Abstract

One of the social media that is great demand by the people of Indonesia is TikTok. TikTokis a social media that is used to create content in the form of short videos. On TikToksomeone can become famous because of their content, these people are called tiktokers.One of the Tiktokers with interesting content is Nadya Khietna Putri, whose content has adistinctive feature that is, she makes TikTok videos of lypsinc and dance by displaying cuteand adorable facial expressions. Because she has an adorable face, many TikTok users areinterested in the content she’s uploads. But behind the many TikTok users who like Nadya'scontent there are also several other users who feel insecure about her beauty, they feel thatthey are not beautiful as Nadya and they often compare themselves with Nadya. They mostlyyoung women, felt that they could not be like Nadya, who was often praised and the centerof attention. It is because of this phenomenon that researchers want to examine whetherthere is an influence from Nadya Khietna Putri's TikTok content on the level of insecurity ofadolescents in Batam City. The theory used is S-O-R theory which assumes that the mediacan have an immediate and direct impact on audiences. This study uses a quantitativeresearch design with associative analysis. Data processing in this study used IBM SPSS 25software. The results showed that the t value for the variable Nadya Khietna Putri's TikTokContent (X) was 5.809 for the level of insecurity (Y) with a significance value of 0.000. Thisshows that t count is 5.809 > t table is 1.984 with a significance of 0.05, so it can beconcluded that H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted

Abstract

The emergence of Instagram as a new media has made many people take advantage of Instagram in several aspects of life, including as a medium of communication as well as a medium for marketing products or services, and media for political party campaigns and media for partitioning themselves for public figures and politicians. As was done by Anies Baswedan who is a presidential candidate in the 2024 Indonesian Presidential Election. Anies Baswedan branded himself through Instagram by displaying content related to daily activities and activities when he visited several regions in Indonesia. The formulation of the problem of this research is how the political branding of the Instagram account @aniesbaswedan in the 2024 Indonesian presidential election issue. The research conducted aims to determine the political branding of the Instagram account @aniesbaswedan in the 2024 Indonesian presidential election issue. This type of research is qualitative, using interpretive qualitative methods and approaches that used is direct content analysis. The data collection method in this study was Miles and Huberman with four stages consisting of data collection, data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. The results of this study indicate that Anies Baswedan divides himself into four categories in his uploads on Instagram, the first category is an honest leader, the second category is a smart leader, the third category is a visionary leader, the fourth category is a leader who is able to become a trendsetter.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of security, product display and customer value on purchase intention at PT Matahari Department Store TBK. Data was collected by distributing questionnaires via Google from. The research population is 100 customers at PT Matahari Department Store TBK. The technique used in this study is a non-probability sampling technique, namely purposive sampling technique. The data in this study were collected by questionnaire and analyzed using the SPSS version 25 program. The findings of the study were that security has a positive and partial effect on purchase intention with t count 3.261 > t table 1.98498 and a significance value of 0.000 t table 1.98498 and a significance value of 0.000 t table 1.98498 and a significance value of 0.000 f table of 2.47 and a significance value of 0.000 <0.05

Abstract

@batampromotion is a promotional information media in Batam on Instagram which had trusted by public to share information about tourism, property, automotive, culinary, and others in Batam. @batampromotion is quite active to updating content on Instagram that makes Instagram’s user interested to follow. @batampromotion is one of the accounts that having a prominent profile on Instagram, as a content creator who creates things that interest the public according to trending topics. The purpose of this research is to find out how @batampromotion’s Instagram builds the tourism image of Batam by content analysis. This research is a qualitative research using a descriptive method of content analysis approach with the object of research is content on @batampromotion’s Instagram. The results of the research is @batampromotion is uses a communication strategy through New Media Instagram by focusing on the quality of an interesting content and a relaxed manner of communication so that is easily to be understood by followers and/or other Instagram’s users. An image that built through @batampromotion’s Instagram content, Batam is described as a tourism city that focuses on entertainment places. The form of communication used is verbal communication which makes it easier for followers to receive more detailed information by adding textual explanations to the content.

Abstract

A series of efforts have been implemented by the Batam City Transportation Service in providing a number of conveniences to people who use Trans Batam Bus services, one of which is creating the Trans Batam Passenger Information System (SIP TB) application. This innovation answers the demands of the Batam City Government, in improving public services, in this case applications, where local government applications are expected to become e-government media as a means of interaction between the government and the public as well as facilitating electronic services. However, there are still deficiencies in this application where the SIP TB application has not been able to fully track the whereabouts of the Trans Batam buses because a number of buses still do not have GPS installed. This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of E-Government-based Trans Batam transportation service innovations by the Batam City Transportation Service and to analyze the factors that influence the effectiveness of E-Government-based Trans Batam transportation service innovations by the Batam City Transportation Service. This study uses a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. Abstract

The purpose of this research is to find out how product quality, brand image, and word of mouth influence purchasing decisions. The study sample size was 147 people, all of whom were randomly selected and used a questionnaire to collect information. Furthermore, SPSS version 25 is used to perform statistical analysis such as hypothesis testing, correlation analysis, multiple regression, and examination of classical assumptions and data quality. The test results state that product quality will certainly have a positive and significant effect on purchasing decisions, with a t value of 2.123. Brand image is not able to provide a positive and insignificant influence on purchasing decisions, with the result t count -0.457. word of mouth will certainly have a positive and significant effect on purchasing decisions, with the result t count 4,787. Then simultaneously product quality, brand image, and word of mouth will certainly be able to give an influence on purchasing decisions at PT Mandiri Apolindo Perkasa of 36.8% according to the coefficient of determination data (R2). Based on these test results it can be concluded that product quality is certainly capable of giving a positive and significant impact, brand image does not have a positive and insignificant impact, word of mouth is certainly able to provide a positive and significant, and simultaneously product quality, brand image, and word of mouth. mouth is certainly able to give a positive and significant influence on purchasing decisions at PT Mandiri Apolindo.

Abstract

Instagram is a social media used by the Glory Beach management to refer information and improve branding.The formulation of the problem of this research is how to use Glory Beach Instagram, and how to increase theGlory Beach brand image through Instagram. This research uses a descriptive qualitative research approach(descriptive research). The conclusions in this study indicate that the strategy for increasing the Brand Imageof tourism places in the @GloryMelur account is carried out by implementing branding strategy steps whichinclude determining the target market, determining existing competition, determining the point of difference(DOP). Categories of content posted by the @GloryMelur account include promos, posters, job vacancyinformation, events, holiday greetings, visitor activities and views. The implementation of the branding strategycarried out by the @GloryMelur account can be seen in the categories of posts uploaded. Determining thetarget market is more targeted by posting promos and events. Determination of competition can be seenthrough posting promos and events that are not carried out by other similar tourism accounts (comparison withthe @vio-vio account), as well as points of difference (DOP) in posting @GloryMelur content, namely contentabout promos, posters, job vacancy info, events, holiday greetings

Abstract

The existence of films in the midst of society has a different character compared to other media Apart from being an effective mass media in conveying ideas and ideas, film is also a medium to express an art to express a creativity and to describe human life. The film Ku Kira Kau Rumah tells the story of a girl named Niskala who suffers from bipolar disorder, a mental health issue that can relapse and attack her at any time. The purpose of this study is to find out the moral message represented by the film Ku Kira Kau Rumah. The research method used is a qualitative research method. Qualitative research is research whose data is in the form of statements or statements and begins with an interpretive approach. By using the semiotic approach of Roland Barthes perspective through denotation, connotation and myth. The results showed that Niskala's bipolar disorder was a mental health disorder, and she often experienced mood swings or very rapid mood changes. The moral message contained in the film "Ku Kira Kau Rumah" consists of relationships between family, friends, and partners, which include attention, full of hope, full of affection, honesty, perseverance, wisdom, openness, trust in others, and humility. Conclusion Moral values in Ku kira Kau Rumah can provide a teaching about family, friendship, courage in pursuing dreams and appreciating every opportunity, trust and sincerity so that the audience can face life with optimism, and appreciate an important relationship in life and not give up easily. Abstract

The objective of this study is to examine the initiatives undertaken by the National Amil Zakat Agency for Batam City in their charitable endeavors pertaining to economic welfare businesses. This research aims to address the pressing issue of high poverty rates in Batam City and identify strategies to mitigate and overcome the factors that hinder progress in this area. Factors Affecting the Allocation of Zakat Funds to Enhance the Wellbeing of the Residents of Batam City. The primary objective of this study is to examine Law no. 23 of 2011, which pertains to the effective administration of Zakat funds. Specifically, the study aims to analyze the Collection, Management, and Distribution Scheme outlined in the aforementioned law. The present study employs field research methods utilizing a qualitative approach, specifically focusing on descriptive research. The primary objective of the author's research methodology is to carefully consider the processes and constraints that were present during the study, subsequently providing a comprehensive account of the empirical evidence and a coherent elucidation of the prevailing circumstances. The accuracy of the information gathered regarding the subject matter of the research is the determining factor. Based on the findings of this study, it can be inferred that the Batam City National Amil Zakat Agency has effectively facilitated the allocation of zakat funds to enhance the well-being of the local population in Batam City. However, the agency's ability to fully exploit its potential has been hindered by several constraints, notably limited resources. The accomplishments of the Batam city Baznas work program have demonstrated a significant impact on various aspects, including economic advancement and equitable allocation of resources among the underprivileged population in Batam city. Abstract

Rafael Alun Trisambodo is a civil servant who has assets of IDR 56 billion. A fantastic figure for an echelonIII official so that these assets made Rafael in the public spotlight. Based on this, the Rafael Alun Trisambodocase went to the stage of investigation by the KPK. Furthermore, the KPK found strong evidence ofallegations of receiving gratuities and named Rafael as a suspect. This study aims to determine the realityof CNN Indonesia.com and Kompas.com media in framing news regarding the handling of the KPK in theRafael Alun Trisambodo case. This study uses Robert Entman's framing analysis with qualitative researchmethods. The results of the study found similarities and differences between CNN Indonesia.com andKompas.com in constructing reports on the case of Rafael Alun Trisambodo
