Abstract

The occurrence of fraud, injustice, and dishonesty in the validation of election data by the Election Team and Committees from villages to the capital city. This happens everywhere, caused by the competition for popularity and tight competition among the different camp teams. Therefore, researchers intend to investigate the occurrence of election fraud in 2019. This research aims to identify the problems of election fraud and valid election data, especially in the Special Region of Yogyakarta in the Wirokerten area, Banguntapan Bantul. The setting of this research is in the Wirokerten area of Banguntapan Bantul Yogyakarta. The subjects of this research consist of village heads, election committee teams, potential voters, former voters in 2019, and local communities. The selection of research subjects is carried out with honesty and data validity. It means researchers have directly asked and met directly with informants or research subjects. Research subjects are selected based on gender perspective and informant character. This research is qualitative, a type of case study research, namely the case of the 2019 election and the upcoming 2024 election. Data is collected through direct interviews and direct observation at the location. "including researchers and local residents located in Mutihan, Wirokerten Banguntapan, Bantul Yogyakarta". Data analysis is carried out with reference to previous theories as proposed by Miles and Huberman (reduction, display, and verification). The research results indicate the existence of fraud and lack of clarity in the calculation of the 2019 election due to a lack of information and communication from the election team to the village level, such as village heads and subdistrict heads. Lack of supervision and not using IT/applications related to election vote counting. Based on the information data, there are 4-5 ballot boxes that have not been delivered; there is the incapacity of the election team or permission due to illness during the election event. 80% of problems exist in DIY indicating electoral disputes. Therefore, researchers respond well to alternatives provided by researchers as a valid, credible, and transparent prototype election strategy for 2024

Abstract

The medieval period in Islamic intellectual history represents a pivotal phase in the development of Qur'anic exegesis. Mufassirs, influenced by diverse scholarly backgrounds and ideological stances, introduced interpretations that reflected the intellectual and socio-cultural dynamics of their time. This study examines the various interpretive styles of the period, including linguistic, jurisprudential, philosophical, theological, mystical, and scientific approaches. These interpretations reveal that tafsir was not merely a theological discipline but also a response to political, social, and cultural realities. Key characteristics of this era’s tafsir include the imposition of personal ideas, ideological biases, repetition, and partiality, which challenge more holistic and comprehensive exegetical methods. Through this analysis, readers are invited to reconsider the role of mufassirs and their contributions to contemporary tafsir development

Abstract

This paper examines the development of Qur'anic exegesis in Indonesia within the context of Islamic reform movements originating from the Middle East, particularly during the early 20th century reformist-modernist era. Through historical-philosophical analysis, this research traces the intellectual networks between Indonesia and Islamic scholarly centers in the Middle East, especially Haramayn and Egypt. The main focus is on the transmission of Muhammad Abduh's thought and its influence on Qur'anic interpretation in Indonesia. This study reveals the dynamics of acceptance of reform ideas among Indonesian Muslims, as well as the contributions of local reformist-modernist figures in developing a more contextual and rational methodology of tafsir. The analysis also includes the evolution of tafsir thought from the classical era to modernity, considering the socio-historical factors that influenced this development. The research findings show significant transformations in the approach to Qur'anic interpretation in Indonesia, reflecting a synthesis between the classical Islamic intellectual tradition and the demands of modernity. This research contributes to a more comprehensive understanding of the dynamics of Islamic thought in Indonesia and its position in the global Islamic intellectual landscape.

Abstract

This study aims to understand the meaning of the word launun in the Quran, which is mentioned nine times, using Isaac Newton’s theory of the visible spectrum. This research employs a qualitative method with a literature study approach, meaning it does not take direct samples but is based on existing writings and general views. The main question of this research is to understand the spectrum of light in the Quran and its semantics. The study concludes that the color spectrum in the Quran consists of six color ranges: Red, White, Yellow, Green, Blue, and Black. Based on semantic studies, this indicates that colors in the Quran reflect a clear boundary between each other. This aligns with Isaac Newton’s theory of the visible spectrum, which states that there is a boundary between each color until they are mixed. Further research is needed to explain the color spectrum in more detail and semantic studies to explore the meanings within the verses of the Quran

Abstract

Many service programs in organizational settings implement aftercare programs, but few talk about social rehabilitation aftercare programs for drug addicts. The purpose of this study was to provide care for ex-drug users who were not yet ready to return to their families or the home environment in which the ex-drug user was familiar and took drugs for the first time. It is well known that aftercare programs for ex-drug users are still very broad and that utilization of drug social rehabilitation clinics is uncommon. The Social Rehabilitation Center for Victims of Substance Abuse (BRSKP NAPZA INSYAF MEDAN) was the location of the study. North Sumatra Province, Indonesia. Using a qualitative descriptive research approach, informants consisted of 6 individuals who used comprehensive interviewing methods for gathering data techniques. The results Aftercare programme, which was initially formed by accident, has positive results in preventing relapse and is able to produce counsellors who can work to help others in the social rehabilitation process. Until now, the aftercare programme has not been required to be part of the social rehabilitation programme at Insyaf Medan Social Rehabilitation Centre. The author hopes that this programme can be continued and become a mandatory programme for all drug social rehabilitation institutions in Indonesia, whether government-owned, private or non-governmental organisations.

Abstract

Tafsir bil Ma'tsur is a method of interpreting the Qur'an that relies on authoritative sources such as the interpretations of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), his companions, and the tabi'in (the generation following the companions). This type of exegesis developed during the time of the Prophet and continued to be used by subsequent generations, with interpretations derived directly from the Prophet’s explanations or through the companions' narrations. Initially, this interpretation was transmitted orally before being codified into a distinct discipline. Throughout its history, Tafsir bil Ma'tsur underwent two phases: oral transmission and written codification, which expanded its scope. This method of interpretation is highly regarded for utilizing primary, reliable sources, though it has sparked debate among scholars regarding the status of the tabi'in’s statements in exegesis. Some scholars argue that the statements of the tabi'in fall under Tafsir bil Ma'tsur, while others classify them as Tafsir bil Ra'yi (interpretation based on reasoning). Nevertheless, Tafsir bil Ma'tsur is considered obligatory to follow as long as its transmission is free from errors and it is widely accepted by scholars

Abstract

Tafsir hukmi is a method of Qur'anic interpretation that focuses on legal verses (ayat al-ahkam) related to Islamic law. The background of this study highlights the need for a deeper understanding of tafsir hukmi, particularly in its historical development, relevance, and application to Islamic jurisprudence. This method emerged alongside the growing necessity for Muslims to comprehend the legal aspects of the Qur'an, both textually and contextually, especially during the formation of the various schools of Islamic law. The objective of this article is to explore the definition of tafsir hukmi, review its historical evolution, and analyze the different scholarly views regarding literal and contextual approaches in this interpretation. The study employs a descriptive-analytical method through a literature review. Data were gathered from academic sources such as books, journals, and tafsir works related to tafsir hukmi. The analysis focuses on how tafsir hukmi was applied by scholars from the Prophet’s time through the development of legal schools, and the challenges it faces in addressing contemporary legal issues. The findings indicate that while tafsir hukmi provides clear legal guidance, it is also criticized for its limitations in addressing the broader spiritual and moral dimensions of the Qur'an’s message.
