Abstract

The purpose of this research is to evaluate the implementation of motorcycle engine maintenance learning at Ngargoyoso Vocational High School. The evaluation in this study uses the CIPP model (context, input, process, product). The location of this research is in Ngargoyoso Vocational High School on learning to maintain class XI motorcycle engines with research subjects as teachers of maintenance for motorbike engines in class XI, students of class XI, and facilities. The technique of collecting data used a questionnaire that was distributed to class XI TSM A, XI TSM B, and XI TSM C and the teacher of motorcycle engine maintenance. Interview with one of the teachers, and document the final value of maintaining a XI class motorcycle engine. The validity used in this study is content validity where validation is carried out by experts. The trial of the research instrument was conducted in class XI of TSM D Ngargoyoso State Vocational School by testing the validity of using SPSS. Analysis of scores using the average to be assessed based on the assessment criteria. The results of the study show: (1) evaluation of the context (context) which includes the background of the program has been classified as good; (2) evaluation of input (input) is classified as good, input aspects include: human resources, curriculum, learning resources, and infrastructure; (3) evaluation of the process (process) which includes the process of implementing learning in classrooms and workshops is classified as good, but the aspects of the learning media used are quite sufficient so that they need to be improved. (4) Evaluation of product (product), which is the final grade of students classified as good.

Abstract

Critical Thinking Skills (CTS) is a fundamental ability that every student must have. In the modern era of 21st century learning, students are required to have broad understanding, creativity, the ability to solve problems, a nd ways of thinking from various points of view. This research is research on critical thinking skills in Vocational High School students. The instrument used is The Watson-Glaser Critical Thinking Appraisal (WGCTA) where the focus of measurement includes 5 indicators, namely argumentation ability, assumption ability, deduction ability, interpretation ability and conclusion drawing ability. This research uses quantitative methods because the data used are the results of pure test scores. This research was conducted on class 11 students of the Machining Engineering study program at State Vocational Hight School 1 Gombong. Critical thinking skills (CTS) measurement focuses on learning lathe machining techniques. The research results showed that 52.77% of students had very high critical thinking skills (CTS) abilities or classification A. Meanwhile, 2.78% of students had low abilities or classification D. Students' highest abilities are dominated by indicators of drawing conclusions. Meanwhile, the highest average score for classification A is 87.37 and the lowest for classification D is 62. Overall the critical thinking skills of the 5 WGCTA indicators in class 11 students of the machining engineering study program at State Vocational Hight School 1 Gombong have classification A.

Abstract

Abstract               This study aims to determine the level of knowledge, perception, and application of Occupational Health  and Safety(OHS) in class XII students of the Mechanical Engineering and Autotronic Engineering expertise program. This research used descriptive quantitative research methods. Retrieval of data using test instruments and questionnaires. The population of this study was 135 students of class XII,  67 students of mechanical engineering and 68 students of autotronic engineering.              The results showed that the level of OHS knowledge of class XII students of Mechanical Engineering, 76.12%, was in the good category, 19.40% was good enough and was 4.48% not good enough. Meanwhile, in class XII,  Autotronic Engineering which was included in the good category was 75%, 17.65% was good enough, and 7.35% was not good. The highest average gain lies in the OHS Terms and Principles indicator, namely for the engineering department, 98.51% of students are in the good category and 98.53% for the auto-electronics department, 98.53% of the students are in the good category.For the level of student perception, in class XII Mechanical Engineering which is in the good category is 95.52%, 4.48% is quite good, and there are no students in the poor category. Meanwhile, the level of students' perceptions in class XII of Autotronic Engineering  which was in the good category was 98.51%, 2.99% was quite good, and no student was in the poor category. The highest average gain lies in the OHS Terms and Principles indicator, namely for the engineering department, 98.51% of students are in the good category and 98.53% for the auto-electronics department, 98.53% of the students are in the good category.For the level of application, the highest percentage of students in mechanical engineering always did 72.14%, sometimes 26.37% and students did not do 1.49%. Meanwhile, there were 70.59% of students in autotronic engineering who always did it, 27.94% of the students did sometimes, and 1.47% did not. The highest average gain lies in the indicators of cleanliness and health of the work environment where for the engineering department, 72.14% of students always apply OHS measures. Meanwhile, for the autronic department, 70.59% of students always apply OHS actions.

Abstract

Konstruktivisme menjadi pendekatan yang populer dan berkembang dalam praktik pembelajaran saat ini. Hal tersebut tidak lepas dari teori-teori mendasarinya. Penelitian ini bertujua untuk mengetahui seberapa besar pengaruh model konstrukvistik terhadap pembelajaran siswa/i di masa pandemik COVID-19 tahun ajaran 2020/2021. Subyek dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas ini adalah siswa kelas X yang berjumlah 60 siswa/i. Penelitian terdiri dari aspek perencanaan,tindakan, observasi dan refleksi. Data penelitian diperoleh dengan metode tes dan observasi. Hasil Penelitian menunjukkan bahwa nilai rata-rata siswa dalam model konstruktivisme pada kegiatan pembelajaran adalah 56%  kemampuan siswa dalam menjalankan suatu kegiatan pembelajaran dirumah. Dari hasil tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa siswa/i dalam pembelajaran yang dilakukan pada masa pandemik ini mengalami penurunan dalam hasil belajar siswa dan guru berperan penting untuk selalu mengembangkan dan berinovasi dalam membuat pendekatan dan kegiatan belajar mengajar yang efektif.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mengetahui alat pendukung solar tracker single axis dalam menghasilkan output tegangan listrik, arus listrik, daya listrik, dan intensitas cahaya yang didapat oleh panel suryaMetode yang dilakukan dalam penelitian ini merupakan metode eksperimen dengan desain penelitian kuantitatif deskriptif yakni menjelaskan hasil dari eksperimen yang telah dilakukan dengan mengamati secara langsung hasil dari pengukuran yang dihasilkan oleh solar tracker single axis dan statis, hasil dari eksperimen akan dijelaskan secara deskriptif berdasarkan faktor-faktor yang diperoleh. Hasil penelitian yang telah dilakukan bahwa daya tertinggi yang dihasilkan oleh solar tracker single axis sebesar 24,37 Watt dengan intensitas cahaya 79.300 Lux dan perolehan daya tertinggi yang dihasilkan oleh panel surya statis sebesar 16,54 Watt dengan intensitas cahaya 72.400 Lux. Solar tracker single axis menghasilkan daya lebih besar dan dan efektif dibandingkan dengan menggunakan panel surya statis, hal ini dikarenakan solar tracker single axis dapat mengikuti arah cahaya matahari.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui : (1) adanya keterlibatan orang tua berpengaruh terhadap prestasi belajar mata pelajaran produktif siswa kelas X SMK Bhineka Karya Surakarta Program Keahlian Teknik Kendaraan Ringan (2) Pengaruh motovasi belajar terhadap prestasi belajar mata pelajaran produktif siswa kelas X  SMK Bhineka Karya Surakarta Kompetensi Keahlian Teknik Kendaraan Ringan serta silmutan prestasi belajar terhadap keterlibatan orangtua dan motivasi belajar siswa. Penelitian dilakukan dengan menggunakan penelitian korelasi. Populasi yang digunakan adalah seluruh siswa X SMK Bhineka Karya Surakarta Kompetensi Keahlian Teknik Kendaraan Ringan dengan jumlah 109 siswa. Pengujian penelitian ini menggunakan variabel yang terdiri dari 2 variable bebas yakni pengaruh keterlibatan orang tua dan besarnya motivasi belajar, serta 1 variabel terikat yakni grafik prestasi belajar produktif. Penyebaran angket dan kemudian didokumentasikan merupakan metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan. Penelitian ini menunjukkan hasil bahwa (1) terdapat hubungan yang positif dengan signifikan pada pengaruh keterlibatan orangtua terhadap prestasi belajar mata pelajaran produktif siswa kelas X SMK Bhineka Karya Surakarta Kompetensi Keahlian Teknik Kendaraan Ringan (r hitung> r tabelatau 0,240 > 0,212 pada taraf signifikansi 5%), (2) Adanya hubungan yang positif dengan signifikan pada motivasi belajar terhadap prestasi belajar mata pelajaran produktif siswa kelas X SMK Bhineka Karya Surakarta Kompetensi Keahlian Teknik Kendaraan Ringan (r hitung > r tabel atau 0,219 > 0,212 pada taraf signifikansi 5%), (3) Pengaruh hubungan positif yang signifikan pada keterlibatan orang tua dengan motovasi belajar yang terjadi secara simultan prestasi belajar mata pelajarn produktif siswa kelas X SMK Bhineka Karya Surakarta Kompetensi Keahlian Teknik Kendaraan Ringan (Ry = 0,342 dengan F hitung > F tabel atau 5,501 > 3,11 pada taraf signifikansi 5%), dapat ditarik hipotesis bahwa yang dikemukakan terbukti kebenarannya.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze students’ learning experiences during Industrial Work Practice (Prakerin), particularly in the development of hard skills and soft skills. This research used a qualitative descriptive approach conducted at SMK Negeri 2 Surakarta involving students, supervising teachers, and industrial mentors. Data were collected through interviews, observation, and documentation, then analyzed using interactive analysis techniques. The results show that Prakerin contributes to the improvement of students’ technical competencies such as vehicle maintenance and repair, as well as non-technical competencies including discipline, communication, teamwork, and adaptability to industrial work culture. Although several challenges were encountered, guidance from mentors supported students’ development. Overall, Prakerin plays an important role in enhancing students’ work readiness.Keywords: industrial work practice, vocational education, hard skills, soft skills

Abstract

Indonesia merupakan negara dengan jumlah penduduk yang padat namun minim lapangan pekerjaan meningkatkan tingkat kekhawatiran pada mahasiswa untuk mendapat pekerjaan dan mulai berfikir untuk memulai sebuah usaha (wirausaha). Hal ini terjadi baik pada mahasiswa ekonomi maupun non ekonomi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui seberapa tinggi minat wirausaha khususnya pada mahasiswa Pendidikan mapunun non kependidikan. 156  mahasiswa Universitas Sebelas Maret Surakarta dengan 70 mahasiswa non kependidikan dan 86 mahasiswa Pendidikan terlibat sebagai responden dari kuesioner yang telah didistribusikan menggunakan Google Form. Dengan hasil menunjukkan bahwa minat wirausaha pada mahasiswa Pendidikan lebih unggul dari mahasiswa non Pendidikan. Hal ini dapat terjadi karena mahasiswa FKIP memiliki keunggulan dalam Public Speaking, berkomunikasi, menganalisis, dan menentukan perlakuan yang tepat terhadap peserta didik yang dapat di aplikasikan juga pada kehidupan social maupun untuk memulai suatu usaha (wirausaha)

Abstract

This research aims to : 1) Investigate the effect of heating fuel through radial finned copper pipe in the upper tank of the radiator exhaust emissions on cars Suzuki APV; 2) Investigate the effect of adding ethanol to the fuel pertalite against exhaust emissions on cars Suzuki APV; 3) Investigate the effect of heating fuel through radial finned copper pipe in the upper tank of the radiator and the addition of ethanol to the fuel pertalite against exhaust emissions on cars Suzuki APV; 4) Analyze the comparison between the results of the fuel mixture pertalite heating and heating fuel ethanol pertamax through two copper pipe to the exhaust emissions of the Suzuki APV. This research use you right experimental method with a comparative descriptive data analysis. The sample used is a Suzuki APV with G15A1D100006 machine number. Data were obtained from a large  measurement exhaust emission levels CO and HC for 20 seconds at idle rotation with variations mix pertalite and ethanol as much as 0%, 5%, 10%, 15%, 20%, 25%, and 30% using the method without heating fuel and the use of heating fuel through a copper pipe finned radial variation fin spacing of 10 mm, 20 mm and 30 mm In the upper radiator tank. Data obtained from the research that is inserted into the table and displayed in a graph, and then analyzed. The results of this study were: 1) heating fuel pertalite in radial finned pipe through the upper radiator tank to the injection cars Suzuki APV can decrease the value of exhaust emissions of CO and HC;2) Addition of ethanol in fuel pertalite with higher levels of 0% to 20% decline in the value of exhaust emissions of CO and HC. Exhaust emissions of CO and HC to increase again in the levels of ethanolblending with levels of 25% and 30%; 3) heating fuel in a radial finned pipe through the upper radiator tank to the injection Suzuki APV car down the value of exhaust emissions of CO and HC. Value exhaust emissions lowest CO occur in the application of finned pipe distance of 10 mm with a mixture of 20% ethanol content of 19% and HC 0.3 by 2 24 to 33 ppm; 4) The value of exhaust emissions of CO and HC in blending ethanol content to 20% lower than the lowest value of the results of exhaust emissions of CO and HC pertamax pure with a value of 0.354% levels of CO and HC at 229.67 Ppm.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the effect of feed rate (advance speed) on the wear of Creusabro 4800 saw blades during the cutting of low-carbon steel using a cold saw machine with a constant cutting speed of 107 m/s. The methods employed include literature review, direct field observation, interviews with technicians and operators, and data analysis from operational logbooks over a 40-day period. The results show that increasing the advance speed significantly accelerates tooth wear, reduces the number of cuts that can be performed, and affects the quality of the cut surface. An advance speed of 0.05 m/s produced 1200 cuts with 0.20 mm wear, while at 0.40 m/s, wear increased to 1.00 mm and the number of cuts dropped sharply to 300 units. Observed wear patterns included flank wear, rounding, and chipping, which were aggravated by thermal load and cyclic pressure due to the geometry of materials such as H-beams and C-channels. The optimal advance speed range was found between 0.10–0.20 m/s, where the number of cuts remained high and wear was within acceptable limits. This study recommends implementing a blade replacement logbook system, using active cooling systems, and evaluating the use of TCT blades as an alternative to improve cutting efficiency and tool life in industrial production settings
