Abstract

This study examines the Islamic standard for educational costs as child support for migrant families in Klakah Village, Lumajang Regency. This research approach implemented a qualitative approach with an empirical juridical design. Data were obtained from five informants whose husbands were currently living away from home. Data collection techniques used interviews, observation, and documentation. The results showed that two families were not yet fully aware of their responsibility for providing for their children's education, and three families were still fulfilling their responsibilities to cover their children's education costs. The reason for not meeting educational costs was the family's focus on building a house and paying off debts. Parents recognized the importance of balancing material and religious aspects in child rearing. Keywords: Educational costs, child support, Islamic law

Abstract

This research explores the conceptualization and implementation of "Digital Prophetic Leadership" (DPL) within Islamic International Schools navigating hybrid learning ecosystems. It addresses the tension between rapid digital transformation and the preservation of spiritual-moral values. This study employs a qualitative case study design with a constructivist paradigm. Data were gathered through semi-structured interviews with school leaders, digital ethnography (netnography) within Learning Management Systems, and document analysis of school policies. Thematic analysis was used to interpret the data. The results reveal that DPL manifests through four prophetic pillars: Siddiq (virtual integrity and data transparency), Amanah (stewardship of digital well-being), Tabligh (omnichannel advocacy of values), and Fathanah (technological wisdom and strategic agility). The framework facilitates a "Triadic Alignment" between technology, theology, and teleology, enabling schools to remain digitally agile yet spiritually anchored. This study fills a research gap by synthesizing Western digital leadership constructs with Islamic prophetic traits, offering a roadmap for "sanctifying" digital spaces rather than merely adopting technology.

Abstract

The current era of digital disruption has triggered a significant transformation in the Islamic Religious Education (PAI) system, particularly driven by the Independent Curriculum (Kurikulum Merdeka) which requires adaptive pedagogical innovation. This study aims to synthesize the evolutionary trends of digital learning in PAI, evaluate the effectiveness of various digital tools, and analyze the integration of blended learning models during the 2021–2026 period. Using a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) approach based on the PRISMA protocol, this study examined 18 selected scientific articles from an initial pool of 840 publications identified through Google Scholar and Crossref databases. The findings reveal a growing shift toward the concept of Islamic Digital Pedagogy, where the Blended Project-Based Learning (Blended-PjBL) model emerges as one of the most effective pedagogical instruments. This model enables the integration of asynchronous digital learning with collaborative real-world projects, allowing students not only to understand theoretical concepts but also to internalize Islamic values through practical social engagement that supports the Pancasila Student Profile (P5). Furthermore, the use of digital platforms such as Wordwall, Quizizz, Canva, and CapCut enhances student engagement and encourages learners to become active producers of digital learning content. Despite these opportunities, the transformation of digital learning in PAI also faces several challenges, including disparities in teachers’ digital literacy and ethical concerns related to the use of Artificial Intelligence in learning environments. In this context, the concept of fiqh al-muamalah al-raqmiyyah is proposed as an ethical framework to guide responsible digital interaction and ensure that technological innovation remains aligned with Islamic moral values. The findings of this study highlight the practical importance of integrating pedagogical innovation, digital literacy, and ethical guidance in shaping the future of Islamic education in the Society 5.0 era.

Abstract

The acceleration of financial digitalization in Indonesia has positioned Islamic fintech as a crucial pillar within the banking ecosystem through linkage and channeling models. This study aims to map literature characteristics, analyze growth trends, dissect thematic contract transformations, and formulate strengthening strategies for Indonesia’s Islamic fintech-banking landscape. Utilizing a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) with the PRISMA protocol, 20 core articles were meticulously curated from 420 references spanning 2020–2025. Findings indicate a dominance of qualitative methods (60%), with an exponential surge in publications during 2024–2025 driven by post-pandemic regulatory shifts. Thematic synthesis reveals a significant transition from simple Murabahah contracts toward complex schemes such as Salam, Musyarakah, and Hybrid Contracts (al-uqud al-murakkabah). Nevertheless, a critical regulatory gap persists between DSN-MUI Fatwa No. 117/2018 and technical policies regarding digital risk mitigation. This study recommends harmonizing Lex Specialis laws, implementing Regulatory Technology (RegTech) for automated smart contract-based sharia audits, and optimizing the synergy of Islamic social funds (Ziswaf). These strategies aim to achieve financial inclusion aligned with Maqashid Sharia principles. Ultimately, the developed framework serves as a strategic blueprint for Muslim-majority countries to accelerate sharia-compliant digital financial integration globally.

Abstract

Classroom management in rural settings often faces multifaceted challenges, ranging from limited resources to socio-economic constraints. While urban education has been extensively studied, there is a scarcity of focused research on how optimized management strategies correlate with academic performance in Indonesian rural primary schools. Objective: This study aims to analyze the implementation of optimized classroom management strategies and their efficacy in enhancing student academic achievement at SDN Siyar Rembang. Methods: Employing a qualitative case study design, data were gathered through in-depth interviews, participant observation, and documentary analysis. The subjects included the school principal, teachers, and students, selected through purposive sampling. Data were analyzed using the interactive model of Miles, Huberman, and Saldaña, ensuring trustworthiness through triangulation and thick description. Results: The findings reveal that optimization is achieved through three core pillars: proactive spatial engineering, fluid transition management, and culturally responsive relational pedagogy (based on the Gotong Royong principle). Observations indicated a 30% increase in Academic Learning Time (ALT) when reactive discipline was replaced with proactive "withiness" and non-verbal cues. Conclusion: This study concludes that management precision can offset infrastructural limitations in rural areas. Optimizing the classroom environment creates a psychologically safe and structured ecosystem that directly fosters cognitive engagement and sustainable academic excellence.

Abstract

This study examines the dialectic between Banjar local wisdom and Arabic language pedagogy in Islamic Elementary Schools (MI) through the lens of Nusantara Islam. It addresses the critical tension between text-centric formal curricula and the sociocultural realities of students. Utilizing a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) and Comparative Meta-Synthesis, the research identifies that conventional, formalistic approaches often result in low student engagement and cultural detachment. Findings demonstrate that integrating Banjar values—such as papadah, pantun, and gotong royong—transforms Arabic instruction into a communicative, humanistic, and relevant process. The study culminates in the "Transformational Dialectical Conceptual Model," positioning local wisdom not merely as a teaching aid but as an epistemic foundation for pedagogy. This model redefines Arabic learning as a medium for character formation and cultural identity reinforcement. These results offer a strategic framework for developing localized curricula and contextual teacher competencies, providing a new direction for Indonesian basic Islamic education.

Abstract

This study examines the development of ethical dimensions and Islamic principles in a sharia financial literacy curriculum at the Al-Mujtama Islamic Boarding School in Pamekasan, Madura, East Java. This research employed a qualitative approach within an empirical juridical design. Data were obtained from five informants, including leaders, teachers, and students. Data collection techniques used interviews, observation, and documentation. The study concluded that the integration of sharia financial literacy can be achieved through three main patterns: (1) horizontal curriculum integration, by inserting sharia financial values and principles into existing courses; (2) vertical integration curriculum, through the development of learning materials specifically for sharia financial literacy or management; and (3) co-curricular integration, through extracurricular activities such as sharia investment clubs, business competitions, and industrial internship programs.
