Communication between leadership groups is very important if within the scope of work, good communication between leaders and housekeeping employees will have a positive impact on the morale of housekeeping employees, in this study. The purpose of this study is to determine the communication between leadership and housekeeping and to find out the extent of communication that has been established for the advancement of the hotel which is the object of this study. Data collection methods or techniques using population and samples, data collection techniques namely questionnaires, observation, documentation, and literature study. Sources of data used are primary data sources and secondary data sources. The data were obtained through distributing questionnaires to respondents, then the respondents' answers were processed using SPSS 16 with correlation analysis. This study was conducted to find out how the development of human resources in the field of hospitality in the city of Siantar Simalungun district, North Sumatra Province. The method used in this study is a qualitative method with descriptive research type which explains the actual conditions that occur in the field with data collection techniques through observation, interview and documentation. Based on the results of the research can be known that the development of human resources in the field of hospitality has not been maximized and there is no competence certification for employees who work in existing hotels in Balige City, so expect the role of government and employers to care about it so that operational quality in service to Guests can do better.

Language skills, especially in the field of tourism, must have good language skills and mastery. n order to improve services in the hotel industry, foreign language skills are needed in order to serve the wishes of tourists from abroad. Here the management must comply with the use of foreign languages with training data or when recruiting employees as a foreign language becomes an obligation in the acceptance of hotel employees. his study the authors use quantitative research methods. With the method of observation, questionnaires, documentation, literature study with Spearman correlation analysis and descriptive statistics. The data were obtained through distributing questionnaires to respondents, then the answers were obtained from SPSS 16 with correlation analysis. And from the SPSS output, the coefficient figure was 0.673. The coefficient value in the above result is positive, namely, 0.673 so that the relationship between the two variables is unidirectional (type of unidirectional relationship). Thus it can be interpreted that the use of foreign languages must be increased by training in order to increase the volume of room sales increases.

The relationship that exists between the seller (hotel party) and the buyer (hotel guest) in the future depends on the level of loyalty of the customers themselves, this study describes the extent to which the image of the hotel provides services to customers, where the service and image of a hotel are both can lead to a sense of loyalty from customers of a hotel. Where it can be drawn from the final results of this study that the image of the hotel and service is closely related in order to produce customer satisfaction, it can be seen in the variable constant value of 2.681, meaning that if the value of the independent variable (X1 and X2) is 0, then service is 2.681. The hotel image regression coefficient value is 0.271 from the hotel image variable (X1) with the assumption that the customer loyalty variable (X2) is constant (a) is 0 (zero), then the service increases by 0.271. And simultaneously the hotel image variable (X1) and customer loyalty (X2) simultaneously have a significant effect on services at Sapadia Hotel Siantar, Simalungun Regency. This can be seen from the value of Ftable = f (k; n - k), F- (2; 45-2), Ftable = (2; 43) = 3.21 that the Fcount value is 85,864> from the Ftable value is 3.21 and a significant value is 0.000.

Various foods and drinks served at the restaurant at the hotel are a strategy for the services provided in order to achieve customer satisfaction who visits a hotel. Customer satisfaction is the level of a person's feelings after comparing the service received with his expectations. This study aims to determine the extent of the relationship between the services provided which is the main objective of the service company. This type of research approach used in this research is a quantitative approach, where the data sources are presented in the form of numbers. This research is focused on how the relationship between service and customer satisfaction. The results showed that there was a significant relationship between service and customer satisfaction with a probability value of 0.000. Judging from the value of the correlation coefficient (r) is 0.985. This means that an increase in service will be followed by an increase in customer satisfaction.

Mastery of foreign languages is a mandatory imperative in the world of hospitality, especially hotels in urban areas with various tourist destinations. The Human Resources Department is obliged that foreign language is one of the requirements in recruiting hotel employees, Dairi Regency has quite a well-known tourist attraction and the number of hotels that can be said is sufficient, but whether hotel employees understand the role of foreign languages is very necessary to deal with visitors from outside Indonesia, and What are the obstacles for HRD in recruiting employees that none of the candidates have foreign language skills. This research is a descriptive method in which the descriptive method is a research method that focuses on problems or phenomena that are actual at the time the research was carried out. Where is the conclusion of this study that there is still a lack of foreign language mastery of hotel employees in Dairi Regency, but business actors have made plans for the need for foreign languages because there will be foreign parties from Wuhan who will invest in the tourism and hospitality sector in Dairi Regency.

This study identifies that in the development of a tourism destination in an area it is inseparable from the relationship between managers, stakeholders and the community, the Bulbul Beach tourist area in Toba Regency is a tourist destination that has the potential to continue to be developed because of the potential attractions in the Bulbul Beach area. The method used in qualitative descriptive research which is sourced from secondary data by conducting field studies and collecting data in the field and observation. This study concludes that developing a sustainable destination must be accompanied by the readiness of the actors, the community and workers in terms of tourism training so that there are no obstacles that hinder the development process due to the lack of readiness on the part of managers, communities and employees about tourism knowledge.

The existence of the Covid 19 pandemic phenomenon that occurred in Indonesia not only attacks factors from health but also has a very serious impact on MSME players in the tourism sector, where UMKM players must immediately make decisions in order to smooth the business economy of MSME products that are traded in the tourism sector in Simalungun Regency. Simalungun Regency as an area that is famous for tourism and culinary objects must be affected, especially for UMKM players. This research uses descriptive research to describe a phenomenon with the theory and results of research that has been done by previous researchers in order to draw conclusions through analysis and scientific methods. Where UMKM players who are affected by the COVID-19 pandemic must limit the products that are sold and some have to close their businesses and switch professions to become farmers and fishermen for economic needs that must be carried out.

This study aims to find out how the understanding of hotel employees in Berastagi to the CHSE (Hygiene, Health, Safety, and Environmentally friendly) program applied by the government to hospitality businesses. This type of research is qualitative descriptive research. The results concluded that In general, employees of 3- and 4-star hotels in Berastagi city understand the CHSE program that the government applies to hospitality businesses. The implementation of health protocols in every 3 and 4 star hotels in Berastagi city with the provision of hand washing areas and hand sanitizer in the main area of the entrance and other public areas, application of body temperature checks on every guest who comes and the presence of a distance guard in the hotel's public facilities such as the lobby area. The influence felt on the occupancy rate of rooms in 3- and 4-star hotels in Berastagi city after the CHSE program was implemented by the government, especially felt during the Week end.

The problem of agro-tourism development in Sipahutar District has not been able to develop, this is because it still has weaknesses, such as: 1) the district government is not yet optimal in developing the potential of the agricultural sector that can be empowered as a tourist area, 2) still inadequate tourism facilities and infrastructure such as lack of access to tourist sites, and the lack of attractions carried out 5) village road infrastructure leading to tourist areas is still dirt and gravel roads, 6) lack of promotion and information about agro-tourism areas. The purpose of this study was to analyze the influence of pineapple fruit tourist attraction on the welfare of the people of Sipahutar District and analyze the role of local governments in developing pineapple fruit commodity tourism in Sipahutar District. The analytical method used in this study is multiple regression analysis and descriptive analysis with the number of respondents as many as 94 people. The results showed that the influence of pineapple fruit tourist attraction which includes competitiveness, social capital and entrepreneurial culture has a positive and significant impact on the welfare of the people of Sipahutar District. The role of the local government in the development of pineapple fruit commodity tourism in Sipahutar District is to increase the capacity of pineapple fruit commodity business actors in Sipahutar District, North Tapanuli Regency by improving institutions, coaching, capital, and increasing the capacity of business actors.
