Educatio Christi bertujuan untuk memajukan aktivitas akademik dan kreativitas karya tulis ilmiah melalui media penelitian serta pemikiran kritis dan analitis di bidang kajian Teologi dan Pendidikan Agama Kristen. Educatio Christi menerima artikel dari berbagai sub-disiplin yang terkait dengan Teologi dan Pendidikan Agama Kristen. Artikel yang dikirimkan harus merupakan karya asli yang belum pernah diterbitkan atau tidak sedang dalam proses penerbitan di jurnal lainnya. Setiap naskah yang dikirimkan wajib mengikuti panduan penulisan atau format yang telah ditetapkan oleh redaksi jurnal. Semua artikel yang masuk akan melalui proses peninjauan menggunakan metode blind review, dengan fokus pada kebaruan dan kontribusi terhadap ilmu Teologi dan Pendidikan Agama Kristen. Abstract

The pastor has the responsibility to preach the word of God, teach, administer the sacraments and guide with the aim of strengthening the faith of the congregation served, so that the pastor has an important role in the formation of the faith of the congregation. The church has a generation of Sunday school children so the ministry of Sunday school children is very important for the future of the church. This study aims to conduct a Theological Ethical study on the responsibility of pastors in the ministry of Sunday school children. The research method used is a case study with data collection based on interviews and observations. The results showed that pastors did not give themselves to Sunday school children's ministry because they were not familiar with Sunday school children's ministry.

Abstract

Worship is something that is very important for Christians, especially among today's young people. This article aims to discuss the performance or role of Youth Elders in building youth awareness in worshiping in the "GMIM Efrata Wusa" congregation. The question is whether the performance and role of a youth Elder influences the diligence and activeness of youth members in worship and youth make worship not just an obligation. as Christians but rather as a part of their lives. The method used by researchers in this research is a qualitative method by collecting library data, both books and conducting field research. Through this discussion the author offers a new perspective in Biblical theology regarding the role of Youth Elders who greatly influence the lives of young people in their active worship as church youth. My thesis is that Youth Elders are Special Servants who have a big responsibility in building the spirituality of church youth so that youth truly become responsible church members in terms of worship. This article ends with a conclusion.

Abstract

This article aims to provide Pastoral assistance to teenagers who are alcoholics in the GMIM Moria Darunu Congregation, Wori Dua Region. Adolescence is a transition period from childhood to adulthood. Adolescence is said to be a period of searching for identity because teenagers face difficult and confusing situations. On the one hand they still act like children, but on the other hand they act like adults. The problems in this research study are found in congregational and social life, so it cannot be denied that the behavior of teenagers has been entangled in the habit of drinking alcohol which ultimately has an impact on the physical and mental health of the teenagers themselves. The method used is a qualitative approach with data collection techniques through interviews, observation and document analysis as data collection tools. research results show that alcohol threatens the future of the Church. To anticipate the spread of the habit of drinking alcohol among teenagers, the church needs to provide pastoral assistance for teenagers in order to heal from an attitude of dependence on alcohol. The implications of this research can be useful for the development of pastoral theology for church services. This article was prepared by explaining what Pastoral assistance is, what the function of Pastoral Assistance is, what teenagers are, what alcohol is, and how pastoral assistance is carried out by the Church. This article ends with the author's conclusion.

Abstract

This thesis discusses the Calvinist church order and its implications for the congregation of GMIM Efrata Kanonang. The Calvinist church order is a system that regulates the life and ministry of the church based on the teachings of John Calvin, and GMIM Efrata Kanonang is one of the churches that adopted the Calvinist church order. This thesis aims to find out the congregation's understanding of the meaning of the Calvinist church order and how it implies for the congregation of GMIM Efrata Kanonang. The implications for the congregation of GMIM Efrata Kanonang are analyzed through interviews, observations, and literature studies. It can be said that an understanding of the Calvinist church order can strengthen the congregation's faith foundation, increase awareness of God's sovereignty, and strengthen commitment to church discipline and biblical authority. In conclusion, this research presents the Calvinist church order and its implications for the congregation of GMIM Efrata Kanonang. It is hoped that the results of this study can provide valuable insights for the church in strengthening church practices and the spiritual growth of the congregation.

Abstract

Jeremiah 18:1-17 talks about God who prepared Jeremiah to be sent to His people, Israel. Jeremiah asked to go to see how the potter work as an illustration of God’s supervision in the midst of the lives of His people. This text was studied using a Historical Criticism Hermeneutic which aims to explore the meaning of the text and uses qualitative research methods to determine the meaning of the text in relation to young people’ life. This research shows that the lives of young people have not yet fully submitted themselves to being shaped by God.

Abstract

This journal discusses how the role of parents in children's activity in Sunday school children's worship and how parents can educate their children properly and correctly. Parents' upbringing is so influential on children, what has been taught, exemplified to them will be done in children's lives. For a child, parents have a very important role in the child's life in the responsibility and obligation have a very important role, in worship for a child is very important in building the spiritual growth and faith of children. Motivating children to be diligent in worship is a task for parents who must teach their children from a young age to always know God in their life journey. To see that, the analysis in the preparation of this article uses qualitative methods and approaches in the form of observations and interviews. That way, a relevant role will be found for parents in educating their children.

Abstract

This research aims to explain the interpretation made of the text James 3:1-12. The aim of this research is to explore the meaning of a boneless but uncontrolled tongue according to James 3:1-12 and explain it to readers and young people, strengthened theologically by James 3:1-12. In conducting this research, we used a research approach to literature, in this case we wanted to carry out interpretive or hermeneutic work on a text and we chose to use a historical critical approach. The results of this research are theological points about a boneless but uncontrolled tongue being a sin of a teacher's responsibility, warnings regarding the use of the tongue, blessings and curses should not come out of the same mouth. The meaning of this theology is implied for the youth of the GMIM Viadolorosa Kairagi Dua congregation to be able to maintain speaking ethics as young Christians

Abstract

Love is a feeling that unites relationships between people and even with God. Many people misunderstand this poem, and consider the contents of the Song of Songs to be vulgar, and only have sexual values between men and God, vulgar, and only has the value of sexuality between men and women.This thesis discusses the relationship of love in the text of Song of Songs 5:9-6:3 by using qualitative research methods through Hermeneutic Studies of Historical Criticism. The results The results of the research show the love relationship between the Israel and the Lord God, that perfect love only comes from God.

Abstract

This article discusses the role of special servants, in this case elders and deacons, in building youth awareness of worship in the GMIM Solafide Rasi Satu congregation in the Ratahan region and this article also aims to examine how youth understand their duties and responsibilities in active worship. The problem faced is the lack of awareness of youth in congregational worship. This is also due to a lack of awareness of special servants, in this case elders and deacons, who pay attention to motivating young people to worship. This research uses qualitative research methods using procedures in the form of observation, interviews, data collection, data processing, data analysis and drawing conclusions. The implication of this research is that it can be useful for the development of practical theology in church services. This article is prepared by explaining what the role is, special servants, youth and worship as well as conclusions.

Abstract

This thesis discusses "The Model of Tolerance in the GMIBM Imanuel Mopuya Congregation in the Ibolian Region in the View of Christian Theology." The researcher uses qualitative research methods. Where the researcher focuses research on the GMIBM Imanuel Mopuya Congregation, Ibolian Region with tolerance values that represent a harmonious lifestyle. as social capital, it is able to offer a tolerant relationship pattern that prioritizes the values of mutual respect and mutual help. Religious relations that are preserved are evidence of social relations that foster diversity peacefully and with mutual respect.
