Abstract

ABSTRAKPurpose of this research was (1) Determine the erosion in the watershed Walikan 2012.(2) To know the land productivity in the Watershed Walikan 2012. (3) To know theeffect of erosion on land productivity in Watershed Walikan 2012. This research usedquantitative ? descriptive analysis method. The results show that the greatest class inthe watershed Walikan is very low class which has area of 5143.83 hectares or 91.86%,while the greatest land productivity class is high land productivity class which has areaof 1808.32 hectares or 55.69%. The influence of erosion on land productivity is -0.529which has mean moderate level, with negative correlation form. If there was ten-folderosion increasing, the land productivity was reduce to Rp 3.382.818,00 as well as ifthere was ten-fold erosion decrease, the productivity would increase byRp 3.382.818,00; the erosion give 27,9% as contribution major contribution influencingland productivity.Kata Kunci : Erosi, Satuan Lahan, Produktivitas, Pengaruh

PENGEMBANGAN MEDIA MOBILE LEARNING DENGAN APLIKASI SCHOOLOGY PADA PEMBELAJARAN GEOGRAFI MATERI HIDROSFER KELAS X SMA NEGERI 1 KARANGANYAR Rani Dwi Juniarti 1*)Sarwono2)Danang Endarto2) 1) Mahasiswa S1 Pendidikan Geografi FKIP Universitas Sebelas Maret2) Dosen Pendidikan Geografi FKIP Universitas Sebelas Maret*) E-mail : ranidwijuniarti2582@gmail.comABSTRACTThe purpose of this research are to develop mobile learning instructional media using schoology application of hydrosphere material and determine the feasibility of mobile learning instructional media using schoology applications of hydrosphere The method that applied on this research was research and development (R&D) using  Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation and Evaluation (ADDIE) models modified by Molenda. Subjects of this research  are  media experts, material experts and 47 students as respondents. Data obtained from validation assessment of sheet material experts and media experts, and learner? assessment, interview, test and documentation. The data analysis technique used is descriptive qualitative analysis.The stages in this development of research into five steps, including: (1) Analysis (2) Design (3) Development (4) Implementation (5) Evaluation. The results of research are mobile learning instructional media using schoology applications is proferly used for geography instructional in X grade Senior High School based on media expert?s estimation through score 4 (good) on any aspect mode, ie aspects of instructional design, interface design aspects and aspects of expediency. Based on material expert?s estimation got score 4 (good) in aspects of quality material and score 5 (very good) of the advantage of material aspect. Based on one to one evaluation, small group evaluation and field trial evaluation got score  4 (good)  on all properly criteria aspects. The properness of this media is also supported by an increase in the study of students seen from the average value of field trials learners during pre-test was 51.26 and the average post-test score was 79.31. From these data it can be seen that the increase occurred learners' learning outcomes with a 28.05 percentage of 54.72%.Keywords: Mobile learning, Schoology, Hydrosphere, Properness

Abstract

ABSTRACTThis study is aimed to (1) know about the landslide zonation in Jlantah Upperland Karanganyar Regency 2014, (2) know the type of landslide in Jlantah Upperland Karanganyar Regency 2014, (3) know some mitigation steps for landlisdes phenomenons in Jlantah Upperland Karanganyar Regency 2014, (4) make an implementation On A Base Competencies For Analyzed Relationship Between Human and Environment As A Result Of Pedosfer and Lytosfer Dynamics at Main Principal on The Effect of Exogens For Humanity Process : For a Senior High School Grade X.This study use descriptive method with landunit as the unit analysis and organized with survey on a fields. Landunit are part of the land with similar land characteristics of geology, soils, slope and land use. Overlaying of these characteristics produced The Landunit Map, consist of 28 landunits, which the main study populations. Sampling Techniques with purposive sampling. Data collecting in this study done by field observations, interviews, laboratory test and documentation anlysis. Data Analysis Techniques with a qualitatives analysis with Analytical Hierarrchy Process (AHP) to get the vulnerability of landslide zonation in Jlantah Upperland, analyzed landlslide types with field observations to make mitigation steps of landlside phenomenons with the type of landslided on Jlantah Upperland.Based on data analysis, the conclusion of this research are : (1) Jlantah Upperland has 3 classes of vulnerabilities landslide, non vulnerable lanslide class, semi vulnerable landlside class and vulnerable landslide class, (2) Jlantah Upperland has 3 type of landslides, there was a translation landslide, debris avalances and earth flows, (3) The mitigation steps done by tehniqal ways and vegetational ways based on identified landslide types in Jlantah Upperland, (4) Final results of this research could use for Geographics Studies Media at Main Principal on The Effect of Exogens For Humanity Process : For a Senior High School Grade X.Keywords : Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP), landslide types, mitigation steps, studies media

Subjects were media experts, materials experts, educators, and learners. The technique of sampling used is proportional random sampling and data collection instruments using sheet media expert validation, materials specialists, educators, trial questionnaires, observations, pre-test and post-test and documentation.The results of this study are portal-based e-Learning Geography Moodle to enhance the ability of networking and spatial abilities obtain good results and declared unfit for use. The effectiveness of the use of E-Learning Portal-based on Geography Moodle to improve Networking obtain good results measured from the increased active learners in the class of liveliness by 25% (+ 9) of the amount students increased to 58.3% (+ 20 people) and more effective than the use of E-Learning Portal-based Edmodo Geography active learners which improves 38.4% (+ 15 people). Effectiveness of E-Learning Portal-based on Geography Moodle to enhance the Spatial Ability based on Independent Sample T Test shows t arithmetic 5.376 and  t table  1.66 (5% significance level) so it is more effective to use in the learning process.Keywords: E-Learning, Moodle, Spatial Skills

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah (1) mengetahui persebaran Sekolah Dasar; dan(2) mengetahui pemenuhan sarana dan prasarana Sekolah Dasar di Kecamatan Karanggayam, Kabupaten Kebumen Tahun 2014.Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian survei, jenis penelitian survei dipilih untuk mendapatkan data yang lebih banyak terdapat di lapangan dan dapat melihat fakta-fakta mengenai variabel yang akan diteliti. Unit analisisnya adalah administrasi dengan pengambilan sampel yang dilakukan secara selektif, populasinya adalah seluruh SDN di Kecamatan Karanggayam dan sampelnya adalah 15 unit SDN yang diambil dengan pertimbangan tertentu. Pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini yaitu observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah teknik analisis peta dan menggunakan model gravitasi, analisis pemenuhan sarana dan prasarana pendidikan dari segi kualitas dan kuantitas serta analisis data sekunder.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) persebaran SD di Kecamatan Karanggayam memiliki pola persebaran yang dilihat dari nilai gravitasi antara 2 wilayah, hasilnya menunjukkan nilai gravitasi tertinggi yaitu nilai dari interaksi antara Desa Kajoran dengan Desa Karangtengah yang memiliki nilai interaksi sebesar 668.888,9 dan nilai gravitasi terendah yaitu nilai dari interaksi antara Desa Pagebangan dengan Desa Kajoran yang memiliki nilai interaksi hanya sebesar 3.197,86.(2) pemenuhan sarana dan prasarana pendidikan dari segi kualitas mayoritas sudah baik, hanya sedikit yang rusak ringan dan rusak berat. Sedangkan dari segi kuantitas, untuk kelas keterjangkauan yang sangat mudah terjangkau dan mudah terjangkau pemenuhannya sudah memenuhi, tetapi untuk kelas keterjangkauan sedang, sulit terjangkau, dan sangat sulit terjangkau pemenuhannya kurang memenuhi.Simpulan penelitian ini adalah (1) Persebaran SDN di Kecamatan Karanggayam memiliki pola persebaran yang dilihat dari nilai gravitasi yang ditunjukkan dengan adanya interaksi antara kedua wilayah yang dihitung dengan menggunakan model gravitasi.(2) Dalam pemenuhan sarana dan prasarana pendidikan yang ditunjukkan dari segi kuantitas, hasilnya menujukkan bahwa semakin sulit terjangkau lokasi sebuah SDN maka semakin kurang memenuhi sarana dan prasarana pendidikan yang dimiliki oleh sekolah tersebut. Namun, dari segi kualitas tidak begitu mempengaruhi. Kata kunci:Persebaran  SDN di Kecamatan Karanggayam, Pemenuhan Sarana dan Prasarana Pendidikan SD baik dari segi Kualitas maupun Kuantitas

Surakarta: Faculty of Teacher Training and Education. Sebelas Maret University.Januari 2013. The aims of this research are to identify the relationship between (1). Education level and income level. (2). Landuse and income level. (3). Education level and landuse with level income. This research is using a correlational descriptive method. The population of research is all farmers in Subdistrict of Jumantono for about 18.786 people. The technique sampling is using proportional random sampling technique for about 165 people. The data collection technique of education level variable, landuse, and income level are using quisionaire and observation. The analyze technique is using correlation technique and double regretion analyzis. Based on the result of this research can be concluded that there is no relationship between formal education level and income level. (2) Landuse has not significant relationship with income level. (3) Education level and landuse have not significant relationship with income level.

ABSTRACTSeptiana Eka Kurniawati.THE APPLICATION OF THE MODEL OF ARTICULATION TO IMPROVE THE LEARNING PROCESS AND RESULT IN SOCIAL SCIENCE WITH THE TOPIC OF DISCUSSION OF HYDROSPHERE OF THE STUDENTS IN GRADE VII-H OF STATE JUNIOR SECONDARY SCHOOL 3 OF KARTASURA IN ACADEMIC YEAR 2013/2014. Skripsi: The Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Sebelas Maret University, Surakarta, July 2014.The objective of this research is to investigate the improvement of learning process and result in Social Science with the topic of discussion of Hydrosphere through the use of the cooperative learning model of the articulation type of the students in Grade VII-H of State Junior Secondary School 3 of Kartasura in Academic Year 2013/2014.This research used the classroom action research. Its subjects were all of the students in Grade VII-H as many as 30. The sources of data of research were the students and their teacher. The data were gathered through in-depth interview, observation, documentation or archives, and test. They were validated by using the method triangulation, and analyzed by using the descriptive comparative technique of analysis. The result of research shows that the application of the cooperative learning model of the articulation type can improve the quality of learning process and result. There is an improvement in both variables from the initial condition prior to the treatment to the final condition following the treatment in Cycle II. The improvement of the learning process from the initial condition to Cycle I has not achieved the performance indicator stipulated, but it is fulfilled in Cycle II. The learning result of the students improves significantly. Prior to the treatment, their average score is 72, and following the treatment it becomes 75 in Cycle I and 78 in Cycle II respectively with the learning completeness of 100%. Thus, the cooperative learning model of the articulation type can improve the quality of learning process and result of the students in Grade VII-H of State Junior Secondary School 3 of Kartasura. Keywords: Articulation Model Learning.

Abstract

ABSTRACTThe research is aimed to : (1) to know sub-class level of actual land suitability for coffee and rubber plant, (2) know sub-class of potential land suitability for coffee and rubber plant, and (3) know coffee and rubber productivity at Jambangan Watersheed in Karanganyar Regency.Based on the result of the research it can concluded as follows: (1) there are 9 subclass actual land suitability for coffe plant, those are : S2 w,r,f,n,s/m,e (0,51%), S3n(7,59%), S3r,n(5,24%), N1r(12,84%), N1r,s/m(14,99%), N1r,e(1,63%), N2r (9,59%), N2s/m (12,45%) and N2s/m,e(0,9%); There are 12 subclass actual land suitability for peanut plant, those are: S3w,n(12,47%), S3w,r,n(8,61%), S3t,w,n (0,84%), N1r (7,70%), N1r,e(1,63%), N1r,s/m (20,77%) ,N2s/m(0,66%), N2w (19,79%), N2s/m,e(0,90%), N2w,r(2,51%), N2w,s/m(10.46%), and N2w,r,s/m(4,90%); (2) Potential land suitability for coffe plant with a medium management level produced eight land suitability subclass include: S2r,s/m, S2w,r,f,n, S2w,r,f,n,s/m, S3r,n; S3r,s/m, S3r,n,s/m, S3r,s/m,e and N1s/m; Potential land suitability for coffe plant with a high management level prodused nine land suitability subclass include S2s/m, S2w,r,f,n, S2w,r,f,n,s/m, S3s/m, S3r,n, S3n,s/m, S3 r,s/m, N1s/m and N1r,s/m; Potential land suitability for rubber plant with medium management level produced 7 subclass suitability include: S2t,w,n, S3r, S3t, S3w,r,n, S3t,w,r,n,s/m,e, N1s/m, N1r,s/m; and Potential land suitability for rubber plant with a high management level prodused six land suitability subclass include: S2t,n, S2w,r,n,s/m, S3t, S3w,r,n, S3t,w,n,s/m and N1s/m.(3) Highest productivity of coffe plants get on land suitability subclass N1r,s/m which is 896 kgs/Ha/year and have the lowest productivity of coffe plants get on land suitability subclass N2s/m is 47 kgs/Ha/year; Highest productivity of Rubber plants get on land suitability subclass S3w,n which is 2137 Kgs/Ha/year and have the lowest productivity of rubber plants get on land suitability subclass N2w,s/m is1618 kgs/Ha/year.Kata kunci : Kesesuaian Lahan, Daerah Aliran Sungai,Tanaman Kopi dan Karet

AN ANALYSIS ON URBAN SPRAWL IN BANYUURIP SUB DISTRICT OF PURWOREJO REGENCY IN 2004-2014) (As Supplement to Learning  Material in Geographical Learning of the twelfth grade of Senior High School in Basic Competency of Analyzing the Distribution Pattern and the spatial interaction between Village and City For Local Economic Development). Thesis, Teacher Training and Education Faculty of Sebelas Maret University. Surakarta. October, 2014.This research aimed (1) to find out the spatial transformation in urban sprawl process in Banyuurip Sub District in 2004-2014; (2) to find out the development of settlement existing in Banyuurip Sub District in 2004-2014; (3) to find out the social transformation occurring in Banyuurip Sub District due to spatial transformation in 2004-2014; and (4) to find out the benefit of current research to geography subject in the twelfth grade.The approach used in this research was the spatial one. This study was a qualitative research and the method used was case study method. Technique of collecting data used included (1) interview, (2) observation/direct observation, and (3) secondary data analysis. The data analysis was carried out using (1) observation on spatial transformation with image interpretation, (2) settlement development, and (3) societal social transformation process.Considering the result of research conducted, it could be concluded that (1) the fiscal spatial development occurring in Banyuurip is the centrifugal horizontal process and the urban sprawl type occurring in this sub district is the jumping one; (2) the settlement width in 2004 was 129,0499 Ha increasing by 1.293% in 2014 to 187,3633 Ha, (3) the social transformation occurring in Banyuurip Sub District characterized by the increase in population number in 9 villages, the increase in the constructed land width by 0.542%, the increase in the number of economic social facility, and the modernization occurring in communication field. (4) The benefit of current research was that it served as supplement to learning material of geography subject for the twelfth grade particularly in the Basic Competency of analyzing the distribution pattern and the spatial interaction between village and city for local economic development.Keywords: Urban Sprawl, Settlement Development, Spatial Transformation, Social Transformation
