Abstract

General elections are an important stage where political communication and the media play a crucial role in shaping public opinion and community participation. This research investigates the impact of political communication and the role of the media in elections, with a focus on how political messages are delivered, received and influence voters. Through an in-depth literature review and empirical data analysis, this research finds that the media has a significant influence in shaping voter perceptions, especially through the concepts of framing and agenda setting. Social media, while playing an important role in disseminating political information, also brings new challenges such as filter bubbles that can limit diversity of opinion. Effective political communication has proven crucial in influencing voter participation. Although this study provides valuable insights, limitations of the study need to be acknowledged, and recommendations provided for future research. In conclusion, a deep understanding of the relationship between political communication, media, and voter participation is key to supporting a healthy and democratic election process.

Abstract

This study aims to investigate the relationship between social media use and social anxiety in the millennial generation. Using literature research methods and correlation analysis, we collected data from respondents representing this generation to explore the impact of the intensity of social media use on levels of social anxiety. The research results show that there is a significant negative relationship between social media use and social anxiety in the millennial generation. These findings provide further understanding of how social media can act as an alternative channel in reducing levels of social anxiety among this generation. However, it should be noted that this influence may be influenced by various contextual and psychological factors. The implications of this research include the potential to develop intervention strategies that support the mental well-being of the millennial generation through managing social media use. These conclusions make a positive contribution to our understanding of the complex dynamics between technology and psychological well-being, opening the door to further research in this area.

Abstract

In the rapidly developing information era, efficiency in data storage and transfer becomes crucial. This research aims to analyze the performance of various data compression algorithms in the context of data storage and transfer. A literature review was conducted to understand the theoretical basis, types of compression algorithms, and factors influencing performance. The research methodology involves controlled experiments to measure compression ratios, compression and decompression speeds, as well as algorithm adaptability to data variations. The research results provide deep insight into the efficiency of each algorithm in various situations. The conclusion highlights the advantages and disadvantages of specific algorithms, providing practical recommendations for algorithm selection based on application needs.

Abstract

This research explores the relationship between self-concept and mental health of students in a higher education environment. A literature review was conducted to develop an in-depth understanding of how self-concept, which includes individuals' evaluation of themselves, can influence mental health. Key findings suggest that positive self-concept is correlated with good mental health, while academic environmental factors and academic achievement also have a significant impact. This research highlights the importance of developing support and intervention programs that focus on forming a positive self-concept to improve student well-being.

Abstract

Penilaian risiko adalah suatu proses penting dalam mengidentifikasi dan mengelola potensi bahaya kesehatan yang dapat mempengaruhi individu atau populasi. Pendekatan penilaian risiko yang efektif membantu para profesional kesehatan dan peneliti dalam mengidentifikasi bahaya kesehatan yang mungkin timbul, mengevaluasi eksposur terhadap bahaya tersebut, dan mengembangkan strategi pengelolaan yang tepat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membahas pendekatan penilaian risiko yang dapat digunakan untuk mengidentifikasi dan mengelola potensi bahaya kesehatan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah peninjauan literatur yang komprehensif terhadap penelitian dan publikasi yang relevan dalam bidang penilaian risiko kesehatan. Dalam peninjauan literatur ini, berbagai metode dan pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penilaian risiko kesehatan akan dijelaskan, termasuk analisis bahaya, penilaian eksposur, dan karakterisasi risiko. Selain itu, pentingnya melibatkan ahli multidisiplin dalam proses penilaian risiko akan dikemukakan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pendekatan penilaian risiko yang komprehensif melibatkan identifikasi bahaya potensial, penilaian eksposur terhadap bahaya, dan karakterisasi risiko yang akurat. Proses ini memerlukan data yang akurat dan terpercaya, serta melibatkan ahli dari berbagai disiplin ilmu, seperti toksikologi, epidemiologi, dan ilmu lingkungan. Penerapan metode-metode analisis risiko yang tepat dan komunikasi yang efektif tentang risiko kesehatan juga merupakan faktor penting dalam pengelolaan potensi bahaya kesehatan. Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi dalam pemahaman dan penerapan pendekatan penilaian risiko dalam mengidentifikasi dan mengelola potensi bahaya kesehatan. Dengan memahami risiko kesehatan yang terkait dengan berbagai faktor, seperti bahan kimia berbahaya, radiasi, dan penyakit menular, langkah-langkah yang efektif dapat diambil untuk melindungi kesehatan individu dan populasi secara keseluruhan.

Abstract

This research uses a heritage study approach to investigate the influence of the role of teachers in increasing the learning independence of elementary school students. Involving analysis of relevant literature, this research aims to identify key factors that influence student learning independence and the role of teachers in supporting the development of this independence. The research results provide insight into the relationship between teacher-student interaction, learning methods, metacognitive support, and the positive impact on student learning independence. The implications of these findings can be used as a basis for improving educational policies and developing more effective teaching strategies at the elementary school level.

Abstract

This research explores the impact of using content mastery services on increasing the fighting power of students in the Counseling Guidance (BK) Study Program at Indraprasta PGRI University (Unindra). The research method involves literature review, service implementation, and results analysis to evaluate the effectiveness of the service. The results show an increase in students' mastery of academic content and critical thinking abilities. This increase has a positive impact on students' academic achievement and career readiness. The findings of this research support the importance of implementing content mastery services as a strategy to strengthen students' competitiveness at the higher education level.

Abstract

This research examines the role of teachers in shaping students' character based on Islamic teachings through a literature review. This abstract summarizes the key findings found from related literature and discusses how the concept of monotheism, teacher example, interpersonal interaction, and the application of the values ​​of justice and compassion are crucial factors in shaping student character. This study highlights the significance of teacher-student interaction in creating an Islamic educational environment that supports the formation of positive character. The results can become a basis for teachers and educational practitioners to implement effective strategies in shaping student character based on Islamic teachings.

Abstract

This research aims to evaluate the effectiveness of varied teaching methods in the success of English learning. By conducting a literature review of various learning theories, teaching models, and previous research, this research investigates the impact of teaching methods that involve variations such as constructivist approaches, active learning, and the use of technology in improving students' understanding, motivation, and English language skills. The research results show that varied teaching methods can make a positive contribution to English learning achievement, while student motivation plays a crucial role. The implication of the results of this research is the need to integrate innovative teaching methods in the development of the English curriculum to achieve optimal learning outcomes.

Abstract

Demonstration method to improve student learning outcomes in mathematics subjects on the subject matter of large numbers in class IV semester 1 SD Negeri Karanganyar. The data analyzed in this study in the form of mastery of the material obtained through observations of the learning process and student activity obtained from the activeness of students during the implementation of learning activities that increase. The research was conducted in the fourth grade of SD Negeri Karanganyar, Pagerbarang Subdistrict, Tegal Regency, with a total of 24 students. Based on the observation results, it can be concluded as follows: 1) The application of the Demonstration Method Model was carried out well in the learning process: 2) After using the Demonstration Method in cycle 1 student learning outcomes reached an average of 68.33 while in cycle 2 student learning outcomes increased to an average of 85.83 so that there was a significant increase, so that the implementation of class action research was declared completed until cycle II only. Learning using the Demonstration Method can improve student learning outcomes. By using the demonstration method, student learning outcomes increase and learning becomes easily understood by students.
