Abstract

This study explores the role of technological innovations in enhancing access to information in Sidomulyo Village, Ngadiluwih District, Kediri Regency, East Java. Given the geographical isolation and limited infrastructure in rural areas, the research examines the impact of digital tools—such as mobile health applications, online educational platforms, and agricultural information systems—on improving access to vital resources. The Participatory Action Research (PAR) methodology was employed, involving local stakeholders in the design and implementation of technological solutions. The results indicate significant improvements in educational outcomes, healthcare access, and agricultural decision-making. However, challenges such as limited internet connectivity and digital literacy barriers were also identified. The findings highlight the importance of tailoring technological interventions to local needs and overcoming infrastructural constraints to ensure equitable access. This research provides insights into how technology can be leveraged for sustainable rural development, emphasizing the need for ongoing community engagement and infrastructure improvements..

Abstract

This article discusses a community service program focused on enhancing the skills and self-confidence of children at Quranic Education Institutions (TPQ/Madin) in Senggowar Village. The initiative employed the Asset-Based Community Development (ABCD) approach, which leverages existing community assets as the primary foundation for development. The key assets identified were the TPQ/Madin institutions themselves and the latent potential of the students. The program involved structured mentoring and training in public speaking, integrated with Qur'anic values. Activities included teaching assistance, speech and poetry training, and inter-TPQ competitions. The results indicated a significant increase in the students' confidence, communication abilities, and willingness to express themselves in public. The program successfully demonstrated that by focusing on and developing internal assets, it is possible to foster a generation of Qur'anic youth who are not only religiously knowledgeable but also confident and articulate, thereby contributing to positive social change within the community

Abstract

This community service initiative addresses the critical issue of plastic waste through an Asset-Based Community Development (ABCD) approach, implemented at SDN Senggowar 01 in Senggowar Village. The program focuses on transforming non-productive assets specifically, used plastic bottles into productive and valuable resources in the form of eco bricks. By leveraging the school as an educational hub, the project engaged students in hands-on activities that combined environmental education with practical skills development. The process included collecting plastic waste, processing it into eco bricks, and utilizing these bricks to create functional items such as shoe racks and waste bins. This initiative not only provided a tangible solution to plastic waste management but also fostered environmental awareness and creativity among students. The ABCD framework ensured that local assets were maximized, community participation was enhanced, and sustainable practices were introduced, resulting in meaningful social change and a cleaner school environment
