Educatio Christi menerima artikel dari berbagai sub-disiplin yang terkait dengan Teologi dan Pendidikan Agama Kristen. Artikel yang dikirimkan harus merupakan karya asli yang belum pernah diterbitkan atau tidak sedang dalam proses penerbitan di jurnal lainnya. Setiap naskah yang dikirimkan wajib mengikuti panduan penulisan atau format yang telah ditetapkan oleh redaksi jurnal. Semua artikel yang masuk akan melalui proses peninjauan menggunakan metode blind review, dengan fokus pada kebaruan dan kontribusi terhadap ilmu Teologi dan Pendidikan Agama Kristen. Abstract

The challenge of the church in carrying out God's mission is something that happens in reality, the church as a tool used by God to carry out His mission for His people, but in the midst of the church's efforts to carry out God's mission there are various challenges that o ften occur in carrying out God's mission. church, God's mission is not only limited to evangelism but all forms of church ministry are part of carrying out God's mission. In the midst of church life, the church in which there is an assembly, the congregation and even the entire ministry are called to be tools to carry out God's mission, they must understand correctly how the challenges occur and have a deeper knowledge of God's mission and mission. This journal has a goal in which people who believe in Him truly understand how God's mission is for mankind and what are the challenges of the church in carrying out the church's mission to realize God's mission for believers.

Abstract

A woman's work within the Church and Society is strongly felt by her real self-giving and dedication through community, family, local environment, work, Church ministry and social community.this is illustrated by the real role of Dorkas/Tabhita through Acts 9:36-42, because of her actions that have an impact on her surrounding life, especially her loving service that touches many people. This is because of the love of Jesus that touched her first, therefore a woman will be able to be a blessing and work wonderfully in the midst of limitations as a woman in the midst of the patriakhal system because of the love of Christ who lives in it. Likewise, the ministry of GMIM many women is truly a blessing to many, serving God earnestly because of the Love of Christ.

Abstract

This article begenned with the terminology of definition Christian Religious Education, function and the curriculum who used in the school. There are some problems about the teacher and their roles at the school. The aim of this article for sharing information about how we must facing the reality and to knowing the needed of teacher with students. Researcher using literature books and qualitative method approach. As part of an analyst the Christian Education in relation between teacher, student and also education in family. This article also talking about comparison between Christian Education in Government School and Christian School. Hopefully this article who talking about Christian Religious Education has impact into relation among teacher, students with family.

Abstract

This paper is a hermeneutic work based on the book of Genesis chapter 12.1-9 and given a title : Blessed To Be A Blessing. This point is brought up for re-awekening to church members, that basically as believers in the LORD God in Jesus Christ, we are colling to be blessing for many people and not to bring a burden of suffering to others. Because there are many acts of violence and even murder involving Christians. In carring out hermeneutical work on Genesis chapter 12.1-9, the author uses a critical historical method. Through work on this text is can be concluded that God calls people to be blessed and to be a blessing to many people.

Abstract

Throughout human civilization, technology has always been attached to humans as a device. This device makes humans’ life easier and safer. However, in subsequent technological developments, humans have lost their fundamental nature. Technology has started to switch humans’ consciousness in understanding oneself and God, the creator of the universe. Humans have started to make technology as their gods and it dominates humanity. When technology has been completely made into a god, this is called a technological singularity. Using the method of literature review, this article descriptively explains that religion has a role in anticipating technological singularities. Religion describes that technology is not despised by God. In several biblical stories, God asks humans to use technology to build good relationships between humans and God and each other. Technology must be a tool for humans to glorify God and also build relation with fellow humans and other creatures. The relationship between humans and technology is not meant to destroy the relationship between humans and God, but to strengthen it. With such an understanding, religion understands that technology is God's will to help humans strengthen their relationship with God and His other creations.

Abstract

Wisdom is an introduction to a real God, God Himself personally speaks to us to convey His truths, Therefore a Preacher must open himself to God's intervention through the Holy Spirit in order to be able to convey what is God's Will.A sermon is not just a phrase delivered with great self-ability, but how truly the Word of God is delivered and brings repentance and self-change in the life of the Preacher and His church.Wisdom must therefore lead the Ecclesiastes to convey God's truths in the sermon.

Abstract

This article discusses the Theological Ethical Study of the Abuse of Consuming Alcoholic Beverages Among Youth in the GMIM Maranatha Molompar Satu Congregation in the East Tombatu Region. This study aims to describe the factors that cause youth to be addicted to consuming alcoholic beverages. Through this research, it was found that there are several factors that motivate youth to consume alcohol excessively, namely as a way to overcome stress or pressure from everyday life, even because of social factors and curiosity that causes consuming alcohol. It also examines the ethical theological meaning of young people who are addicted to alcohol.

Abstract

This thesis is to highlight, describe, and analyze the relevance of Tontemboan local language in the creative liturgy of the 5th week in the congregation of GMIM Bukit Zaitun Tewasen Amurang IV Region. The problem that arises is that the congregation has begun to forget the Tontemboan language, which is the mother tongue and the identity of the Bukit Zaitun Tewasen congregation, so the author wants to see the relevance of the Tontemboan regional language. Tontemboan language, as an important element of culture, must be passed down from generation to generation so that the congregation will still recognize it. The advancement of globalization and technological advances is now one of the factors that influence the language culture to begin to erode. Through creative liturgy using the Tontemboan local language, it will provide a new atmosphere for the congregation in worship. The research method used to solve the problem is qualitative research, with stages of collecting scientifically tested literature, such as books and journals, without ignoring field data. The author's view is that the Tontemboan language culture is a wealth that only belongs to the Tontemboan tribe and that we must continue for generations. Being inculturated, Tontemboan language culture is integrated with worship but still runs according to the teachings of the Word of God.

Abstract

This thesis aims to conduct an in-depth study of Offerings in the Alfa Omega Rinegetan congregation in the perspective of Mission Theology. Offerings are a form of gratitude form believers and the offerings given by these believers are collected to sustain the work of church ministry which is part of the implementation of God’s Mission in this world. Making offerings, then, is one way as believers to assist in God’s missionary service through the church. However, the reality that occurs in the GMIM Alfa Omega Rinegetan congregation is that the lack of understanding and meaning of the congregation to give offering also affects the way they give. And in this study the author used qualitative research methods. The results of this study will explain the understanding of the congregation and the responsibility as believers in making offerings in order to help God’s mission work in this world through the church. The end of this paper is a conclusion that affirms the answer to the purpose of the study.

Abstract

In this research, the aim is to find out why the GMIM Damai Sejahtera Lahendong Youth did bad things in worship gatherings. Along with the development of science and technology, it also greatly influences the behavior of young people in worship gatherings. The increasingly easy use of the internet has been misused by many people, especially young people. The author sees that bad behavior continues to occur and develops in worship fellowships. Therefore, this research will look at the causes of the youth of GMIM Damai Sejahtera Lahedong doing things that are not good in worship fellowship. With this research, it is hoped that this research can be of interest to pay more attention and provide guidance for the youth. This research uses data collection techniques using qualitative methods including namely: interviews, observation, and literature study.
