Welfare: Jurnal Pengabdian Masyarakat is a blind peer-reviewed journal dedicated to the publication of the results of community service. The articles published in the Welfare Journal include the results of original dedication. All publications in the journal Welfare are open access which allows articles to be freely available online without any subscription. Welfare is published four times a year by the literacy service journal as a journal manager at Faculty of Islamic Economis and Business, IAIN Kediri. Welfare accepts manuscripts or articles to strengthen the fields of applied and social sciences from various academics and researchers, both nationally and internationally. The scope is Society Development and Engagement focus on Social, Human Resource Development, Management, Business Management, Islamic Economics, Zakat, infaq, alms, waqf, bank and non-bank financial institutions, and MSMEs.. This journal contains research-based community service results such as PAR (Participatory Action Research), ABCD (Asset-Based Community Development), CBR (Community-Based Research), Service Learning, Community Development, and other methodologies.

Abstract

The purpose of this community service activity is to be able to provide knowledge and understanding to BUMDes managers on how to improve the quality of financial reports or how to prepare quality financial reports for BUMDes so as to produce financial reports in accordance with accounting standards that apply to BUMDes financial reports. Materials regarding BUMDes accounting include basic accounting and preparation of financial reports for BUMDes business units, as well as simulation of preparation or compilation of financial reports based on business units (services, trade). Implementation of Community Service Activities, namely regarding Techniques for Improving the Quality of BUMDes Financial Reports, including Recording and Reporting Finances in accordance with Types or Business Units to Managers or Managers of BUMDes Activities in Lawela Selatan Village, has been carried out well, and as a result, there has been an increase in knowledge of recording and financial reports for BUMDes Managers or Administrators, including types of business, elements of financial reports, the accounting cycle, general journal, special journal, preparation of financial reports, and SAK.

Abstract

Promoting halal tourism destinations is one of the most important things to do, one of which is a tourist attraction in Labuhan Jung Koneng Village. Purpose This activity provides training on the use and creation of websites, accounts, and Instagram content to serve as media for promoting halal tourist destinations in Labuhan Jung Koneng Village, Bangkalan Regency. The event was attended by 20 people from the community around Labuhan village and managers of tourist sites. The method of implementing community service activities (PkM) uses lecture and discussion methods. The activity took place over three days, from February 24 to February 26, 2023. As a result of the PkM activities, training was carried out on the use and creation of websites and Instagram account content, which became a means of promoting halal tourist destinations in Labuhan Jung Koneng Village, Bangkalan Regency. It is hoped that it will become an effective and efficient means of promotion to display the tourist attraction of Labuhan Jung Koneng Village.

Abstract

Balung is a village located in the Arosbaya District, Bangkalan Regency, East Java Province, Indonesia. Our KKN was placed in Balung Village according to the grouping by UPPM STKIP PGRI Bangkalan. Education on rice product labels, entrepreneurship counseling, Balung oryzativa chips which are economic programs. For natural potential in Balung village, the majority of the population work as farmers. Because of its vast geographical area with rice fields. The output that we will produce is the Oryzativa Balung product, which is chips made from rice.

Abstract

One of the ways to increase the value of the natural resources produced by the Bandasoleh community, especially peanuts, is by processing peanuts into chocolate nuts, which adds to the community's creative ideas for processing peanuts into a snack product that can be sold in markets and shops in general. In this case, students offer attractive packaging to increase consumer purchasing power. Then in terms of packaging, the people of Bandasoleh pay less attention, so we are here to offer to the public that if the product is to be appropriate and seen as attractive, it must have attractive packaging, in addition to considering the needs of making the product so that it can determine the price according to the expenditure and the unit price of the product. This training will add to the community's experience and insight in developing natural resources around them into business ideas.

Abstract

The purpose of this training is to build the knowledge and skills of Kompepar members in the form of behavior in using Instagram social media to promote tourist destinations in Pagaralam City. The method used in this training is face to face lectures on social media concepts, and the practice of using these media in promoting tourist attractions. The results achieved in this training are increasing the knowledge and skills of Kompepar members in using Instagram social media seen from the selection of content, participation in responses (likes), and participation in giving comments. In conclusion, the content most selected by Kompepar members from Instagram social media is information, entertainment, and education. The participation of Kompepar members in responding to "likes" is very high because this "like" sign is a virtual friendship network for exchanging messages. Meanwhile, the participation of Kompepar members in using Instagram social media is by commenting on every post that appears, selecting, and sometimes blocking accounts that are considered negative.

Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic has had the impact of weakening the family economy, many workers have been laid off, and businesses are not running optimally. On the other hand, the group of mothers has free time, the potential to be productive independently by working from home, but they don't have the skills yet. So to overcome this problem the service team carried out sewing training service activities. This service activity aims to empower women, increase women's creativity and independence in Mekar Jaya Village, Pemulutan District, Ogan Ilir Regency. This service method is socialization, training, and sewing assistance which includes pattern making, cutting, and sewing. This service activity is carried out face-to-face or offline while adhering to health protocols. Sewing training is carried out in several stages. First, the participants were trained to make patterns using cardboard and then applied them to the fabric. Second, the participants were taught how to cut cloth properly. Third, participants are trained to sew using the correct technique, so the results are neat. The fabric used is Troso woven fabric, so that participants will be able to utilize local Jepara products. The participants' responses to this service showed that 95% of the material aspects rated it very well, the facilitator aspect 90% rated it very well, and the rest responded well. The results of this dedication show that 85% of the participants succeeded in being skilled in sewing, seen from the success of the participants in starting a sewing service business, and convection from cloth after participating in the service activities.

Abstract

This study discusses how to use social media in the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic as a marketing medium for Rona Creation's UMKM "dowry products" in Pacekulon Village. The purpose of the research is to introduce Rona Creation's "dowry product" to the wider community through the use of social media as a marketing medium so as to increase the potential of a larger market. The method used in this study is Asset Based Community Development (ABCD). The implementation of the research is by socializing the importance of social media, with the implementation of digitalization socialization to UMKM actors Rona Creations can make them aware of the importance of social media technology so that UMKM actors Rona Creations Creation can market its products following technological developments.

Abstract

The purpose of community service activities, the Larasati Women Farmers Group (KWT) is able to process chilies, diversify processed products, obtain added value, and be able to market processed chili products. Community service activities was carried out at KWT Andongsari Village, Ambulu District, Jember Regency in September - November 2022. The methods used are lectures, discussions, method demonstrations. The results of the activity obtained chili processed products in the form of various types of chili sauce with the criteria of being safe for consumption, hygienic production processes, adjusted to market tastes. Sambal production deserves to be a prospective business for women farmer groups with a home industry scale

Abstract

The habit of implementing clean and healthy living behavior is not easy, it requires understanding and motivation from individuals so that each individual is more disciplined in implementing it. The methods used in this service are data collection, making trash cans and providing post-COVID-19 Health Socialization education and making handsanitizers. The population of the white bull village is 1950 people, with the highest level of education being elementary school graduates so that many of the residents are unemployed. Most types of work are private employees/factory workers and farmers. The work programs that we carry out have had a positive influence on the people of Bantengputih Village, because the goals in each work program are very comprehensive in all circles.

Abstract

PGPR is a local microorganism that has an important role in promoting plant growth in an environmentally friendly manner. That’s could to increase plant resistance to pathogenic fungi. Community service activities was carried out at the Maju Makmur farmer group, Kalisat Village, Jember Regency from October to November 2022. The methods of community empowerment are lectures, discussions, method demonstrations. Material was given about the benefits of PGPR, the stages of making PGPR and application techniques to paddy fields. The results of the activity obtained an increase in knowledge and skills in using bamboo root PGPR in corn and celery vegetables. Corn and celery yields showed a tendency to increase the number of kilograms and increase the performance of longer corn. PGPR can play a role as a supporter of environmentally friendly agricultural systems. PGPR for farmer groups can become a joint venture through supply and distribution activities at agricultural shops.
