Abstract

Every early childhood has different development. This development can be given intervention in several aspects. One aspect of development that can be intervened in the development of early childhood is the aspect of creativity. This study aims to improve the creativity of early childhood by implementing the STEAM approach. This study is a classroom action research with the Kemmis & Mc Taggart design using four steps, namely planning, action, observation and reflection. The subjects of this study were kindergarten students. Data were obtained using observation and test techniques. The data obtained were then analyzed using descriptive statistical techniques. The results of the study indicate that the STEAM approach can improve the creativity of kindergarten students.

Abstract

This study aims to improve student learning outcomes by applying the talking stick method. This study is a classroom action research. The subjects of this study were elementary school students. Data collection techniques used were observation and tests. The data obtained were then analyzed using descriptive statistical techniques. The results of the study indicate that the talking stick method can improve elementary school students' learning outcomes. This can be seen from the increase in the average student learning which experienced an average increase with details of the first cycle 70.35, the second cycle 79.61 and the third cycle 87.03. Furthermore, the percentage of student completion also increased in each cycle with details of the first cycle 69.33%, the second cycle 76.57% and the third cycle 92.67%. Therefore, the talking stick method can be used as an alternative learning method for elementary school students.

Abstract

This study aims to improve students' conceptual understanding ability by applying the problem based learning model. This study is a classroom action research. The subjects of this study were elementary school students. Data were collected using observation and test techniques. The collected data were analyzed using descriptive statistical techniques. The results of the study indicate that the use of the problem based learning model can improve the learning outcomes of Islamic Religious Education on the material of Asmaul Husna examples in grade IV students of SDN 15 Meulaboh, Johan Pahlawan District, West Aceh Regency. Furthermore, there is a comparison of the increase in the average value of the learning outcome test in each cycle, namely in the initial condition the average value was only 80.66% with learning completeness only reaching 74.3%. After being given action in cycle I, the average value of students increased to 85.00% with learning completeness reaching 92.3%. In cycle II the average value increased again. Based on these results, the problem based learning model can be used as an alternative model in an effort to overcome the problem of low students' conceptual understanding ability.

Abstract

This study aims to improve students' critical thinking skill by applying the make a match model. This study is a classroom action research. The subjects of this study were elementary school students. Data were collected using observation and test techniques. The collected data were analyzed using descriptive statistical techniques. The results of the study indicate that the use of the problem based learning model can improve the learning outcomes of Islamic Religious Education on the material of Asmaul Husna examples in grade IV students of SDN 15 Meulaboh, Johan Pahlawan District, West Aceh Regency. Furthermore, there is an increase in each successive learning process from cycle 1 and cycle 2 as seen in the percentage of student learning outcomes. The results of teacher and student observations, the average value of student learning outcomes increased in the percentage of teacher activity observations in cycle 1 by 85% with good qualifications increasing in cycle 2 to 92% with very good qualifications.. Based on these results, the make a match model can be used as an alternative model in an effort to overcome the problem of low students' critical thinking skill.

Abstract

Based on the researcher's observations as an Islamic Religious Education teacher, especially in class X-A, in Islamic Religious Education learning, teachers tend to use the lecture method so that Islamic Religious Education learning is verbalistic which results in students' activities tending to be passive, only taking notes and listening to the teacher's explanation, resulting in low learning outcomes in Islamic Religious Education subjects. This is evident from the results of the tests that have been carried out, many students still get scores below the KKM. One of the objectives of this study is to determine the application of the Market Place Activity learning model in class X-A at SMA Negeri 1 Kaway XVI, West Aceh Regency, in the 2023/2024 Academic Year. This study uses action research as many as three cycles. Each round consists of four stages, namely: design, action and observation, reflection and revision. The target of this study was class X-A students of SMA Negeri 1 Kaway XVI, West Aceh Regency, Aceh Province, totaling 15 students in the 2023/2024 Academic Year. The data obtained were in the form of test results, observation sheets of student learning activities. Based on the results of this study, it can be concluded that the average value of student learning outcomes during the implementation of the teaching and learning process using the Market Place Activity model was obtained in cycle I, namely 54% and in cycle II, namely 65% ​​and in cycle III students obtained a value of 92%, in cycle III the students' classical learning completeness has been achieved.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh pentingnya salat fardu sebagai ibadah pokok umat Islam yang perlu diajarkan sejak dini agar tertanam dalam kehidupan siswa sebagai kebiasaan sekaligus kebutuhan spiritual. Namun, hasil pengamatan awal di kelas III SD Negeri Sawang Rambot Kecamatan Pante Ceureumen Kabupaten Aceh Barat menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar siswa masih mengalami kesulitan dalam melaksanakan salat dengan benar, baik dari segi hafalan bacaan, ketepatan gerakan, maupun kekhusyukan dalam beribadah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kualitas pelaksanaan salat fardu siswa melalui penerapan metode demonstrasi yang dipadukan dengan media visual interaktif serta pembiasaan salat berjemaah. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yang dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus, dengan subjek siswa kelas III. Data diperoleh melalui observasi, wawancara, angket, dan dokumentasi, kemudian dianalisis secara deskriptif kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan signifikan dalam keterampilan gerakan, kelancaran bacaan, serta kesadaran siswa melaksanakan salat. Pada siklus I, sebagian siswa mulai memahami urutan gerakan namun masih kesulitan dalam hafalan. Perbaikan di siklus II melalui latihan berkelompok, penggunaan kartu bacaan, dan keterlibatan orang tua berhasil meningkatkan capaian siswa hingga melampaui indikator keberhasilan. Penelitian ini membuktikan bahwa penggunaan metode pembelajaran yang variatif dan sesuai dengan karakteristik anak sekolah dasar sangat efektif dalam meningkatkan kualitas salat fardu siswa.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kecerdasan emosional siswa dalam pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI) aspek akhlak melalui penerapan metode kisah di kelas V SD Negeri 5 Pasie Raya. Latar belakang penelitian ini adalah rendahnya kemampuan siswa dalam mengelola emosi, memahami perasaan orang lain, serta menunjukkan perilaku akhlak terpuji dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Subjek penelitian adalah 14 siswa kelas V yang terdiri atas 8 laki-laki dan 6 perempuan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) model Kemmis dan McTaggart yang dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus. Setiap siklus meliputi tahap perencanaan, tindakan, observasi, dan refleksi. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah angket kecerdasan emosional dan lembar observasi aktivitas siswa. Data dianalisis secara deskriptif kualitatif dan kuantitatif dengan membandingkan capaian pra siklus, siklus I, dan siklus II. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa metode kisah efektif meningkatkan kecerdasan emosional siswa. Pada pra siklus, hanya 43% siswa yang mencapai kategori baik. Setelah tindakan siklus I, persentase meningkat menjadi 64%, dan pada siklus II mencapai 86%. Observasi aktivitas siswa juga menunjukkan peningkatan dari kategori cukup menjadi sangat baik. Dengan demikian, metode kisah terbukti mampu menciptakan pembelajaran yang lebih menyenangkan, inspiratif, serta membentuk kecerdasan emosional dan akhlak terpuji siswa di sekolah dasar

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada materi Iman kepada Hari Akhir melalui penerapan model pembelajaran sharing yang dikombinasikan dengan media audio-visual. Penelitian dilakukan dalam dua siklus dengan observasi dan refleksi pada setiap siklusnya. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pada siklus I, penggunaan metode Picture and Picture/Videos, tanya-jawab (brainstorming), dan diskusi masih kurang efisien, meskipun terdapat peningkatan partisipasi siswa. Pada siklus II, penerapan model sharing dengan media audio-visual terbukti efektif, ditandai dengan peningkatan aktivitas belajar siswa, partisipasi dalam diskusi, serta pencapaian ketuntasan klasikal hingga 100%. Pembelajaran ini tidak hanya meningkatkan penguasaan materi secara kognitif, tetapi juga memberikan pengalaman belajar yang lebih bermakna, mendukung pengembangan kemampuan mental, serta menumbuhkan suasana belajar yang menyentuh emosi dan kebersamaan. Hasil ini menunjukkan bahwa integrasi metode kolaboratif dengan media audio-visual dapat menjadi strategi efektif dalam meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam di kelas menengah

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan aktivitas dan kemampuan siswa dalam melaksanakan sholat wajib melalui penerapan strategi Modelling The Way pada kelas III SD Negeri Montasik. Latar penelitian dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya keterampilan praktik sholat pada siswa yang tercermin dari rata-rata awal 60,22 dengan 17 siswa (74%) belum tuntas. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) kolaboratif yang dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus, masing-masing meliputi perencanaan, tindakan, observasi, dan refleksi. Subjek penelitian melibatkan 23 siswa kelas III (10 laki-laki dan 13 perempuan). Instrumen yang dipakai adalah lembar observasi aktivitas belajar, lembar penilaian praktik sholat, dan tes praktik; analisis data dilakukan secara deskriptif kuantitatif dan kualitatif dengan kriteria keberhasilan minimal 85% siswa tuntas (KKM ≥ 65). Hasil menunjukkan peningkatan yang signifikan: setelah siklus I rata-rata nilai meningkat menjadi 71,52 dengan 4 siswa (≈17,35%) belum tuntas, dan pada siklus II rata-rata naik menjadi 81,95 dengan seluruh siswa (100%) tuntas. Aktivitas belajar yang semula dalam kategori baik meningkat menjadi amat baik pada siklus akhir. Kesimpulannya, strategi Modelling The Way efektif meningkatkan keaktifan dan kemampuan praktik sholat wajib siswa di SDN Montasik.
