Abstract

Thomas Kuhn's idea of ??the scientific revolution contained in his magnum opus has become a new face in the development and birth of science. It starts from normal science that experiences anomalies and raises crises, so it needs to be attempted for the occurrence of shifting paradigm, by shifting the old paradigm with a new paradigm, which eventually gives birth to a scientific revolution. This Kuhn thought has relevance to various fields, such as nahw. Nahw as the grammatical Arabic language contains philosophical elements, which make it a complex language. In this context, nahw as a normal science cannot overcome the existing problems, so a crisis is born. The crisis received attention by several Arabic language experts, such as Ibn Madl?`, Syauq? Dlaif, and Tam?m Hasan. They assumed there is one factor that makes nahw complicated, namely the concept of ‘?mil. Therefore, for them, nahw needs to be reconstructed and renewed. Construction of nahw with new faces contained in each magnum opus, Ibn Madl?` in his book "Kit?b al-Radd ‘al? al-Nuh?t", Syauq? Dlaif in "Tajd?d al-Nahw ", and Tam?m Hasan in "al-‘Arabiyyah: Ma'n?h? wa Mabn?h?". In all three books, nahw experienced a great revolution.

Abstract

This study discusses the comparison of the application of Quantum Learning and Quantum Teaching models to the ability to understand mathematical concepts of class VIII students of Wahdah Islamiyah Makassar Middle School IT. This study aims to (1) determine the students' understanding of mathematical concepts taught by applying the Quantum Learning model; (2) knowing the ability to understand the mathematical concepts of students taught by applying the Quantum Teaching model; (3) knowing the significant difference between the ability to understand mathematical concepts through the application of the Quantum Learning model with the Quantum Teaching model. The approach of this research is quantitative with the type of Quasi Experiment with the design of Nonequivalent Control Group Design. The sample in this study were students of Class VIII B2 and Class VIII B3 which were 60 people out of the total number of students of class VIII 120 people. The research instrument used was a matter of testing the ability to understand mathematical concepts, observation sheets and documentation. Data were analyzed by descriptive statistical analysis and inferential statistics. The results showed that: (1) the ability to understand the mathematical concepts of students taught by applying the Quantum Learning model had increased; (2) the ability to understand the mathematical concepts of students taught by applying Quantum Teaching models has increased; (3) there is a significant difference between the ability to understand mathematical concepts through the application of the Quantum Learning model with the Quantum Teaching model.

Abstract

Islamic education is the development of the mind, structuring behavior, emotional arrangements, and human relations in the world that allows his life in accordance with Islamic ideology. The aim is to achieve the qualities mentioned by the Qur'an and Hadith. This research is a research library research, then the data collection technique used in this research is literary data collection, namely by collecting coherent library materials with a research focus. The results of the study, namely that Hamka showed a harmonious relevance between religious and public sciences. The existence of religion is not only legitimizing the existing social system, but also needs to pay attention and control human behavior well.

Abstract

Al-Munawwariyyah Islamic Boarding School is a modern boarding school which provide complete and luxurious facilities. However, This Quranic Boarding school has the tradition of gasab. Gasab is the activity of taking, using and bringing any things belongs to other people without any permission from the owner. The result of interview between researcher and santri showed that not all of santris eager to do gasab. New santris are reluctant to do gasab although they are often becoming the victim of gasab because they are afraid to use anything belongs to other without any permission from the owner. Senior Santri is those who are often and eager to do gasab because they were tired if they have to buy any goods which is lost caused gasab. The effect of one gasab will encourage the other people to do one. Thus, this tradition will last long.

Abstract

The media openness as part of technological expansion gives many opportunities for self-revealing. These openness constitute consequences towards society digitalization. The openness uttered several variations and forms of self identification for public. Although these openness urged towards new idea of freedom, it does not mean it flew without norms. Its normative freedom did not offer any way except the old prevailed within new current. One of these perfomativity also conducted in humor field, especially in this study of parody. When humor assumed as alternative way to alleviate the system responsibility which is overly normative in some ways, humor also had particularly social contract that should be bring to heel by all the performers. This study is expected to reveal some things as well as the queer identity represent themselves in the humor field. It also conducted to reveal how new rules/norms obtain to both rein and freed the space of particular identity.

Abstract

Indonesia is not only an abundant country with natural resources, but also an abundance of cultural wealth. Cultural richness, if managed properly, can be a source of blessing for this nation, but it contains the potential for conflicts that can divide the unity of the nation. Too often this country has been engulfed in horizontal conflicts stemming from cultural differences. This indicates that public awareness in multiculturalism is still low. In other words, the multicultural character of citizens has not yet been formed. This is where the importance of the foundation of multicultural education in an effort to print human character. Character education needs to be done thoroughly through various sectors of life and this effort needs to be done consciously, planned and integrally. To realize this, a new paradigm in education is needed, namely education with an integrated multicultural approach. Efforts to build character values ??begin with building self and community identity that has strong character in facing the changing times and in accordance with the cultural roots of the nation. These efforts need to be done with an approach that is appropriate to the character of the community. Therefore, through planned and comprehensive and sustainable change, values ??in multicultural education through character education can fill the space of humanity, individual creativity in building their nationalism identity and identity.
