Abstract

This research aims to analyze the role of financial technology (fintech) in expanding financial access in remote areas, with a focus on a case study on Tello Island, an area located outside urban areas.  On Tello Island, limited infrastructure and minimal access to traditional financial institutions often become obstacles for local communities to access adequate financial services.  In this context, fintech has the potential to be a solution to bridge this gap.  This research explores how fintech innovations, such as digital payments, online loans, and money transfer systems, can overcome geographic and economic barriers, and increase financial inclusion in the region.  The method used in this research involves field surveys and interviews with fintech users, service providers and local communities to gain insight into the impacts and challenges of fintech implementation on Tello Island.  It is hoped that the research results will provide an overview of the potential of fintech in supporting economic development and community welfare in remote areas, as well as provide recommendations for the development of more effective and sustainable fintech solutions in similar areas.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the relationship between the style of transformational leadership and employee motivation in the service sector. Transformational leadership style, which includes ideal influences, inspirational motivation, intellectual stimulation, and individual consideration, is seen as an effective leadership approach in increasing employee work motivation. Work motivation is measured based on two main aspects, namely intrinsic motivation and extrinsic motivation. This research concludes that transformational leadership is an important factor in increasing employee motivation, especially in the service sector that requires intensive interaction with customers. The practical implications of this study include the need for the development of training programs to equip leaders with transformational leadership capabilities, as well as the importance of empowering employees through personal attention and encouragement of innovation.

Abstract

Abstract

The research conducted by the author aims to investigate and explain how centralized marketing and sales of MSME products are. In an effort to spur the development and growth of small businesses or MSMEs, a certain way or method is needed to increase their sales. One of the efforts made is to utilize digital media which has rapidly developed online application by many business actors. The problem that arises is how to choose and determine the most effective media in order to increase marketing activities so that sales turnover can increase significantly. Marketplace is a platform that provides effective solutions for MSMEs to improve marketing and sales in the current era of modernization, especially in the digital sector. In this research, the author used a survey method among MSMEs in the Gunungsitoli city area who were still actively using the marketplace platform. The benefit of a marketplace is that it is able to expand market reach so that it can increase the number of sales and facilitate transactions between sellers and buyers. Furthermore, using the marketplace certainly has several obstacles; including price competition between fellow MSME players, commission fees. On this occasion, the research carried out was an effort to propose a strategy for MSMEs in the city of Gunungsitoli to make perfect use of the marketplace platform.

Abstract

Digital marketing has become one of the most effective strategies in influencing consumer behavior inthis digital era. Social media platforms, as one of the main marketing channels, play an important role in shaping consumer purchasing decisions. This study aims to analyze the impact of digital marketing, particularly through social media, on consumer behavior. The method used in this study is a surveyof 200 consumers who are active on social media, focusing on the use of platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok. The results show that relevant content and direct interaction between brands and consumers have a significant influence on purchasing decisions. The findings provide insights forcompanies to design more effective marketing strategies in the digital era.

Abstract

The development of digital technology has changed the way businesses promote their products and services, including traditional markets. Social media is an effective marketing tool in reaching consumers, especially the millennial generation who are active in using digital platforms. This research aims to analyze the effectiveness of promotions via social media in increasing brand awareness of traditional markets, with a case study at Pasar Nou, Gunungsitoli City. The research method used is qualitative with data collection techniques through interviews, observation and documentation. The research results show that the use of social media as a promotional tool at Pasar Nou is still not optimal. Even though there is an increase in brand awareness among the millennial generation, factors such as traders' limited understanding of digital marketing, lack of consistency in content creation, and minimal interaction with the audience are the main obstacles to promotional effectiveness. This research concludes that social media has great potential in increasing brand awareness in traditional markets, but more targeted marketing strategies and education for traders are needed so that its use is maximized. The recommendations from this research are to increase digital marketing training for traders and optimize the use of interesting and interactive content to attract the attention of the millennial generation.

Abstract

Cryptocurrency has become one of the most attractive investment instruments in the digital era. This article examines the role of cryptocurrency in portfolio diversification using the Modern Portfolio Theory (MPT) approach. This study employs historical data analysis to measure volatility, correlation with traditional assets, and the impact of cryptocurrency integration into investment portfolios. The findings indicate that cryptocurrency has a low correlation with traditional assets such as stocks and bonds, potentially enhancing the risk-return ratio (Sharpe ratio). However, high volatility and regulatory uncertainty pose significant challenges. With an appropriate allocation strategy, cryptocurrency can serve as a complementary asset in portfolio diversification, particularly for investors with a high-risk tolerance.

This study aims to analyze product innovation strategies implemented by Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) to enhance competitiveness in the digital era. A descriptive qualitative approach was employed, with data collected through in-depth interviews, field observations, and document analysis involving ten MSME actors in Jakarta, Bandung, and Surabaya. The findings reveal that product innovations include quality improvements, design differentiation, and adaptation to market preferences through the use of digital technology. Digitalization plays a crucial role in accelerating innovation processes and expanding market reach, particularly through social media and e-commerce platforms. However, challenges such as limited digital literacy and restricted access to technology remain significant barriers for some MSMEs. The study concludes that product innovation strategies integrated with digital technology and supported by a conducive ecosystem can sustainably improve MSME competitiveness. These findings are expected to serve as a reference for entrepreneurs, government institutions, and policymakers in promoting innovation-based MSME growth amid digital transformation.

Abstract

The digitalization of payment systems has become a key factor in promoting financial inclusion in Indonesia. This study aims to analyze the impact of digital payment services on the access and participation of the public in the formal financial system. A quantitative approach was employed, collecting data through surveys of 400 respondents across urban and rural areas. Data analysis was conducted using multiple linear regression to examine the relationship between payment digitalization and financial inclusion, complemented by in-depth interviews for contextual understanding. The results indicate that digital payment systems significantly enhance financial inclusion; however, challenges such as uneven digital literacy, infrastructure limitations, and concerns over transaction security remain. The study recommends improving digital education, developing technological infrastructure, and implementing stringent security policies to broaden inclusive and sustainable financial inclusion in Indonesia.
