Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the internal processes and development of public services in the One-Stop Integrated Service Implementation Unit (UP PMPTSP) of Semper Timur and Kalibaru Villages, North Jakarta, during the 2021-2022 period. The evaluation was conducted to identify strengths and weaknesses in service delivery, as well as to develop strategies for improving the quality of public services. The research method used was descriptive qualitative with data collection techniques through interviews, observation, and document analysis. The results showed an increase in efficiency in the service processes in both villages, with several innovations in service procedures. However, the study also identified constraints, such as the lack of trained human resources and limited information technology infrastructure. These findings indicate that despite efforts to improve, significant challenges in public service delivery remain. Based on these findings, several improvement measures are recommended, including enhancing human resource capacity through structured training programs, strengthening information technology infrastructure, and improving coordination between relevant agencies to optimize the service process. The limitations of this study include limited time and resources for data collection and the scope of the study, which only covers two urban villages in North Jakarta, so the results may not be fully representative of other areas. It is hoped that this research can serve as a basis for developing better policies in public service delivery in the future.

Abstract

Activities around Lake Lut Tawar have resulted in a decrease in the lake's Water Quality Index (WQI) over the past three years. The negative impacts of these activities affect the condition and status of Lake Lut Tawar, including a decline in endemic fish populations such as the Depik fish, siltation of the lake, and reduction in the lake area due to activities related to hotels, homestays, floating net cages, and reclamation or landfilling of the lake. This research aims to analyze the Local Government's Supervision Function in Environmental Management concerning businesses or activities around Lake Lut Tawar, Central Aceh Regency, and to identify the obstacles in implementing this function. The research method employed is qualitative, with assessment indicators including the Supervision Preparation Stage, the Supervision Implementation Stage, and the Post-Supervision Stage. According to the supervision theory proposed by Damopolii and Kurniawati, the results indicate that Environmental Compliance Supervision by the Central Aceh Regency Environmental Service is considered poor. This is evident from the preparatory stage through to the post-supervision stage conducted by the Central Aceh District Environmental Service. The data used in this study includes both primary and secondary sources, collected through interviews, observations, and documentation. The study found that the Local Government Supervision Function in the Environmental Sector carried out by the Central Aceh District Environmental Service has not been operating optimally. The obstacles in performing the duties and authority of environmental supervision and monitoring at the Central Aceh District Environmental Service are categorized into internal and external obstacles. The study recommends that the Regional Government of Central Aceh Regency develop a Detailed Spatial Plan (RDTR) for Lake Lut Tawar to serve as a guide for business actors and the community in conducting environmental management.

Abstract

Inheritance is a law that regulates the transfer of assets inherited from people who have died and also the rights of heirs. It should be noted that the process of distributing inheritance assets should be immediately distributed to the heirs, but what is happening in the Semen Village community is the opposite, many of them are delaying the distribution of inheritance assets, which is far from the existing provisions. The research method used is a qualitative method, with this method it is much easier for researchers to produce descriptive data, namely trying to understand and comprehend an event and problem that occurred, where research data is taken from notes, books, journals, interviews and other literature. The delay in distributing inheritance in the Semen Village community is caused by several factors, including: 1) one of the parents of the heir is still alive 2) the tradition of waiting 40 to 100 days after the death of the parent 3) one of the heirs is still outside City 4) there was a dispute regarding the share obtained by each heir. As for the postponement of the distribution of inheritance that has occurred in Semen Village, so far it is not in conflict with the Shari'a, although there are still some families who do not comply with the method of distribution, the majority of the people of Semen Village have complied with the existing provisions due to several reasons for the delays that have occurred in the Village. This cement is a reason that is legalized by the Shari'a.
