Abstract

Background: Toxic epidermal necrolysis (TEN) is a rare especially in children, acute and potentially lifethreatening. The etiology of the higher incidence of TEN in various pediatric age groups than in adults is unclear, the cause is multifactorial. TEN have known triggering events, including infections (commonly viral or mycoplasma) drugs/herbs, malignancy, vaccines, and idiopathic. Case report: We reported a case TEN of a 5 years old boy. There was a history of fever and red rash on the patient's hands 5 days ago and taken paracetamol, amoxicilin, chlorpeniramin maleat(CTM), and vitamin C, then a red patch and blisters appears 12 hours later. Physical examination: composmentis, temperature 38,80C. Dermatological state: erythemathous macules, vesicles, bulla, erosions, excoriations, crusts on the most of body. Hyperemic conjunctiva, on oral mucosa there were erythematous oedem, erosion, excoriation and reddish-blackish crust, and erosion of the genitalia. Epidermolysis was about ± 40%. Laboratory examination :leucocyte 5300/mm3 with lymphocytosis. Serum urea increases, serum bicarbonate decreases. The patient was treated dexamethasone intra venous and decreased dose with prednisone oral, patient improved and healed on day 13. Discussion: The diagnosis of TEN in patients is made based on history and physical examination. We can establish a typical diagnosis of TEN from clinical symptoms and physical examination, but to find the etiology is sometimes difficult and requires a deep history and other investigations. The etiology in this case cannot be established because of drugs or infection. To find out, it is necessary to do further tests such as serology or PCR

Abstract

Tax is the main source of state financing in Indonesia. To facilitate the implementation of the task of collecting state money, the Directorate General of Taxes requires easy, cheap and efficient ways. One of the efficient, easy and cheap ways is also applied in the handling of tax crimes. Research in this paper is legal research that is precritative and applied. The source of the material used is the primary legal material and the secondary legal material, by means of the study of the library/document, techniques a interconnected legal analysis to be drawn conclusions . The purpose of this research is to find out other legal efforts that can be taken by taxpayers to resolve tax criminal violations ,without going through a trial in court.. In this paper, the author will review the case of PT VCI and outline the legal basis that can be used to make administrative settlements for similar cases that have not been decided by the Judiciary. The result of this research has been known, that the submission of cassation legal efforts by the public prosecutor has been granted by the Supreme Court and the Supreme Court has sentenced the Director of PT VCI, Jakarta to 2 years imprisonment and paid a fine of 3 times the state's losses.

Abstract

Effective communication becomes an important part in developing a child’s character and to prevent the violence of parents towards children. This research aims to develop a communication instrument of parents towards children. There are two communication aspects, which are the opened communication aspect and the closed communication aspect. There are two stages in developing this instrument: first, an introductory study stage to determine the prototype instrument and the second, expert validation examination stage and field examination. Based on the expert analysis results, the instrument has passed the construct validity and it is declared as fit for use. The results of the field examination show that from 34 items, 24 are declared as valid, with the validity value of ≥0.3 and they are reliable as the r value= 0.84≥0.7. From the expert analysis and the field examination, it is concluded that the instrument is fit for research use.

Abstract

Plants are constantly exposure to pathogens such as virus, bacteria and fungi. Plant diseases caused by pathogens lead significant crop yield loss globally. Numerous researchers have been studying how to reduce the damage of plant diseases. Plant disease has long been one of the major threats to agriculture security in India because it dramatically reduces the crop yield and compromises its quality. Pests and Diseases results in the destruction of crops or part of the plant resulting in decreased food production leading to food insecurity. Accurate and precise diagnosis of diseases has been a significant challenge. Traditionally, identification of plant diseases has relied on human annotation by visual inspection. Plant diseases affect the growth of their respective species; therefore their early identification is very important. Modern technological approaches such as machine learning and deep learning algorithm have been employed to increase the recognition rate and the accuracy of the results. Various researches have taken place under the field of machine learning for plant disease detection and diagnosis, such traditional machine learning approach being random forest, artificial neural network, support vector machine(SVM), fuzzy logic, K-means method, Convolutional neural networks etc. In this paper a comparative study on machine learning techniques for plant disease detection is performed. In this survey it observed that Convolutional Neural Network gives high accuracy and detects more number of diseases of multiple crops.

Abstract

Playing and children are a unity that is commonly claimed in many places. Playing and children are like a whole for both traditional and modern games. Nowadays, children prefer modern technology-based games which can be played at home without meeting other friends. In fact, interacting with friends can have a positive impact on the socialization process of children. This socialization process will slowly emerge when children play with their friends and hence traditional games are the right choice for this process. At the same time, traditional games that are slowly displaced by technological developments will indirectly be preserved again if we start to play it again. The method used in this paper is literacy study. The purpose of this paper is to train the children's socialization process using traditional game, which is slowly being forgotten as a tool to increase children’s socialization process

Abstract

Stroke is the main cause of disability and death in the world, which can make sufferers experience a decrease in quality of life, such as common problems from stroke are balance disorders, endurance, walking speed, cognitive function and walking ability. This study aims to determine the effect of task-oriented gait. training on changes in balance, endurance, walking speed, cognitive function and the ability to walk in post stroke patients. This research is a quasy experimental research with a pre-test-post-test two group design approach. This study evaluated the balance, endurance, walking speed, cognitive function and walking ability of post-stroke patients. This research was conducted at RSKD South Sulawesi (Stroke Center) Makassar and RSUD Haji Makassar with a total sample of 15 patients aged 40 years and over, diagnosed with post stroke movement function disorders, confirmed medical records that were scheduled to undergo physiotherapy. Samples were taken using purposive sampling method. Balance is measured by the Berg Balance Scale (BBS), endurance is measured by a 6-minute Walk Test (6MWT), walking speed is measured by a 4-meter Timed Walk (Gait Speed Test), and walking ability is measured by Modified Functional Ambulation Categories (mFAC). Measurements were made before the intervention and after the treatment group and the control group. The results of the intervention group study showed that Task-Oriented Gait Training gave significantly better resultsthan the control group.
