is still used as an inseparable material with the existence of communication in the world of Islamic symbols. Therefore, communication can be used as the most important basis in fulfilling the discussion of Islamic symbols in people's daily lives. This fact is also balanced with the growth of mass media that is happening at this time in accommodating every dynamic of the growth of the world of da'wah. The media also has many impacts on people's lives, but it must be able to make the existence of communication media as an interest that cannot be separated from the people, because mass media is a very powerful form of communication media used at this time to introduce any information to the public. we have. With a note that the information we convey is useful information for many people. The media that exist today are a very effective choice for disseminating information quickly and precisely considering the rapid era of globalization today. The very influential role of the mass media is one of the causes of the importance of the media as a marker of character and behavior as well as people's experiences. That's why so many people try to use mass media as a means of propaganda for the ideals, ideas, values ​​and norms that the people themselves want to create. It depends on what kind of mass media manager itself can be wise when implementing the role of mass media in real terms. Then viewed from the side of the condition of the Indonesian people, which consists of many tribes and cultures as well as other diversity, the media must be able to manage this diversity into something that is valuable to the nation and is also the strength of the nation itself.
