Abstract

This research aims to describe the correlation between membership in certain types of Islamic mass organizations and the tendency to vote for one of the presidential candidates in the 2024 presidential election. The Islamic mass organizations in question include Nahdlatul Ulama (NU), Muhammadiyah, Al-Irsyad, and Hizbut Tahrir Indonesia (HTI). The approach in this study uses a type of quantitative descriptive research. The sample of respondents consisted of 130 respondents located in Brebes Regency, Tegal Regency, Tegal City and Pemalang Regency. The criteria used as respondents were respondents who were members of one of the Islamic mass organizations in Indonesia. The sampling technique used random sampling. While the instrument used in this research is a questionnaire. The data analysis technique uses hypothesis testing using the Cramer C correlation method. This research concludes that there is a correlation between membership of certain types of Islamic mass organizations and the tendency to vote for one of the presidential candidates in the 2024 presidential election. The correlation coefficient value is 38.86%, this coefficient is not It is classified as a high correlation, but if there is a correlation, it is clear that there is a correlation between membership in certain types of Islamic mass organizations and the tendency to vote for one of the presidential candidates in the 2024 presidential election. Suggestions for other researchers are that other research be carried out regarding the tendency to vote for one of the presidential candidates. in the 2024 presidential election.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the assumption that Nahdlatul Ulama is an organization that is not concerned with education. Whereas several contributions have been made by Nahdlatul Ulama in participating in advancing national education in Indonesia. This research proves the contribution of Nahdlatul Ulama to the current national education structure. For this reason, the method used is the historical research method and the method for collecting data with document studies, literature studies, and observation,. This study uses Anthony Giddens' structuration theory of agent, agency, structure, and duality of structure. This research produces evidence that the birth of the Joint Decree of Three Ministers is one part of the effort to recognize Islamic education by the state by accommodating existing madrasas for the pioneers of Nahdlatul Ulama figures as agents of change from the existing structure. Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi adanya adanya anggapan Nahdlatul Ulama merupakan organisasi yang tidak konsen terhadap Pendidikan. Padahal terdapat beberapa kontribusi yang telah dilakukan Nahdlatul Ulama dalam ikut serta memajukan Pendidikan nasional di Indonesia. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode penelitian sejarah dan metode untuk mengumpulkan data dengan studi dokumen, studi literatur, observasi,. Studi ini menggunakan teori strukturasi Anthony Giddens tentang agen, agensi, struktur, dan dualitas struktur. Penelitian ini menghasilkan satu bukti bahwa lahirnya Surat Keputusan Bersama Tiga Menteri merupakan salah satu bagian dari upaya diakuinya Pendidikan Islam oleh negara dengan mengakomodir madrasah yang ada atas pelopor para tokoh Nahdlatul Ulama sebagai agen perubahan dari struktur yang ada.

Abstract

This research provides an overview of religious tolerance in the social media era which is dominated by conservative Islamic discourse by paying attention to the emergence of the @Nugarislukis account which posts more friendly and humorous Islamic discourse, using K.H. Abdurrahman Wahid (Gus Dur) as the icon, Nugaris Lucu seems to represent the style of K.H. Abdurrahman Wahid (Gus Dur) is tolerant and humorous through his Tweets. This article will examine how Nu Garis Lucu represents Gus Dur as its icon, then this article will also analyze Nugaris Lucu's posts relating to the issue of tolerance. The results of this research show that Nugarislukis can show a more tolerant religious discourse with their dialogue Tweets with accounts such as @KatoliGL which give the impression of breaking down barriers of prejudice between religious communities. Penelitian ini memberikan gambaran toleransi beragama di era media sosial yang didominasi oleh wacana Islam konservatif dengan memberi perhatian kemunculan atas akun @NUgarislucu yang memosting wacana Islam yang lebih ramah dan humoris, menggunakan K.H. Abdurrahman Wahid (Gus Dur) sebagai ikonnya, @NUgarislucu seakan merepresentasikan kembali gaya K.H. Abdurrahman Wahid (Gus Dur) yang toleran dan humoris melalui cuitannya. Tulisan ini akan mengkaji bagaimana NU Garis Lucu merepresentasi Gus Dur sebagai ikonnya, kemudian tulisan ini juga menganalisis postingan akun @NUgarislucu yang berkaitan dengan masalah toleransi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa @NUgarislucu mampu menunjukkan wacana beragama yang lebih toleran dengan cuitan dialognya dengan akun seperti @KatoliGL yang memberikan kesan runtuhnya sekat-sekat prasangka antar umat beragama.

Abstract

This research aims to redefine the role of religion in facing the challenges of global conflict in this contemporary era. This research uses a qualitative method by involving academics and experts in fiqh politik for a deeper understanding. The data collected will be analyzed using the theory of "constructive interpretation" developed by Dworkin. The researcher found that the classical fiqh books written by scholars in the 19th - 13th centuries had different social, and political conditions from today, when seen in the time of the prophet, the concept of nation-states such as a consortium between countries established the United Nations which in its rules could not annex, expand to other countries did not exist in the time of the Prophet. Following up on this research, the understanding of fiqh politik should be further optimized through the development of educational programs that promote a deeper understanding of fiqh politik, especially among religious leaders, scholars, and the general public. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendefinisikan kembali peran agama dalam menghadapi tantangan konflik global di era kontemporer. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan menggunakan studi literatur secara detail untuk menjelaskan landasan teori fikih siyasah dan konsep perang dan damai dalam literatur agama Islam. Data yang terkumpul akan dianalisis menggunakan teori interpretasi konstruktif yang kembangkan oleh Ronald Dworkin (1931-2013). Peneliti menemukan bahwa kitab-kitab fikih klasik yang ditulis oleh ulama-ulama pada abad 19 H – 13 H memiliki kondisi sosial, politik yang berbeda dengan zaman sekarang ini, ketika dilihat di zaman nabi, konsep negara bangsa seperti konsorsium antar negara-negara mendirikan PBB yang dalam aturannya tidak boleh menganeksasi, melakukan ekspansi ke negara-negara lain belum ada di zaman Rasulullah. Menindak lanjuti penelitian ini, maka pemahaman fikih siyasah harus lebih dioptimalkan melalui pengembangan program edukasi yang mempromosikan pemahaman yang lebih mendalam tentang fikih siyasah, khususnya di kalangan pemimpin agama, ulama, dan masyarakat umum.

Abstract

Thel aim of this research is to reflect further on thel national political paradigm of NUl as one of the thel largest social organizations in Indonesia. Thel national political paradigm of NUl must continue to be in harmony and line with thel basic principles of Ahlulssulnnah Wal Jama'ah. Thel approach to this research is qualitative and thel type uses library research research methods using literature (libraries). Thel results of this research are that thel ideal framework of NUl as a jahiliyyah diniyah ijtima'iyyah (religious and social organization) must bel strengthened to prevent religious organizations from being weakened by practical political desires that can weaken them. This spirit and strategy can bel used not only by Nahdlatull Ullama, but also by other Islamic organizations that continue to fight for their position in thel national community. In this way, sociopolitical articulation as jam'iyyah diniyah ijtima'iyyah will develop paradigmatically.

Abstract

This study utilizes a literature review method to explore information and findings related to the existence of NU in political participation and governance in Indonesia. Data from the literature indicate that NU plays a crucial role in Indonesian politics, representing the aspirations and interests of the Muslim community. Research on the existence of NU in politics and governance in Indonesia is essential due to its significant contribution to shaping political opinions, formulating policies, and influencing the direction of national development. The study also recommends further evaluation of NU programs in national development and calls for comparative studies with other organizations to gain a deeper understanding of NU's role in the broader context of national development. Studi ini menggunakan metode kajian literatur untuk menggali informasi dan temuan terkait eksistensi NU dalam partisipasi politik dan pemerintahan di Indonesia. Data dari literatur menunjukkan bahwa NU memiliki peran penting dalam politik Indonesia, mewakili aspirasi dan kepentingan umat Islam. Penelitian tentang eksistensi NU dalam politik dan pemerintahan di Indonesia menjadi penting karena kontribusi besar organisasi ini dalam membentuk opini politik, membentuk kebijakan, dan mempengaruhi arah pembangunan negara. Studi ini juga memberikan rekomendasi untuk evaluasi lebih lanjut terhadap program-program NU dalam pembangunan nasional serta perlu dilakukan studi komparatif dengan organisasi lain untuk memahami lebih dalam peran NU dalam konteks pembangunan nasional secara lebih luas.
