Abstract

The purpose of this research is to see how the structure of the text conveyed by the online magazine Tempo to the general public (the public) regarding the discourse on the development of the Indonesian national capital in North Penajam Paser. Abstract

Public accounting is seen as one of the most secure professions for now. This study isaims to test and analyze empirically the assessment of financial rewards, professionaltraining, work environment and sosial value on the interests of students in Batam Citychoose career as a public accountant. The method use for the sampling in this study ispurposive sampling method with 1.087 accounting students in Batam City as thepopulation of this research and used 100 accounting students in Batam City as the sampleobtained from the Slovin formula. The sample has been used in this research isacccounting student that on their 5th abd 7th semester. This research collects the data fromquestionnaire and using a Likert scale to measure the questions than tested using anSPSS application to test. This research uses multiple regression analysis. This researchprove that financial reward, professional training and work environment have an influencepositive and significant influence accounting students becoming public accountants. Whilethe social value is negative significant influence career accounting students becomingpublic accountants.

Abstract

Instagram is an image-based social media that provides online photo or video sharingservices. Starsbox Barbershop is a service business that was established on July 6 2015which has 8 branches in the city of Batam. Starsbox barbershop has an existence in theeyes of the public where the company has been around for a long time. , not only providingservices but also producing its own pomade brand to sell and only market it at starsboxbarbershop outlets. Starsbox Barbershop utilizes social media Instagram with the account@Strasboxbarbershop_batam with 13.6 thousand followers as a promotional medium withcontent in the form of photos and videos. In promotional activities, of course, look at whatcontent will be conveyed to the public, apart from content, there is language which is oneof the values in the promotion. This study aims to analyze and describe the meanings andsigns in Strasbox Barbershop Promotional Content. Promotional content is not just aboutcommunicating through promotions but focuses on how the meaning gets clear to theaudience. The author uses a qualitative research method with a Sanders Pirece semioticanalysis approach. The results of this study are to examine the sign, implementation andcolor of the content made in the form of photos and videos that are presented throughphotos and Scene – Scene scenes in the promotional content videos so that they attractthe interest of the audience.

Abstract

This study aims to determine whether time management, academic achievement, is related to accounting students who work and do not work. In this study, the population was 7th semester accounting study program students in the city of Batam. The population in this study was 783 respondents and then a sample of 100 respondents was obtained by using the slovin formula for sampling. Data collection techniques using questionnaires and observation. Data analysis techniques were carried out by analyzing the validity test and reliability test, classic assumption test, hypothesis testing, coefficient of determination test (R2). The results of the t test analysis partially time management are not related to accounting students who work and do not work. Learning achievement is positively related to working and non-working accounting students. Simultaneously time management, academic achievement, to accounting students who work and do not work are not significantly related. The result of the coefficient of determination is 4.9%, meaning that the independent variables influence the dependent variable sufficiently. Keywords: Time management, academic achievement, working and non-working accounting students.

Abstract

Marriage is an significant occurrence in human existence and has always been an eventthat is considered sacred because it relies on religious concepts in its implementation. Thereligious side of marriage is contained in law number 1 of 1974 concerning marriage.according to article 57 of law number 1 of 1974 concerning marriage or also called themarriage law, which defines mixed marriage in law is a marriage that occurs between twoIndonesians and people from other countries to be subject to different laws, differences incitizenship. One of the parties is an Indonesian citizen. However within 1 (one) year of thehusband and wife's return to Indonesia, if a mixed marriage performed overseas can berecognized as legal under indonesian law, consequently, in accordance with the terms ofarticle 56 paragraph 2 of the marriage law, the marriage certificate must be recorded at thelocal civil registry office. The causes of mixed marriages in Indonesia are discussedin thisarticle.

Abstract

This study discusses how important Intellectual Intelligence, Emotional Intelligence, and Learning Behavior in understanding accounting. A questionnaire is used to collect data. The sample for this study was chosen using simple random sampling. The questionnaire was given out to accounting students with 286 responden. Methods of data processing are used multiple linear regression analys with help of SPSS (Product Statistics and Service Solutions). The outcome of this research partially indicate that Intellectual Intelligence and Emotional Intelligence has affect a significant possitive effect on understanding accounting. Learning Behavior has not affect and not significant on understanding accounting. However, simultaneously the variables Intellectual Intelligence, Emotional Intelligence, and Learning Behavior have significant effect on understanding accounting.

Abstract

Education is a form of manifestation of dynamic human art and culture and a condition for development. The increasing demand in the world of work triggers today's children to continue their education in tertiary schools. In Indonesia, the accounting study program is one of the most popular study programs when accepting new students on campus. The potential for a profession in the tax sector such as a tax consultant can certainly increase if you see the large number of accounting students in Batam City. However, this is in stark contrast to the number of tax consultants in Batam City. This study aims to determine whether factors such as Perception, Motivation and Self-Efficacy can influence students' career interests in the field of taxation. This research was conducted at universities in Batam City. student career interest in the field of taxation. while Motivation has no effect on student career interest in taxation.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to ascertain how Bank Syariah Indonesia (BSI) KCP Batam Batu Aji's customers decide to save money. This study employs a quantitative methodology and includes 197 respondents in its sample. This study uses a questionnaire distribution as a method of data gathering. The validity test, reliability test, multiple regression test, F test, t test, and coefficient of determination are some of the analysis approaches employed in this study. The SPSS 26 application was used to process the data that met the criteria for the analytic procedures. The statistical test's findings show that the independent variables of service quality and profit sharing have an impact on the dependent variable of saving choices. The findings indicated that, according to the calculation of the coefficient of determination, the influence of the independent variables profit sharing and service quality on the dependent variable of saving decision is 0,532 or 53.2%, demonstrating that these variables can have an impact on that decision. While additional factors outside the scope of this study have an impact on the remaining 46.8%. This demonstrates that the decision to save money is significantly influenced by service quality and profit

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the impact of taxpayers' understanding and perceptions of tax laws on vehicle tax compliance. The survey was conducted at SAMSAT Batam Center office. The sample size of this survey is 100 respondents, using incremental sampling method. This survey is a quantitative survey. From the results of this study, we can see that knowing the TAIX law has a positive and significant impact on road tax payment compliance at SAMSAT Batam Center Office. This is seen from t count 5.185 > t table 1.189 and sig 0.399, which shows that taxpayer perceived effects sometimes have no significant impact on taxpayer compliance. This can be seen from the t-count value of 2.968 and the sig 0.004 <0> 0.05, which allows us to conclude that the use of e-Samsat has no positive impact on road tax compliance.
