Abstract

Formalin is a hazardous chemical commonly used in laboratories, especially for specimen preservation. Ensuring safe handling and storage is crucial to minimize risks. This research aims to design and build a device to detect formaldehyde gas in laboratory storage rooms. The device uses a DFRobot formaldehyde gas sensor to detect formalin concentration, processed by Arduino and displayed on an LCD. It features a buzzer for alerts, a servo motor for exhaust control, and a DC fan for air circulation. The system is supported by an LM2596 step-down module and a 12V power supply. Results show the device effectively detects formaldehyde gas and provides warnings when concentrations exceed safe thresholds, while also reducing formalin levels through improved air circulation.

Abstract

Network security is a critical aspect of information technology aimed at protecting data and systems from cyber threats. Statistical approaches play a key role in detecting anomalies, measuring efficiency, and predicting security risks. This paper explores the intersection between network security and statistics, emphasizing the use of data analysis and statistical methods to enhance system security. Furthermore, it discusses the challenges posed by big data processing and highlights the importance of machine learning in supporting adaptive security systems. The findings suggest that integrating traditional statistical methods with modern machine learning techniques can improve real-time threat detection and risk management in network security.

Abstract

has become the main platform for social interaction and information dissemination. The purpose of this study is to evaluate how social media contributes to the formation of students' national identities, taking into account technological, social, and cultural elements. The positive and negative impacts of social media on the strengthening of national values are researched with a qualitative approach and literature study methodology. Studies show that social media can help build a national identity by spreading positive content such as the country's history, culture, and achievements. However, on the other hand, there are challenges such as the spread of misinformation, the influence of foreign cultures, and the polarization of opinions that can threaten the unity of national identity. Therefore, collaborative efforts are needed between educational institutions, the government, and the community to optimize the role of social media as an educational medium and strengthen students' national identity in the digital era.

Abstract

Islamic studies is a broad and multidimensional academic field, covering various aspects from theology, law, history, to social practice. This paper aims to find out and analyze how the social science approach in Islamic studies and how the humanities approach in Islamic studies. The results of this study can be seen that the social science approach in Islamic studies is a perspective or method that uses concepts, theories, and analysis from social science disciplines such as sociology, anthropology, history, and political science to understand religious phenomena, especially Islam. The humanities approach in Islamic studies is a method that uses disciplines such as history, philosophy, literature, and cultural studies to understand Islam from an intellectual and cultural perspective. Each of these approaches contributes to a deeper understanding of how Islam interacts with different aspects of society, culture and history.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the relationship between Kauniyah and Qur’aniyah verses in constructing the epistemology of knowledge from an Islamic perspective. The research employs a literature review method, gathering data from various sources such as books, articles, journals, and relevant documents. The analysis reveals that Kauniyah verses encourage scientific exploration through observation and reasoning, while Qur’aniyah verses provide moral guidance and spiritual values. The integration of both forms a holistic, rational, and transcendental epistemological framework. The study concludes that the Qur'an, as the ultimate source of knowledge, emphasizes the harmony between revelation and science, advocating for a balanced approach that utilizes reason and observation to understand the universe while adhering to divine guidance. This integration fosters comprehensive knowledge aligned with Islamic teachings and serves the betterment of humanity.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze how the TikTok application can be used as an innovative da'wah medium in conveying Islamic values in the digital era. The main focus of this research is to explore the role of Islamic-based creative content in increasing public understanding and participation in religious teachings, especially among the younger generation. This study used a qualitative approach with a content analysis method on a number of da'wah videos on TikTok that were purposively selected based on the popularity and relevance of the message. Additional data was obtained through in-depth interviews with Islamic content creators and analysis of user comments to understand audience responses. The results show that TikTok has great potential as a medium for da'wah through short video formats that are creative, interesting, and easily accessible. Islamic values-based content, such as inspirational stories, understanding of Qur'anic verses, and explanation of hadith, can be presented in a short but effective manner. Content creators who are able to combine Islamic values with digital trends have succeeded in attracting the attention of young audiences, increasing religious awareness, and building positive discussions. The implication of this research shows that the use of TikTok as a medium for da'wah opens up new opportunities in delivering Islamic messages widely and relevantly in the digital era. The contribution of this research is to provide insights for preachers and religious institutions to utilize digital platforms effectively, and encourage innovation in modern technology-based da'wah strategies. This research also underscores the importance of digital literacy for Islamic content creators in order to deliver messages that are in accordance with religious and ethical values. Abstract

Data presentation is a crucial first step in statistical analysis, aiming to facilitate the understanding of the information contained within the data. This article discusses various methods of data presentation and introduces measures of central tendency used to describe the central value in data distribution. The measures of central tendency covered in this article include mean, median, and mode. Additionally, this article also discusses the concept of location in statistics, which relates to the position or distribution of data within a particular group. With a deep understanding of data presentation, measures of central tendency, and location, statistical analysis can be conducted more accurately, providing a clearer picture of the data being analyzed. The presentation of measures of central tendency and location is an important aspect of statistical analysis used to describe the distribution and position of data within a dataset. Measures of central tendency, such as the mean, median, and mode, offer insights into the central value or the most frequently occurring value in the data. Meanwhile, measures of location, such as quartiles, percentiles, and interquartile range, help to understand the spread of data and the position of specific values within the overall data context. This study aims to explain how to present and apply these measures in various types of data and how they can be used to make more informed and accurate decisions in statistical analysis. By understanding the presentation of central tendency and location measures, it is expected that a deeper understanding of the patterns and characteristics of the analyzed data can be achieved. Furthermore, this study will also address the limitations and challenges in using these measures and how to choose the appropriate measure based on the characteristics of the data at hand.

The method employed in this writing is a literature review, which involves analyzing theories and previous research related to data presentation. The findings of this review indicate that effective data presentation not only enhances the understanding of information but also aids in making accurate decisions. There are various forms of data presentation, such as tables, graphs, and diagrams, each with its own advantages in conveying information. In conclusion, systematic and clear data presentation is essential to ensure that information is well understood and supports the desired analytical objectives.

Abstract

It is very important to continue discussing national knowledge in line with national and state life. Here is the value of Pancasila acts as a bridge towards the development of national science. Pancasila as a guide to national life and the ideology of the Indonesian state, it is gradually losing its prestige and being replaced by foreign culture carried by the current of globalization. Pancasila actually consists of values that are formulated and sourced from the values of the Indonesian nation itself, and are in harmony with customs and culture that exist in the lives of Indonesian people. The aim of this research is to help the younger generation understand and recognize the forgotten national identity. Abstract

This article discusses challenges and expectations for Indonesian democracy, with an emphasis on several issues that affect the quality of the democratic system. The main characteristics that are identified include corruption, social and economic determinants, human rights violations, radicalism, the use of kebebasan berpendapat, political pragmatism, and a lack of access to information. As a result of these tantangan-tantangan, the political environment is not healthy, with oligarchy and economic politics limiting public participation and akuntabilitas. Despite this, there is a need to improve through increased transparency and accountability, independence for the peradilan, legal and political reform, and political education for the next generation. Human rights protection and sipil kebebasan also serve as a foundation for encouraging public participation in political processes. This article highlights the importance of cooperation between the government, the Sipil populace, and various other relevant parties in order to create a more robust and inclusive democracy in Indonesia.
