Abstract

T The growing popularity of K-pop in Indonesia has influenced consumer behavior, especially in merchandise purchases. Despite high fan engagement on social media, actual buying interest remains inconsistent, indicating a research gap. This study investigates the impact of consumer behavior and social media on purchase intention of K-pop merchandise in Bandung. Using a quantitative approach with 100 K-pop fans and path analysis, results show that both variables significantly and positively affect purchase intention, both individually and simultaneously. These findings offer academic insights into Fandom-related consumer behavior and practical guidance for creative industries in popular culture.

Abstract

The decline in hotel occupancy in Bandung City during the first quarter of 2025, including at Hotel Neo Dipatiukur, was a consequence of the budget efficiency policy stipulated in the Presidential Instruction of the Republic of Indonesia Number 1 of 2025. This policy resulted in the reduction of daily labor staff, leading to increased workloads for permanent employees, some of whom were assigned tasks beyond their core competencies. Such conditions have the potential to negatively impact employee performance. This study aims to examine the conditions of employee competence, workload, and performance at Hotel Neo Dipatiukur, as well as to analyze the influence of competence and workload on employee performance. The research employed a descriptive-verificative method with a quantitative survey approach. The sample comprised 32 permanent employees selected using a saturated sampling technique. Data were collected through a Likert scale questionnaire and analyzed using multiple linear regression with IBM SPSS Statistics 25. The results indicate that employees’ perceptions of competence, workload, and performance at Hotel Neo Dipatiukur are generally very good, although there remains room for improvement to optimize work outcomes and task management. The findings demonstrate that an increase in employee competence is positively correlated with improved performance, while a decrease in competence may reduce performance. Similarly, optimal workload management has a significant positive effect on performance, whereas disproportionate workload can adversely affect it. Partially, competence and workload contribute to performance improvements by 0.454 and 0.958 units, respectively. Simultaneously, these two variables explain 79.2% of the variance in employee performance, with the remaining 20.8% influenced by factors beyond the scope of this study.

Abstract

Regular consumption of fruits plays an essential role in maintaining the immune system due to their rich content of vitamins and minerals. In Indonesia, as a tropical country with abundant biodiversity, the dynamics of fruit consumption and production show an interesting development. This study aims to identify and analyze the influence of price and product quality on the purchase decisions of local fruits at the Caringin Traditional Market in Bandung City. The research employed a quantitative approach with a total sample of ninety-six respondents. Data were collected through questionnaires and supported by literature studies. The findings indicate that, partially, price does not have a significant effect on purchase decisions, whereas product quality has a strong influence on consumer preferences. Overall, both price and product quality jointly have a significant impact on the decision to purchase local fruits. These findings suggest that although price is not the main determinant in purchase decisions, product quality plays a dominant role in shaping consumer choices. Therefore, traders in traditional markets are encouraged to prioritize improving the quality of local fruits to maintain and enhance competitiveness against imported products.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the contribution of the creative economy to Indonesia’s Gross Domestic Product (GDP) growth and employment absorption. Employing a quantitative approach with descriptive-inferential methods, the study utilizes secondary data from the Central Bureau of Statistics (BPS), the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy (Kemenparekraf), and other supporting publications. The findings reveal that the creative economy’s contribution to GDP increased significantly from approximately IDR 700 trillion in 2013 to IDR 1,532 trillion in 2024, representing a growth of about 119%. In terms of employment, this sector absorbed around 26.5 million workers in 2024, an increase of nearly 89% compared to 2013. Culinary, fashion, and craft subsectors emerged as the largest contributors. A simple regression analysis indicates a positive relationship between the contribution of the creative economy to GDP and the number of workers absorbed. Nevertheless, challenges remain, including limited access to financing, low digital literacy, and insufficient protection of intellectual property rights. These findings highlight the strategic role of the creative economy in national economic development, while also emphasizing the need for supportive policies, capacity building, and broader digital technology utilization to strengthen its sustainable contribution.

Abstract

Customer satisfaction is very important for business development. Customer experience refers to the overall customer experience, while service quality is an important factor and the main cause of customer satisfaction. However, there are several problems at the PDAM in Patas 1 Village, namely when customers report damage and request repairs, the response is very slow and may not be responded to at all. When damage or repairs are needed at PDAM, no notification is given, which can take up to 2-3 days to resolve. As a result, the water may have a strong lime/chlorine odor, which could potentially affect customer satisfaction. This study aims to determine whether service quality and customer experience simultaneously and partially affect customer satisfaction. The type of research used is field research with a quantitative approach, using a questionnaire technique for data collection. The population in this study is PDAM customers, with a sample size of 86 respondents. The results of this study indicate that the service quality variable does not have a significant effect on customer satisfaction, in the sense that the better the service quality provided by PDAM Desa Patas 1, the less it affects the satisfaction obtained. Then, the customer experience variable has a positive and significant effect on customer satisfaction, indicating that the more positive the customer experience, the higher their level of satisfaction tends to be. Simultaneously, service quality and customer experience affect customer satisfaction
