Abstract

PDII had a unit in Puspiptek Serpong called UPJ PDII Serpong in charge of providing access to scientific information. To improve its service quality, it was necessary to evaluate user’s perception on provided services and compared it to the other library services in Puspiptek area. Evaluation was done on user’s satisfaction in the aspects of content, personnel, facilities, and price. Data were collected using questionnaires in the form of Google Form. Questionnaires were distributed to researchers in Puspiptek Serpong area, which were from LIPI, BATAN, and BPPT. Data obtained were analyzed using statistic descriptive method. Performance aspects were analyzed using Shannon Entropy to get the weight and the rank performances. The Performance of UPJ PDII Serpong compared tothe similar institutions using the Wilcoxon Match Pairs Test. Result showed that the customer satisfaction consist of content availability, servicespeed, price, librarian’s attitude, facilities, suitability of the content had an index of satisfaction with the value of B (Good). The librarian’s attitude had the highest performance, followed by the availability and suitability of content, service speed, facilities, and price. The performance of UPJ PDII Serpong superior in all aspects compared to BPPT and BATAN library performance.

Abstract

Knowledge management process using Nonaka’s SECI model in creation of knowledge can provide guidance for learning and developing activities. Nevertheless, understanding the process of socialization, externalization, combination and internalization needs to be deepened with a lot of practice directly. This article provides a framework for real method that synthesizes basic phases as informal knowledge from an expert who has never capture and promotes knowledge before. Purpose of this article is to open earlier tacit knowledge form into process of socialization and internalization. An expert knowledge how to handling damage records by natural disaster will revealed in explicit way through capture process of oral history. Process for document damage recovery is conducted using disaster management procedure or library materials preservation knowledge. Research method for knowledge capture carried through pre-interview, interview and post-interview. Support data such as form of images, diaries, letters, agreements and others are used to reinforce methodology. Applying this method will produce two knowledge directly which are disaster management knowledge and management knowledge processes.

Abstract

The characterization of digital databases is needed to make it easier for academics to identify scientific literature properly and efficiently. This literature review intends to provide characterizations and descriptions related to research trends, methods and coverage fields studied in research related to the scientific database of scientific literature from around 2007 to the present (January 2019). By applying the specified inclusion and exclusion criteria, 54 relevant studies were chosen to be studied further. The systematic literature review method was applied in this study to analyze and identify previous studies related to this topic. Based on the selected primary literature there is an increasing trend of studies related to the scientific database of scientific literature. In addition, we can see that there are four of the most influential and influential publication journals related to this topic, namely the Journal of Informetrics, Journal of Cleaner Production, Asian Social Science and Journal of Academic Librarianship which are characterized by high levels of productivity issues related to the topics studied and SJR values rank is in the range Q1. Most of the studies were conducted on Scopus digital database (41%), Web of Sciences (WoS) 38% and Google Scholar (GS) 13% and the rest spread in other publication journals. The results of this study also identified that Scopus is a scientific database which has the most varied coverage fields compared to other digital database scientific literature. WoS is a digital database of scientific literature that has proven to have a paper with a higher impact factor than others. GS has the predicate digital database with the largest collection level.

Abstract

Business activities of national oil and natural gas plays an important role because it influences a lot of research that yielded helpful innovative products and scientific research results should be recorded for publication through a reputable publication. Jurnal Scientific Contribution Oil and Gas as media accredited have been choosen researchers to disseminate their research products. Urgent known quality of a scientific paper research results through journal citation reliable indicator. Citation analysis used to explore the practice of journal presence in the bibliography in order to determine the usefulness level, characteristics, and power of citation. During 2010 - 2014 researchers cite 234 journal titles that majority coming from abroad. Journal cited generally have a conventional shape and obtained paid. Citation itself tends bit and gas technology research group active cites. Then from the mapping results obtained emergence total approaching journal article citation frequency. Common characteristics are evaluated is realized through collaboration, have reasonable degree of sophistication, produced from United States, write in English, and indexed by Scopus. Citation strongest by title of article found in similar journals, while “Taber JJ” is influential writer. Aggressive authors cite journal played by Oberlin Sidjabat and Morina from research center, then Imansyah Ibnu Hakim from college.

Abstract

This research purpose is to track scientific trend and development of master thesis in the UNS Educational Technology study program. The novelty of this research is the combination of science mapping and and linear regression approach to analysis centrality in determining scientific trend from 2012 until 2017. In this research, science mapping combines co-word analysis represented by the master thesis keywords and social network analysis through degree, betweenness, closeness and PageRank centrality. General outlook, the development of relations between clusters and keywords and centrality from year to year will be analyzed using Gephi software. To get representative maps, the map be organized using the Fruchterman-Reingold and Circular layout algorithms. To determine the trend of research focus, all four centralities will be analyzed using Tableau software. The study found that within six years, the focus of research was dominated by topics related to the evaluation of learning methods that emphasized cognitive aspects, had a contextual approach, cooperative and utilized interactive multimedia technology. It was also found that there was a shift in research from conventional learning media to information technology-based since 2015 and the emergence of new scientific topics since 2017. The future scientific trend is the development of interactive, contextual, cooperative learning strategies and utilizing information technology-based learning media.
