Abstract

This research was conducted to examine the influence of macroeconomic indicators, including the inflation rate, most-favorable nation (MFN) weighted average tariff, net trade goods (NTG), average crude oil price, and exchange rate (IDR to USD), on the profitability of ports in Indonesia represented by PT Pelabuhan Indonesia (Pelindo). Several quantitative tests were performed using secondary data from financial reports and macroeconomic data published by Pelindo and the World Bank from 2008 to 2021. The results revealed that there is a significant direct negative relationship between net trade goods and the exchange rate. However, there is no direct relationship found between the inflation rate, the most-favorable nation's (MFN) weighted average tariff, and the average crude oil price. This research is expected to benefit the government, researchers, academics, and the wider public as a literature reference for further research and to establish profitability strategies that involve macroeconomics.

Abstract

Currently, banks have issued a service called Electronic Banking (E-Banking). Where one of the services of E-Banking is Internet Banking which functions as an alternative to conducting banking transactions online using the Internet. Internet Banking makes it easier for customers to do online banking transactions, both financial transactions and non-financial transactions, except for making deposit transactions or cash withdrawals. But when using Internet Banking services, is there control or a chaotic system? Therefore, this article explains the reasons why customers use E-Banking services, the benefits perceived by customers, what are the obstacles faced by customers and suggestions or input on BSI E-Banking. Then in this article also provides an explanation of the experience of using E-Banking by customers. This article also explains the advantages and disadvantages of the E-Banking system. So that bank customers who wish to use Internet Banking services gain knowledge and can choose a bank that provides better and safer Internet Banking service security and can reduce disturbances in the E-Banking service system

Abstract

The sustainability of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) is a crucial aspect in supporting national economic growth. This study aims to analyze various internal and external factors influencing the sustainability of MSMEs. Internal factors include managerial capabilities, leadership, product quality, and technological adaptation. Meanwhile, external factors involve access to capital, market competition, government support, and socio-economic conditions. The analysis reveals that MSMEs with strong innovation, adaptability to technological changes, and optimal use of external support have a higher chance of sustainability. Therefore, an integrated strategy involving collaboration among MSME actors, the government, and the private sector is essential to strengthen the resilience and sustainable growth of MSMEs.

Abstract

The research objective was to determine the effect of work discipline on the performance of PUSKESMAS Rantau Peureulak Health Center employees. The distribution of questionnaires as primary data to a sample of 24 employees, then the results of the questionnaires were tabulated and analyzed and finally tested the hypothesis with the t test. From the research results, the average performance value on a scale of 4 or agrees with the proposed questionnaire means that the level of employee performance at the Rantau Panjang Peureulak Health Center in East Aceh District is running well, and also work discipline shows an average value on a scale of 4 or agrees. The simple linear regression value Y = 16.722 + 0.485X indicates that if the work discipline value is increased by 1 then the performance value increases by 0.485. Then the value of the correlation coefficient (r) is 0.611 which indicates a fairly strong relationship between variables, while the value of the coefficient of determination (r2) is 0.374 or 37.4% which indicates performance is influenced by discipline factors, while the remaining 62.6% is influenced by other factors which were not examined in this study such as the influence of salary, motivation, and work environment. And based on the t test obtained tcount 3.625 > ttable 1.994 and tsig <5% or 0.00 <0.05, this shows the hypothesis of the Effect of Work Discipline on Employee Performance at the Rantau Peureulak Health Center is accepted. And it is suggested to the PUSKESMAS Rantau Peureulak Health Center in East Aceh Regency to further improve the work discipline of its employees by implementing rules and exemplary.

Abstract

This research was carried out at boiled water producer CV. Afna Langsa took a sample of 70 respondents, namely customers. The distribution of questionnaires was carried out from October 2017 to November 2017 as primary data which was then analyzed using simple linear regression analysis equipment, then hypothesis testing was carried out using the t test, testing the correlation coefficient and coefficient of determination. Price is the amount of money sacrificed for an item or services, or value from consumers in exchange for benefits or ownership or use of products or services. Meanwhile, purchasing decisions are one of the main components of consumer behavior. Consumer purchasing decisions are the steps used by consumers when purchasing goods and services. Based on the results of simple linear regression, it is found that Y=4.531+0.672X, a constant of 4.531 is the value of the Purchase Decision variable when the Price variable is zero, or if the value of the Price variable is increased by 1 then the value of the Purchase Decision variable will increase by 0.672. Meanwhile, testing the correlation coefficient (r) obtained 0.753, indicating a strong relationship between variables, and the coefficient of determination (r2) 0.567 or 56.7%, the remaining 43.3% is influenced by product quality, brand, promotion and service quality. In the results of hypothesis testing (t test), the significance level of the Price variable on Purchasing Decisions was obtained tcount > ttable or 9.428 > 1.994 and tsig < 5% or 0.00 < 0.05. Shows that price influences the decision to purchase boiled water at CV. Afna Langsa, thus the hypothesis is that price influences the decision to purchase boiled water at CV. Abstract

The digital streaming industry faces increasing competition, particularly in price competition. The subscription prices of digital streaming platforms vary, making it difficult for companies to maintain price fairness. The fairness of price is a psychological factor that impacts consumer reactions to prices, and it significantly impacts satisfaction and loyalty. This study examines the relationship between price fairness, consumer satisfaction, and loyalty among digital streaming subscribers in Medan City. The sample consisted of 180 respondents, with the data collected using a questionnaire. The results showed that the fairness of price has a positive and significant impact on the satisfaction of customers and loyalty, the satisfaction of consumers positively and significantly affects loyalty, and price fairness influence consumer loyalty through the satisfaction of customers positively and significantly. The study suggests that digital streaming companies should adjust prices to meet consumer satisfaction and loyalty. Future research should explore engagement and expand the types of streaming platforms to gain further understanding. The findings can help digital streaming companies adjust prices to meet customer needs and preferences, ultimately increasing consumer satisfaction and loyalty.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of Poverty Level and Open Unemployment Rate on the Human Development Index with Domestic Regional Domestic Income as a Moderating Variable. This research uses quantitative methods, the research population is 38 cities and regencies in East Java, the research sample comes from data for 2018 - 2022. Researchers use a data and document collection model from the Central Statistics Agency (BPS). The analysis process uses multiple regression analysis of panel data assisted by Eviews 12. The results of this research state that the Poverty Level and Open Unemployment Rate have a significant negative effect on HDI, and GRDP can moderate the relationship between Poverty Level, TPT and HDI

Abstract

This study aims to investigate and compare the challenges faced in the implementation of sharia audits in Indonesia and Turkey. Sharia audits play an important role in ensuring financial institutions' compliance with Islamic economic principles, and comparisons between these two countries can provide in-depth insights into the complexities of Islamic audits across multiple contexts. The research method used is comparative descriptive, by evaluating previous research findings and relevant sources. Analysis is carried out on scientific literature, including from journals, books and other sources. Through this approach, the research will identify key challenges faced by sharia auditors, such as regulatory differences, public understanding of sharia principles, and economic policies affecting financial institutions. By comparing the results of research between Indonesia and Turkey, this study is expected to provide recommendations to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of sharia audits in both countries. The results of this study can also contribute to the development of Islamic audit practices globally, taking into account contextual and cultural differences between countries. In conclusion, this research is expected to provide a better understanding of the challenges of sharia auditing in Indonesia and Turkey, as well as contribute to the development of more effective sharia audit methods and practices in the future.

Abstract

This study is an explanatory research that builds causal relationships. The purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of financial knowledge on financial behavior with self-efficacy and financial attitudes as mediating variables. The theories used are theory of planned behavior and social cognitive theory. This study uses purposive sampling method in sample selection. The sample used was students majoring in accounting class 2019-2020 Atma Jaya University Makassar. The data collection method used was through a questionnaire. The analysis technique used is path analysis and sobel testing. The results of this study indicate that financial knowledge has a positive and significant effect on financial behavior. Financial knowledge has a positive and significant effect on self-efficacy. Financial knowledge has a positive and significant effect on financial attitudes. Financial attitudes have a positive and significant effect on financial behavior. Self-efficacy has a positive and insignificant effect on financial behavior. Self-efficacy has a positive and insignificant effect in mediating the effect of financial knowledge on financial behavior. Financial attitudes have a positive and significant effect in mediating the effect of financial knowledge on financial behavior.

Abstract

This study aims to determine whether the Toyota Agya car in auto2000 provides a purchase decision for customers, based on brand image and purchase decision. This research uses quantitative research. This research is used to prove the relationship between several variables. This research uses a descriptive approach with 99 respondents who are service providers at auto2000 in the city of Bandung. The variables in this study are brand image (X) and purchasing decisions (Y). The data collection method used is a questionnaire. The data analysis method used is descriptive analysis and simple linear regression analysis. Data processing tools use SPSS for windows version 25.0. Based on the results of simple linear regression analysis, brand image has a significant and positive effect on purchasing decisions. So this explains that brand image has a positive influence on determining the Toyota Agya purchasing decision process at PT.Auto2000 Asia Afrika Bandung.
