Abstract

Cattle farming plays an important role in Indonesia's economy, but its productivity can decline due to livestock health issues. To address this, this study develops a cattle disease diagnosis system based on machine learning using the Random Forest classification method. The system helps farmers identify diseases independently based on input symptoms. The model is built using the Random Forest algorithm, trained on 1745 primary data obtained from the Barru Regency Department of Agriculture. The data undergoes a comprehensive pre-processing stage, including cleaning to remove inconsistencies, One-Hot Encoding for categorical feature transformation, and class balancing using the Synthetic Minority Over-sampling Technique (SMOTE) to ensure fair representation of all disease categories. Model evaluation using a Confusion Matrix demonstrates a high accuracy of 91%, indicating strong predictive performance. Based on the model, a mobile application based on Android is developed to assist farmers in the early detection of cattle diseases.

Abstract

The Pangkajene Kepulauan (Pangkep) Regency Tourism, Youth, and Sports Office Management Application is an information system that includes four main features, which are adjusted to the four fields under the auspices of the Pangkep Regency Tourism, Youth, and Sports Office, namely: Tourism, Creative Economy, Youth, and Sports. This application is designed as a form of e-government implementation, with the aim of realizing good governance through the use of technology. This information system plays an important role in increasing organizational efficiency, while facilitating the use and processing of data. The results of the implementation and testing of this application show that the application was successfully developed according to the initial planning and functions as it should. This application acts as a management system for the admin of the Pangkep Regency Tourism, Youth, and Sports Office, as well as being a source of information for the public regarding Tourism, Creative Economy, Youth, and Sports in Pangkep Regency. This is proven through testing using the black box testing method on the admin which produces positive results, as well as testing with the SUS (System Usability Scale) method which gives a grade A with an Excellent interpretation at the level of public satisfaction. In the future, it is hoped that this application will continue to be useful for the Tourism, Youth, and SportsOffice of Pangkep Regency as an initial step towards implementing egovernment, as well as becoming an information system that makes things easier for the public

Abstract

In the rapidly evolving digital era, finding relevant journals has become a challengefor students, researchers, and academics. The easy access to journal publications hasled to an increase in the number of available journals. Therefore, there is a need fora recommendation system based on related journals automatically using the TF-IDFand K-Nearest Neighbor (KNN) approaches with cosine distance. The goal is toenhance the efficiency and accuracy of journal searches. The first step is to process the text taken from the titles and abstracts of the journals into numerical vectors using TF-IDF to determine the importance of words in each document. Then, KNN is used to find the journals that are most similar to the specified journal based on the distance between TF-IDF vectors. Precision@3 is used to evaluate the results of the top three recommendations. The evaluation results show highly relevant recommendations, with a Precision@3 value of 1. This system has successfully improved the efficiency and accuracy of automatic journal searches for relevant content

Abstract

The SAPEDA application in Pangkep Regency currently lacks a feature that allows prospective students to determine the nearest school to their residence. This has led to an inefficient school selection process and unequal distribution of students. The aim of this research is to develop a zoning system for the SAPEDA application at Madrasah Aliyah in Pangkep Regency. The study employs the Haversine Formula in the zoning feature to calculate the distance between students' homes and nearby schools, offering an effective approach to improve the SAPEDA system. This will help prospective students choose the nearest school, reduce transportation costs, and promote equitable access to education. The research procedure includes a literature review, interviews, system design, system development, and testing. Results from a questionnaire based on the TAM (Technology Acceptance Model) show that the system is well-received and positively evaluated by respondents, with an average score of 90.62%, categorized as Excellent. This indicates, that the system has successfully provided benefits, ease of use, and has met users' expectations across various evaluated aspects, resulting in a high level of satisfaction

Abstract

South Sulawesi possesses significant potential in the horticultural sector, particularly for leading fruit commodities such as jackfruit, mango, and duku, capable of meeting both domestic and international market demands. However, the scattered nature ofproduction data across various districts hinders effective analysis and strategic decision-making. This project develops an integrated system, comprising a data warehouse and a Web API, to present fruit production data systematically, structurally, and accessibly. The data warehouse is designed using a star schema, with a fruit production fact table that includes calculations like dominance percentages and annual growth. Dimension tables consist of time, location, fruit type, and sub-district, all supporting in-depth analysis. A Web API is developed to provide real-time and standardized access to analysis results. This system is expected to support data-driven decision-making for government agencies, researchers, and horticultural industry players in optimizing the sector's potential.
