Abstract

Abstract: The Application of Saintifik Approach Using Concrete Object Media in Improving of Mathematics Learning about Addition And Subtraction of Fractions for the FifthGrade Students of Elementary School. The objectives of the research are: (1) to describe the steps of Saintifik approach using concrete object media, (2) to describe the improvement of Mathematics learning about operations of addition and subtraction of fractions for the fifth grade students of SD Negeri Srusuhjurutengah in the academic year of 2014/2015, and (3) to describe the problems and solutions. This research is a collaborative Classroom Action Research (CAR) conducted in three cycle. Each cycle consisted of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection.  The subjects of this research were 23 students of SD Negeri Srusuhjurutengah in the academic year of 2014/2015. The results of the research show that the application of Scientific approach with concrete object media that implemented with appropriate procedure can improve mathematics learning about operations of addition and subtraction of fractions for the fifth grade students of  SD N Srusuhjurutengah. Keywords: Scientifik, concrete object media, Mathematics

Abstract

Abstract: The Application of Concept Sentence Model Using Puzzle Media in Improving Writing Skills of Descriptive Text for the Fourth Grade Students of SD Negeri Candiwulan in the Academic Year of 2015/2016. The objectives of this research is to improving writing skills of descriptive text. This research is a collaborative classroom action research conducted within three cycles. Each cycle consisted of planning, action, observation, and reflection. Subjects of the research were 22 students. The results of this research showed that the application of concept sentence model using puzzle media can improve writing skills of descriptive text. It was proved by the increase of learning outcomes in the first cycle 65.91%, in the second cycle 79.54%, and in the third cycle 93.18%. The conclusion of this research is the application of concept sentence model using puzzle media can improve writing skills of descriptive text for the fourth grade students of SD Negeri Candiwulan. Keywords: Concept Sentence, puzzle media, writing skills Abstrak: Penerapan Model Concept Sentence dengan Media Puzzle dalam Peningkatan keterampilan Menulis Karangan pada Siswa Kelas IV SDN Candiwulan Tahun Ajaran 2015/2016. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan keterampilan menulis karangan deskripsi. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas kolaboratif yang dilaksanakan dalam tiga siklus. Setiap siklus terdiri dari perencanaan, pelaksanaan, pengamatan, dan refleksi. Subjek penelitian berjumlah 22 siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan model concept sentence dengan media puzzle dapat meningkatkan keterampilan menulis karangan deskripsi. Peningkatan keterampilan menulis karangan dari 65,91% pada siklus I, meningkat menjadi 79,54% pada siklus II dan meningkat lagi menjadi 93,18% pada siklus III. Simpulan penelitian ini adalah penerapan model concept sentence dengan media puzzle dapat meningkatkan keterampilan menulis karangan deskripsi siswa kelas IV SDN Candiwulan. Kata kunci: Concept Sentence, Media Puzzle, Keterampilan Menulis

Abstract

The objectives of this research are: (1) to describe the steps on the application of Pair Check Cooperative Learning Model with concrete media, (2) to improve Mathematics learning about fraction through the application of Pair Check Cooperative Learning Model with concrete media, and (3) to find problems and solutions on the application of Pair Check Cooperative Learning Model with concrete mediain improvingMathematics learning about fraction for the fourth grade students of SD Negeri 1 Jlegiwinangunin the academic year of 2015/2016.This research is a collaborative Classroom Action Research (CAR) conducted within three cycles. Each cycle consisted of planning, action, observation, and reflection. Subjects of the research were 19 students. Sources of data were derived from students, teacher, and observer. Techniques of collecting data were learning outcomes test, observation, interview, and documentation. Validity of data in this research was analyzed using triangulation of sources and triangulation of technique. Data were analyzed using quantitative and qualitative descriptiveanalysis.The results of this research show that: (1) the steps of Pair Check Cooperative Learning Model with concrete media was conducted appropriately through steps as follows: (a) explanation of concept with concrete media, (b) group division, (c) distribution of exercises and concrete media, (d) practice dosing exercises with concrete media, (e) trainer check the answer with concrete media, (f) give coupon to answer correctly, (g) trainer and partner change the role, (h) trainer and partner back to previous team, (i) give rewards; (2) the application of Pair Check Cooperative Learning Model with concrete media can improve Mathematics learning about fraction for the fourth grade students of SD Negeri 1 Jlegiwinangun in the academic year of 2015/2016. It was proven by the increase of learning outcomes in the first cycle 73,68%, in the second cycle 86,40%, and in the third cycle 92,10%; and (3) the problems encountered in the learning, namely: (a) the teacher pays less attention students who face difficulties, (b) the teacher does not guide students in doing assignments. Solutions for these problems are: the teacher pays more attention students who face difficulties, (b) the teacher guides students well in doing assignments.The conclusion of this research is the application of Pair Check Cooperative Learning Model with concrete media can improve Mathematics learning about fraction for the fourth grade students of SD Negeri 1 Jlegiwinangunin the academic year of 2015/2016.

Abstract

Abstrak: Penerapan Model CTL (Contextual Teaching and Learning) dengan Media Konkret dalam Peningkatan Pembelajaran IPA pada Siswa Kelas III SDN Gesikan Tahun Ajaran 2016/2017.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pembelajaran IPA tentang gerak benda dan energi pada siswa kelas III SDN Gesikan melalui penerapan model CTL (Contextual Teaching and Learning) dengan media konkret. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas kolaboratif yang dilaksanakan dalam tiga siklus. Subjek penelitian ini yaitu siswa kelas III SDN Gesikan yang berjumlah 21 siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data mengggunakan teknik tes dan nontes (observasi dan wawancara). Teknik uji validitas data pada penelitian ini yaitu teknik triangulasi teknik, dan triangulasi sumber. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan model CTL (Contextual Teaching and Learning) dengan media konkret dapat meningkatkan pembelajaran IPA tentang gerak benda dan energi. Kata kunci: CTL (Contextual Teaching and Learning), Media Konkret, IPA

Abstract

Abstract: Application of Model Cooperative Learning Index Card Match type in increasing student learning social studies class IV Glontor SDN Academic Year 2012/2013. This research is a classroom action research that aims to: describe the application of cooperative learning instructional model types Index Card Match, enhance social studies learning, and describe the challenges and solutions. The experiment was conducted in three cycles. The subjects were all class IV students at SDN Glontor which totaled 34. Source data comes from teachers and students. Data collection techniques used observation, interviews, tests, and documentation. The validity of the data using data triangulation technique. Data analysis with qualitative and quantitative analysis. The results show that the application of model Cooperative Learning Index Card Match types can improve learning Social Studies class IV students Glontor SDN Academic Year 20122/2013. Abstract

Abstrak: Hubungan Kemampuan Membaca Pemahaman dan Minat Belajar Matematika dengan Kemampuan Penyelesaian Soal Cerita Siswa Kelas IV SD se Kecamatan Klirong Tahun 2011/2012. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk membuktikan apakah ada (1) hubungan kemampuan membaca pemahaman dengan kemampuan penyelesaian soal cerita; (2) hubungan minat belajar matematika dengan kemampuam penyelesaian soal cerita; (3) hubungan kemampuan membaca pemahman dan minat belajar matematika secara bersama-sama dengan kemampuan penyelesaian soal cerita. Populasi penelitian yaitu seluruh siswa kelas IV SD se Kecamatan Klirong tahun 2011/2012, dari sejumlah 38 SD hanya diambil 3 SD sebagai sampel. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan teknik tes dan angket. Hasilnya adalah: (1) ada hubungan kemampuan membaca pemahaman dengan kemampuan penyelesaian soal cerita; (2) ada hubungan minat belajar matematika dengan kemampuan penyelesaian soal cerita; (3) ada hubungan kemampuan membaca pemahaman dan minat belajar matematika secara bersama-sama dengan kemampuan penyelesaian soal cerita.   Kata kunci: hubungan, kemampuan, minat, soal cerita.   Abstract: Relationship of Reading Comprehension Ability and Interests Learning Mathematics with Problem Resolution Capability Class IV Student Story Elementary District Klirong se Year 2011/2012. The purpose of this study to prove whether there is (1) an understanding relationship skills with the ability to read a story about the settlement, (2) the relationship kemampuam interest in learning math with stories about the settlement, (3) the relationship of reading ability and interest in learning mathematics pemahman together with the ability story about the settlement. The study population is all fourth grade students district se Klirong year 2011/2012, from a 38 SD only taken 3 SD as a sample. Data was collected by using tests and questionnaires. The result is: (1) there is a reading comprehension skills with the ability to question the story of the settlement, (2) there is a interest in learning math story problem resolution skills, (3) there is a reading comprehension ability and interest in learning mathematics together with the ability of settlement about the story. Abstract

ABSTRAK Retno Megawati. PENERAPAN METODE INKUIRI TERBIMBING UNTUK PENINGKATAN KEAKTIFAN BELAJAR IPA  PADA SISWA KELAS IV SDN 1 KABEKELAN TAHUN AJARAN 2012/2013. Skripsi, Fakultas Keguruan dan Ilmu Pendidikan Universitas Sebelas Maret Surakarta. April 2013. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk (1) mendeskripsikan langkah-langkah penerapan metode inkuiri terbimbing pada siswa kelas IV SDN 1 Kabekelan (2) meningkatkan keaktifan belajar IPA siswa kelas IV SD 1 Kabekelan dengan penerapan metode inkuiri terbimbing. Penelitian  ini berupa Penelitian  Tindakan  Kelas (PTK)  Kolaboratif yang  dilaksanakan  dalam  tiga  siklus yang terdiri dari 2 pertemuan,  masing-masing  siklus mencakup  tahap  perencanaan,  pelaksanaan,  observasi  dan  refleksi. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas IV SD Negeri 1 Kabekelan yang berjumlah 17 siswa. Sumber data berasal dari guru, siswa, teman sejawat dan dokumen. Teknik pengumpulan data adalah dengan tes, observasi, angket, dan dokumentasi. Validitas data menggunakan teknik triangulasi sumber dan triangulasi teknik pengumpulan data. Analisis data menggunakan teknik analisis statistik deskriptif komparatif. Prosedur penelitian adalah model spiral yang saling berkaitan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan metode inkuiri terbimbing dapat meningkatkan keaktifan belajar IPA di SDN 1 Kabekelan. Hasil tersebut terbukti dari adanya peningkatan keaktifan belajar IPA siswa dari setiap siklus. Berdasarkan hasil lembar observasi keaktifan siswa dalam pelaksanaan pembelajaran dengan metode inkuiri terbimbing diperoleh rata-rata siklus I yaitu 60% yang kemudian meningkat pada siklus II menjadi 75,8% dan meningkat lagi pada siklus III yaitu 90,3%. Peningkatan keaktifan belajar IPA siswa, berpengaruh terhadap peningkatan hasil belajar. Hasil belajar siswa pada pratindakan, persentase ketuntasan hasil belajar siswa baru mencapai 25%, setelah dilaksanakan tindakan siklus I, persentase ketuntasan hasil belajar siswa meningkat menjadi 59%, pada siklus II meningkat menjadi 73,6% dan siklus III meningkat menjadi 88,3%. Simpulan penelitian ini adalah (1) langkah-langkah penerapan metode inkuiri terbimbing pada siswa kelas IV SDN 1 Kabekelan meliputi menyajikan masalah, merumuskan hipotesis, mengumpulkan data, analisis data, dan membuat kesimpulan, (2) penerapan metode inkuiri terbimbing dapat meningkatkan keaktifan belajar IPA siswa kelas IV SDN 1 Kabekelan.   Kata Kunci: metode inkuiri terbimbing, keaktifan belajar   ABSTRACT Retno Megawati. The  purpose  of  this research  were (1) describe steps of guided inquiry method  to fourth grade students at Elementary School 1 Kabekelan, (2) increase the activity of learing science fourth grade students at Elementary School 1 Kabekelan with the application of guided inquiry method. This research is a Collaborative Classroom Action  Research conducted  in  three cycles,  each  cycle consisted of two meeting, includes  the  planning, implementation,  observation  and  reflection. The subject of the research was of fourth grade students at Elementary School 1 Kabekelan 2012/2013 in the academic year which the amount were seventeen students. The source data came from teacher, students, colleagues and document. The data collection techniques were test, observation, questionnaire and documentation. The validation of data by using triangulation technique which were triangulation of source and data collection. The data analysis used technique analysis statistic descriptive comparative. The procedure of this research was spiral model that was interrelated. The results showed that the application of guided inquiry method can increase the activity of studying science at Elementary School 1 Kabekelan. The result is evidenced by an increase in active learning science students from each cycle. Based on the results of the observation sheet active students in the implementation of the method of guided inquiry learning gained an average of the first cycle of 60% and then increased in the second cycle to 75.8% and increased again in the third cycle is 90.3%. Increased activity students learn science, affect the improvement of learning outcomes. Student learning outcomes in pre-action, completeness percentage of student learning outcomes has only reached 25% after the first cycle of action implemented, the percentage of mastery learning outcomes of students increased to 59%, in the second cycle increased to 73.6% and the third cycle increased to 88.3%. The conclusions of this research was (1) steps application of guided inquiry method on fourth grade students at Elementary School 1 Kabekelan include presenting problems, formulating hypotheses, collecting data, analyzing data, and making inferences, (2) the application of guided inquiry method can improve the learning activity science fourth grade students at Elementary School 1 Kabekelan. Abstract

Abstract: SAS method (Structural Analytical Synthetic) Beginning Reading Improvement in Grade I Primary School. This study aimed to describe: a step-by-step method of SAS (Structural Analytical Synthetic) that can improve beginning reading and improved reading skills beginning first grade elementary school students. This study uses classroom action research conducted in three cycles, each cycle includes the planning, implementation, observation and reflection. The results include: the use of measures SAS method can work well and improve the grade I read the beginning of elementary school. Improved reading the beginning of pratindakan reached 32%, 45% first cycle, second cycle and third cycle 73% increase to 84%.   Key word: beginning reading, SAS method   Abstrak: Metode SAS (Struktural Analitik Sintetik) dalam Peningkatan Membaca Permulaan di Kelas I Sekolah Dasar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan: langkah-langkah metode SAS (Struktural Analitik Sintetik) yang dapat meningkatkan membaca permulaan dan peningkatan keterampilan membaca permulaan siswa kelas I SD. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian tindakan kelas yang dilaksanakan dalam tiga siklus, masing-masing siklus mencakup tahap perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi dan refleksi. Hasilnya meliputi: penggunaan langkah-langkah metode SAS dapat berjalan dengan baik dan meningkatkan membaca permulaan siswa kelas I SD. Abstract

Abstract: The Using of Approach Realistics Mathematics Education (RME) in Increasing Mathematics Learning about Fractions the Class IV Grade Students Elementary School. The purpose of this research to describe the steps using of approach RME, to know increasing mathematics learning about fractions the class IV grade students elementary school and to find problems with solutions the using of approach RME. The subjects were elementary school students in class IV grade state Gunungmujil with total 26 students. Research carried out in three cycles with every cycle consist for planning, action, observation, and reflection. Data collection techniques are tests, observation, and documentation. The validity of data using triangulation method. Analysis of the data used by the qualitative and quantitative analysis. Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan pendekatan PMR yang sesuai dengan langkah-langkah dapat meningkatkan pembelajaran matematika tentang pecahan siswa kelas IV SD.   Kata kunci: PMR, Pembelajaran Matematika, Pecahan.

Abstract

Abstrak: Penggunaan Metode Scramble dengan Media Scrabble untuk Meningkatkan Kemampuan Membaca dan Menulis Siswa Kelas II SD Negeri Tanjungmeru Tahun Ajaran 2013/2014. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan penggunaan metode scramble dengan media scrabble untuk meningkatkan kemampuan membaca dan menulis siswa kelas II SD Negeri Tanjungmeru Tahun Ajaran 2013/2014. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas kolaboratif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan metode scramble dengan media scrabble dapat meningkatkan kemampuan membaca dan menulis siswa kelas II SD Negeri Tanjungmeru Tahun Ajaran 2013/2014.  Kata Kunci: Metode Scramble, Media Scrabble, membaca, menulis.
