Welfare: Jurnal Pengabdian Masyarakat is a blind peer-reviewed journal dedicated to the publication of the results of community service. The articles published in the Welfare Journal include the results of original dedication. All publications in the journal Welfare are open access which allows articles to be freely available online without any subscription. Welfare is published four times a year by the literacy service journal as a journal manager at Faculty of Islamic Economis and Business, IAIN Kediri. Welfare accepts manuscripts or articles to strengthen the fields of applied and social sciences from various academics and researchers, both nationally and internationally. The scope is Society Development and Engagement focus on Social, Human Resource Development, Management, Business Management, Islamic Economics, Zakat, infaq, alms, waqf, bank and non-bank financial institutions, and MSMEs.. This journal contains research-based community service results such as PAR (Participatory Action Research), ABCD (Asset-Based Community Development), CBR (Community-Based Research), Service Learning, Community Development, and other methodologies.

Abstract

The main problem of this activity is based on the results of observations and discussions with electronics engineering teachers at SMK Negeri 2 Makassar. The problems faced in developing the competence possessed by teachers are due to the limited availability of special electropneumatic practicum equipment. This causes school difficulties in the process of implementing electropneumatic practicum learning activities due to the low competence of teachers in the field of electropneumatics. Therefore, training was conducted for productive teachers majoring in electronics engineering at SMK Negeri 2 Makassar so that teachers could develop their competence in the field of electropneumatics. The results achieved are that after this training, the teacher can understand the basic components of electropneumatics, apply Fluidim for simulation, be able to assemble electropneumatic control systems, be able to use various types of electropneumatic directional valves, be able to understand the application of various electropneumatic actuators, and be able to design operational sequences of control systems electropneumatic.

Abstract

The activity of implementing home industry assistance in online marketing aims to provide insight to home industry owners regarding online marketing strategies that are very important for increasing product sales. This activity uses the mentoring method. where this activity was carried out for about two months together, which then the author first prepared important equipment and infrastructure, such as rengginang labels and packaging, and carried out rengginang packaging with the rengginang home industry business owner, bearing in mind that the home industry did not yet have packaging for its products. Next, the author explains information related to online marketing strategies. Then the next step is to practice the process of creating a digital marketing account with the rengginang home industry business owner. So that in the future Rengginang home-based business owners will better understand and be able to take advantage of the benefits of digital marketing.

Abstract

One period that is quite important is when children enter elementary school. One of the things that can be introduced to elementary school children is the concept of ideals. Here, we can introduce and explain how the description of the profession can be his dream. Conventional learning that is often carried out by teachers in a classroom atmosphere tends to be teacher-centered, so that students become passive, bored, and lack motivation to achieve the goals given by the teacher. Therefore, a training was held on providing motivation for elementary school children by using the Ice Breaking Method for Students of SDN 32 Bacukiki Parepare, so that efforts to improve students' abilities to achieve the goals they dream of through the Ice Breaking Method are made the best use of to motivate themselves to continue their education and increase enthusiasm in the learning process.

Abstract

Cultivating maggot is a business of cultivating organic waste materials. The maggot cultivation business is very promising for making profits, so it is necessary to pay attention to determining the right selling price. The purpose of community service is to provide training on how to determine the maggot selling price by calculating the cost of production and mark up. This method starts from planning with problem identification, conducting training on selling price determination and evaluation. The results and discussion of this community service activity are given training and hands-on practice on how to determine the selling price. This activity was also attended by maggot cultivation entrepreneurs. So that entrepreneurs can find out the benefits obtained independently.

Abstract

Through the dissemination and implementation of this dawn can shodaqoh movement, it is hoped that the literacy index of cooperative members in carrying out ZISWAF will be higher. The implementation of the activities carried out during the RAT activities took place at the WSG (Warung Setono Goerih) on Jl. Untung Suropati no. 14-22, Pakelan Kediri City, namely increasing the awareness of cooperative members in carrying out ZISWAF, which was carried out in 3 stages of implementation and received appreciation and a good response. In preparation for the implementation, surveys and preparatory discussions were carried out, namely to determine the place and time of implementation. Then, in the early stages of its implementation, socialization of the introduction of ZISWAF was carried out through ZISWAF introduction material. Furthermore, the implementation of the Shodaqoh Movement The implementation was carried out by gathering KSPPS BMW Rahmah East Java members, whose proceeds were distributed to compensation for orphans, educational, social, and religious expenses, and Qordul Hasan financing.

Abstract

Social media that can be used to support the sale of goods online include Instagram,with various complete features on the application, namely business Instagram. Based On this, Sharia Finance Practice activities have been carried out in Jatipelem Village, Diwek District, and Jombang Regency, specifically in the Batik Tulis New Colet Small and Medium Enterprises (UKM) with Mr. Sutrisno as the owner. Writing this journal This articleaims to assist Batik New Cape Town SMEs in utilizing Instagram social media to support online marketing and find out customer segmentation so that they can add to their knowledge of business actors and increase business turnover. Method: In this article, data processing is carried out in several stages, namely literature study, interviews, and system analysis. The results of this discussion led to the conclusion that the use of social media for sales greatly influences the ease of promotion and interaction with customers. By utilizing Instagram, it is hoped that it will make it easier for Batik New Colet SMEs to see and observe community interactions through Instagram insight. The effect that is really felt actually occurs in the interactions ofInstagram users recorded on the personal Instagram accounts of business actors where the followers of these accounts began to find out about the batik products offered by business actors. By registering an Instagram account as a business account, Batik New Colet businesses can easily see insight into the number of followers.

Abstract

This community service is carried out using asset-based methods through the Asset-Based for Community Development (ABCD) program. The ABCD method is a model approach for the community to recognize its capacity or potential and use this capacity or potential to improve its standard of living and welfare. This mentoring activity was carried out for 30 microbusiness actors spread throughout the city of Kediri and across provinces. The micro-entrepreneurs who participate in the mentoring have a wide variety of business types, ranging from the food and beverage industry, receiving tailor-made clothing services, to trading. Assistance is carried out continuously for 30 working days.

Abstract

Batik is a cultural heritage that is still preserved today. UNESCO has even named it in the category of cultural heritage. Batik, which was only used by the royal family, became the clothing commonly used by the people. But now, many people are starting to leave batik. Especially young people who think batik is too outdated. By holding the exhibition, it's intended to introduce batik from CV. Wecono Asri to the wider community. The method used in this study is the PAR method. The implementation of the method is divided into three stages. The first stage is planning, observation, and implementation. There are two strategies for implementing the exhibition, namely offering products in front of the exhibition stand and going around to introduce the product to visitors. The results obtained from the exhibition held at Car Free Day (CFD) Dhoho Street, City of Kediri, are that more and more people know batik from CV. Wecono. proved by the presence of several visitors who were interested in looking around and asking questions about the batik products produced by CV. Wecono Asri. In the future, batik producers could use colors and designs that could attract the interest of all groups, especially young people.

Abstract

Implementation of Community Empowerment Learning Real Work Lecture Activities (KKNT-PPM) is a form of community service carried out by Widya Mandira Kupang Catholic University through collaboration between lecturers and students in an effort to solve social problems. The KKNT-PPM team carried out the community service in Kabuna Village, Kakuluk Mesak District, Belu Regency, East Nusa Tenggara. The Gebyar Literacy Program at the PAUD level in Kabuna Village aims to increase interest and basic literacy skills in early childhood. The implementation method includes needs analysis, program preparation, program implementation, and program evaluation. This program lasts for one week starting from February 2–10, 2023, with details of activities including visits and literacy assistance for seven PAUDs located in Kabuna Village, as well as holding literacy competitions at the preschool level. The results of the service show the development of early childhood interest and literacy skills by using attractive learning media. The development of interest and literacy skills in early childhood needs to get support from relevant stakeholders.
