Abstract

The development of the digital economy has brought significant changes to the economic transaction patterns of society, including Muslims. This transformation is marked by the emergence of various innovations such as e-commerce, financial technology (fintech), digital wallets, and blockchain-based systems. This situation demands a reexamination of muamalah jurisprudence (fiqh) to ensure its relevance and applicability. This article aims to analyze the relevance of muamalah jurisprudence in responding to the dynamics of the digital economy, emphasizing the application of fiqh principles and the maqasid (objectives) of sharia. This research uses a literature review method with a conceptual approach, drawing on classical and contemporary sources. The results indicate that muamalah jurisprudence is flexible and adaptive, capable of accommodating developments in the digital economy as long as it does not conflict with sharia principles. Thus, muamalah jurisprudence continues to play a strategic role as a normative and ethical foundation for building a just and welfare-oriented digital economic system

Abstract

This study examines the impact of budget allocation on regional development performance with a case study in Cirebon Regency. The main problem is related to the effectiveness of the Regional Revenue and Expenditure Budget (APBD) in encouraging development in the era of fiscal decentralization, where budget allocation is often not optimal. The purpose of the research is to describe the pattern of budget allocation for the 2024 APBD, analyze development performance based on economic, social, and infrastructure indicators, and measure the influence of budget allocation on this performance. The method used is a literature study with a descriptive qualitative approach, analyzing APBD, PPAS, and related literature documents. The results of the study show that the Cirebon Regency Budget in 2024 is IDR 3.919 trillion, with revenue dominated by central transfers (76%) and operating expenditure reaching 73%, which limits productive investment. Development performance was hampered by high fiscal dependence and the dominance of routine spending, although capital allocation contributed positively to infrastructure. Factors such as participatory planning and increased PAD are needed to increase effectiveness. This study recommends the transformation of fiscal governance towards inclusive and sustainable development.

Abstract

The Mudharabah Agreement is a form of cooperation agreement between two parties, namely the mudharib (fund manager) and the shahibul mal (capital owner), where the profits are divided based on the previous agreement. Transparency, trust, and active involvement of both parties are the keys to the success of this contract. Mudharabah is often used in the context of Islamic finance to support the principle of risk and reward sharing. In its implementation, the Mudharabah contract reflects the principles of justice and economic sustainability in accordance with Islamic sharia values.

Abstract

Governance require radical change. From a different perspective, Islamic principles such as maqasid sharia (the principles of Islamic law) and al-maslahah (the principles of social responsibility) can be used to combine environmental preservation (hifz al-bi'ah) with modern industrial governance within a circular economy framework. A systematic literature review shows that Islamic legal principles have established the ethical and normative foundations for sustainable industrial practices. This research method uses a descriptive qualitative method with a literature review. The results show that hifz al-bi'ah is a crucial part of al-dharuriyyat al-khamsah and constitutes a comprehensive plan for adopting a circular economy. In the context of the transition to a circular economy, the principles of istikhlaf, tawazun, and mas'uliyyah—namely, stewardship, ecological balance, and accountability—become more evident. From an Islamic economic perspective, this paper proposes a framework that combines traditional Islamic jurisprudence with today's pressing sustainability needs and can be a significant contribution to the ongoing discourse on Islamic economics

Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic that has hit Indonesia since the beginning of 2020 has had a significant impact on national economic stability, especially in terms of controlling inflation and managing the money supply. This study aims to analyze the role of financial institutions, especially Bank Indonesia as a central bank and banking institution, in controlling inflation through money supply policies during the COVID-19 pandemic era. The research method used is a literature review study with empirical data analysis obtained from publications of Bank Indonesia, the Central Statistics Agency, and scientific journals for the period 2020-2024.The findings of the study indicate that Bank Indonesia has implemented a variety of accommodative monetary policy instruments, including the reduction of the BI 7-Day Reverse Repo Rate, the easing of the Minimum Mandatory Current Account, and the policy of purchasing Government Securities to maintain liquidity and stability of the financial system. Although the money supply has increased significantly during the pandemic period, inflation in Indonesia has remained under control within the set target range, even experiencing deflation in some periods. This shows the effectiveness of coordination between monetary and fiscal policies, as well as the active role of banking institutions in maintaining economic stability. The study concludes that financial institutions play a crucial role in controlling inflation through proper money supply management, although external challenges such as global price pressures and economic uncertainty remain to require continued vigilance.
