Abstract

The objective of this research were (1) To find out the improvement of learning achievement in basic competency of describing living environment conservation in relation to sustainable development using STAD learning method. (2)To find out the improvement of the students? geography learning achievement in the basic competency of describing living environment conservation in relation to sustainable development using STAD learning method. This study was a Classroom Action Research (CAR). The research was conducted in two sicluss. Each siclus consisted of determining the problem focus, planning, acting, monitoring, analyzing and reflecting. The subject of research was the XI IPS 2 Graders of SMA Negeri 5 Surakarta, consisting of 30 students. The data source derived from learning process in the classroom, result of evaluation test in siclus I, result of evaluation test in second siclus, geography learning motivation questionnaire of siclus I, geography learning motivation questionnaire of second siclus, and secondary data. Technique of collecting data employed were observation, document study, geography learning achievement test, and geography learning motivation questionnaire. The procedure of research used was self-reflection spiral model. The result of research showed: (1) the learning using Student Teams Achievement Divisions method could improve the geography learning motivation in the basic competency of describing living environment conservation in relation to sustainable development in second siclus. (2) The learning using Student Teams Achievement Divisions could improve the geography learning achievement in the basic competency of describing living environment conservation in relation to sustainable development in second siclus. The populations in this research are students of the XI Social in SMA 1 Karanganyar in the academic year of 2013/2014 as much as four class. Samples was taken by using Simple Random Sampling technique as much as two class. The Assessment method was used to collect the students? activity achievement data was taken by using observation meanwhile collect the student?s cognitive achievement data. One tail t-test was used as the technique of analysis data to examine the hypothesis.Based on the research result, it can be concluded that the implementation of Jigsaw method give a more effective in students? activity and achievement  compare with STAD method both learning activity and cognitive above material of flora and fauna distribution. It was proven by the calculation result which used one tail t-test with the significant degree 5%. Where the result of one tail t-test for students? learning activity and cognitive learning achievements of each are tcalculate = 2,653 > ttable = 1,67 and tcalculate = 4,192 > ttable = 1,67. Key Words: Jigsaw, STAD, Learning Activity, Learning Achievement.

Abstract

ABSTRACTThe aim of this research are to: (1) know the stream direction of shallowgroundwater in the area of sugar palm flour industry at Daleman, Tulung, Klaten in2012. (2) know the quality of shallow groundwater to drink in the area of sugar palmflour in Daleman, Tulung, Klaten in 2012. (3) know the appropriatness of the shallowgroundwater to drink in the area of sugar palm flour in Daleman, Tulung, Klaten in2012.This research used descriptive qualitative method. analysis method. Thepopulation of the study is the entire shallow groundwater in the area of sugar palmflour industry in Daleman. The sampling technique used in this study is purposivesampling.Based on the result of the research, it can be conclused that: (1) The streamdirection of shallow groundwater in the area of sugar palm flour industry atDaleman,Tulung, Klaten 2012 goes to Bendo river. (2) The quality of shallowgroundwater from the well in the area of sugar palam flour industry atDaleman,Tulung, Klaten 2012is classified into 2 classes of water quality, those arewater quality of C class (medium) which is contaminated in middle level consists ofthree sample groundwater in Bendo; as well as the water quality of D class (bad) whichis contaminated in high level, consists of one sample groundwater in Margoluwih, twosample groundwater in Tuban and three sample groundwater in Bendo. Abstract

ABSTRAK Lutfihana, ANALISIS SPASIAL MINIMARKET DI KABUPATEN BANYUMAS TAHUN 2011.Skripsi.Surakarta : Fakultas Keguruan dan Ilmu Pendidikan. Universitas Sebelas Maret. Surakarta, Juni 2014.Tujuan penelitian ini adalah : (1) Mengetahui pola distribusi spasial minimarket di Kabupaten Banyumas tahun 2011, (2) Mengetahui kesesuaian lokasi minimarket secara teorities dan yuridis di Kabupaten Banyumas tahun 2011, (3) Mengetahui pengaruh minimarket di Kabupaten Banyumas terhadap perkambangan pasar tradisional.Sesuai dengan tujuan penelitian, maka penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian deskriptif. Populasi penelitian adalah minimarket di Kabupaten Banyumas. Teknik pengumpulan data dengan pengukuran lapangan, wawancara dan kuesioner untuk mengetahui pengaruh minimarket terhadap pasar tradisional, dan teknik dokumentasi. Teknik analisis yang digunakan adalah analisis tetangga terdekat, analisis buffer, analisis lokasi minimarket, dan analisis tabel silang.Hasil penelitian ini adalah : (1) Pola distribusi minimarket di Kabupaten Banyumas adalah mengelompok, dari jumlah keseluruhan minimarket di Kabupaten Banyumas adalah 106 dan tersebar di 23 kecamatan (nilai T mendekati 0). Pengelompokkan terjadi di Kecamatan Purwokerto Selatan, Purwokerto Utara, Purwokerto Barat, dan Purwokerto Timur. Distribusi minimarket paling banyak di Kecamatan Purwokerto Selatan yaitu 15 minimarket dan paling sedikit di Kecamatan Kebasen, Kecamatan Cilongok, dan Kecamatan Sumbang yaitu 1 minimarket. Terdapat 4 kecamatan yang tidak ada minimarket yaitu Kecamatan Somagede, Kecamatan Kalibagor, Kecamatan Purwojati, dan Kecamatan Gumelar (2) Semua minimarket di Kabupaten Banyumas telah sesuai dengan faktor pemilihan lokasi. Menurut Perda Kabupaten Banyumas No. 3 tentang Penataan dan Pembinaan Pasar Tradisional, Pusat Perbelanjaan dan Toko Modern, terdapat 48 (45%) minimarket di Kabupaten Banyumas yang tidak sesuai dengan Pasal 9 yaitu jarak minimarket kurang dari 500 meter. Terdapat 23 (21,7%) minimarket telah melanggar Pasal 17 yaitu jam buka selama 24 jam dan terdapat 37 (34,9%) minimarket telah melanggar Pasal 22 yaitu tidak memiliki Izin Usaha Toko Modern (IUTM). Hanya 25 (23,58%) minimarket yang memenuhi syarat lokasi dan Perda Kabupaten Banyumas sekaligus, sedangkan sisanya 81 (76,42%) minimarket melakukan pelanggaran terhadap Perda. (3) Minimarket berpengaruh terhadap pedagang eceran kecil di sekitar minimarket, tetapi secara umum tidak berpengaruh terhadap pasar tradisional karena barang-barang yang dijual berbeda dengan minimarket. Kata kunci : minimarket, kesesuaian lokasi, pasar tradisional, pengaruhABSTRACT Lutfihana, SPATIAL ANALYSIS OF MINIMARKET IN BANYUMAS REGENCY AT 2011. Surakarta, June 2014.The research aims at providing : (1) The distribution pattern of minimarket in Banyumas regency at 2011, (2) The location suitability according to the theoretical and juridical in Banyumas regency at 2011, (3) the impact of minimarket toward traditional market development in Banyumas regency.Descriptive research method was applied in accordance with the aims of the research. Research population is the minimarkets in Banyumas regency. Data collection techniques are field measuring, interview, questionnaire, and documentation to find out the impact of minimarket toward traditional market. Applied techniques of analysis are nearest neighbor analysis, buffer analysis, mini market location analysis, and cross table analysis.The result of this research reveals : (1) the pattern of minimarket distribution in Banyumas regency are formed into group, from total 106 minimarkets in Banyumas regency are spread in 23 sub districts (T value approach 0). The grouping occurred in South Purwokerto regency, North Purwokerto regency, West Purwokerto regency, and East Purwokerto regency. North Purwokerto have the highest minimarket distribution as many as 15 minimarkets. Kebasen regency, Cilongok regency, and Sumbang regency have the lowest distribution as many as 1 minimarket. There are 4 regencies with no minimarket, they are Somagede, Kalibagor, Purwojati, and Gumelar.  (2) All Minimarkets in Banyumas are appropriate for the location selection factor. According to the local regulation no. 3 of Banyumas regency regarding arrangement and development of traditional market, shopping center and modern shop, there are 48 (45%) minimarkets in Banyumas which do not comply with clause no. 9 since the distance of minimarkets is less than 500 meters. There are 23 (21,7%) minimarkets which do not comply clause no. 17 since open for 24 hours, and there are 37 (34%) minimarkets which do not comply clause no. 22 because they do not have ?Izin Usaha Toko Modern? (IUTM). Only 25 (23,58%) minimarkets which comply with both location requirement and local regulation of Banyumas regency, while the rest 81 (76,42%) minimarkets violate the local regulation. (3) Minimarket has impact toward retailer near it. However, in general, minimarket does not have impact toward traditional market because the commodities are different.Keyword : minimarket, location suitability, traditional market, impact

Abstract

ABSTRACTThe objective of research is to find out the effect of: (1) learning style on achievement motivation on the living environment material learning Achievement in the XI Social Science Graders of SMA Al-Islam I Surakarta in the school year of 2011/2012, (2) on the living environment material learning Achievement in the XI Social Science Graders of SMA Al-Islam I Surakarta in the school year of 2011/2012, and (3) learning style and achievement motivation on the living environment material learning Achievement in the XI Social Science Graders of SMA Al-Islam I Surakarta in the school year of 2011/2012. This study employed an ex-post facto method. The population was all XI Social Science graders of SMA Al Islam 1 Surakarta in the school year of 2011/2012 consisting of 176 students. The sampling technique used was random sampling technique consisting of 72 students. Technique of collecting data used for learning style and achievement motivation variables was questionnaire with likert scale. For data on student learning result, documentary technique was used. Technique of analyzing data used was a multiple regression analysis with dummy variable.Keyword : Learning Style, Achievement Motivation, Material Learning

Pengaruh Perubahan Penutup Lahan Terhadap Debit Aliran Permukaan dan Arahan Konservasi Lahan di Sub Das Cacaban Tahun 2001 dan 2013 (Implementasi Dalam Pembelajaran Geografi Pada Kompetensi Dasar Menganalisis Hubungan Antara Manusia Dengan Lingkungan Sebagai Akibat Dari Dinamika  Hidrosfer). Skripsi, Fakultas Keguruan dan Ilmu Pendidikan Universitas Sebelas Maret. Desember 2014.Tujuan penelitian ini adalah (1) mengetahui luas perubahan penutup lahan yang terjadi di Sub DAS Cacaban  tahun 2001 dan 2013 (2) mengetahui pengaruh perubahan penutup lahan terhadap debit aliran permukaan, (3) menentukan arahan konservasi lahan untuk mengurangi besarnya aliran permukaan, (4) membuat suplemen bahan pembelajaran Geografi pada kompetensi dasar Menganalisis Hubungan Antara Manusia Dengan Lingkungan Sebagai Akibat Dari Dinamika  Hidrosfer.Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kualitatif dengan menggunakan metode survei. Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah seluruh satuan lahan  Sub DAS Cacaban tahun 2001 dan 2013. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan purposive sampling untuk sampel satuan lahan. Teknik pengumpulan data meliputi observasi, dokumentasi, wawancara, dan uji laboratorium. Teknik analisis data menggunakan metode Cook?s sehingga diketahui debit aliran permukaan  tahun 2001 dan 2013 yang kemudian dibandingkan besarannya untuk mengetahui pengaruh perubahan penutup lahan terhadap debit aliran permukaan serta arahan konservasi lahan.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa : (1) Pada tahun 2001 dan 2013 perkebunan campuran dan ladang merupakan penutup lahan yang paling banyak mengalami perubahan, yaitu  perkebunan campuran berkurang 219,01 Ha ( 7,62 %) dan berubah menjadi ladang  dengan luas 217,46 Ha pada tahun 2013. (2) Dinamika penutup lahan menyebabkan  peningkatan luas lahan yang masuk dalam kelas debit rata-rata sedang dan sangat tinggi. Lahan yang masuk kelas debit rata-rata  sedang  bertambah 498,8 Ha dan kelas sangat tinggi bertambah 746,6 Ha. (3) Terdapat 4 arahan konservasi lahan, yaitu konservasi A, B, C, dan E. Konservasi A berupa teras bangku, teras gulud dengan budidaya tanaman semusim maksimal 75% dan tanaman tahunan minimal 25%. Konservasi B berupa teras bangku, budidaya lorong, pagar hidup, silvipastura, tanaman penutup tanah, rorak, strip rumput atau strip tanaman alami dengan budidaya tanaman semusim maksimal 50% dan tanaman tahunan minimal 50%. Konservasi C berupa teras individu, rorak, budidaya lorong, pagar hidup, tanaman penutup tanah dengan budidaya tanaman semusim maksimal 25% dan tanaman tahunan minimal 75%. Konservasi E berupa teras individu, teras kebun dengan budidaya tanaman semusim maksimal 0% dan tanaman tahunan minimal 100%. (4) Hasil penelitian ini berupa  bahan ajar Geografi pada Kompetensi Dasar Menganalisis Hubungan Antara Manusia Dengan Lingkungan Sebagai Akibat Dari Dinamika  Hidrosfer.  Kata Kunci: Penutup Lahan, Debit Aliran Permukaan, Metode Cook?s, Konservasi Lahan.

The validity of the data is measured using the techniques of triangulation : triangulation method and triangulation observer. The data analysis techniques used are qualitative data analysis techniques and quantitative data analysis techniques.The results of this research indicate that based on the observation sheet, the average percentages of the learning process achievement in the classroom of each aspect are : The teamwork in the first cycle is 61.33% and 81.33% in the second cycle. The interest and enthusiasm of students in the first cycle is 65.33% and 88% in the second cycle. The motivation of learners on the first cycle is 69.33% and 80% in the second cycle. The test result of students in the first cycle is 48.4% over the KKM, while in the second cycle it is 87.1% over the KKM.  Keyword: Project Based Learning, the quality of procees and learning outcomes, curriculum 2013.

ANALISIS KUALITAS AIR PADA SISTEM PENYEDIAAN AIR BERSIH SEDERHANA (SIPAS) UNTUK KEBUTUHAN AIR DOMESTIK DI KECAMATAN BOBOTSARI KABUPATEN PURBALINGGA TAHUN 2014 (Implementasi untuk Suplemen Bahan Ajar Geografi SMA Kelas X Semester 2 pada Materi Pokok Perairan Darat dan Potensinya). Skripsi, Fakultas Keguruan dan Ilmu Pendidikan Universitas Sebelas Maret Surakarta. Oktober 2014.Tujuan penelitian ini adalah (1) untuk mengetahui teknis pelaksanaan SIPAS di Kecamatan Bobotsari, (2) untuk mengetahui tingkat kebutuhan air domestik di Kecamatan Bobotsari, (3) untuk mengetahui kualitas air pada SIPAS di Kecamatan Bobotsari (4) untuk menghasilkan suplemen bahan ajar Geografi SMA Kelas X berupa modul pembelajaran geografi.Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif kualitatif dengan analisis keruangan. Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah seluruh pengelola, pelanggan, dan sumber air SIPAS Kecamatan Bobotsari. Teknik pengambilan sampel adalah purposive sampling untuk sampel pengelola dan sumber air, random sampling untuk sampel pelanggan SIPAS. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah observasi lapangan, wawancara, uji laboratorium, dan dokumentasi. Validasi data menggunakan teknik triangulasi sumber. Teknik analisis data untuk mengetahui teknis pelaksanaan SIPAS adalah deskriptif, untuk kebutuhan air domestik dan kualitas air SIPAS menggunakan metode matching dengan pedoman Standar Nasional Indonesia dan Permenkes No 492 Tahun 2010.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) Susunan pengelola SIPAS terdiri dari ketua, sekretaris, bendahara, dan petugas teknis. SIPAS dikelola oleh masyarakat dengan sukarela. Terhitung Mei 2014 terdapat 618 pelanggan SIPAS di Kecamatan Bobotsari. (2) Pengukuran tingkat kebutuhan air domestik menghasilkan Kecamatan Bobotsari memiliki rata-rata penggunaan air sebesar 127, 88 liter/orang/hari yang sesuai dengan Standar Nasional Indonesia yakni 130 liter/orang/hari untuk daerah pedesaan. (3) Uji analisis laboratorium menghasilkan bahwa Desa Limbasari, Desa Pakuncen, dan Desa Gunungkarang memiliki kualitas air di bawah baku mutu. Di Desa Palumbungan Wetan diketahui parameter ammonia sangat tinggi yakni sebesar 5,315 mg/l sehingga perlu dipertimbangkan lebih lanjut oleh pengelola. (4) Hasil penelitian diimplementasikan sebagai bahan ajar di sekolah berupa modul pembelajaran geografi SMA kelas X semester 2 pada materi pokok perairan darat dan potensinya. Kata Kunci : Sistem Penyediaan Air Bersih Sederhana (SIPAS), Tingkat Kebutuhan Air Domestik, Kualitas Air Bersih, Modul Pembelajaran Geografi

Muh. Ario Bayu P. K5407033. SPATIAL ANALYSIS OF BASE TRANSCEIVER STATION (BTS) IN SURAKARTA 2012.Thesis, Surakarta:Teacher Training and Education Faculty. Sebelas Maret University. The objectives of research are: (1)To know the BTS spatial distribution pattern of Surakarta in 2012, (2) To know the signal?s range of BTS of Surakarta in 2012,(3)To know the characteristic of user mobile cellular phone on Surakarta 2012. The method used is a descriptive method.Population of this research is the all of BTS tower unit in Surakarta.The sampling technique used ofmobile cellular phone user was multistage random sampling obtaining 150 respondents were taken from different operators.The number of the each operator?s correspondents is based on the percentage of the number of BTS. This research is using primary data and secondary data. The interviews and questioners are the primary data since the documentation study for the secondary.The technique of data analysis are map analysis, nearest neighbour analysis and crossed-table analysis. This research conclude: (1)Spatial distribution of BTS tower of Surakarta in 2012 are majority located in Banjarsari, 67 units or 36,41% of the total number of BTS tower influenced by high population, wide area,and some important facilities which located in here. Most of BTS unit in Surakarta located in flat area. Distribution pattern of BTS in Surakarta is close to random with T=0,5989, (2)The signal range of BTS in Surakarta is about 1 kilometer per unit. It?s depicted from the signal range of BTS that available to cover all of Surakarta?s district, although we still can find blankspot area in several places. Considering the BTS distribution in Surakarta that close to each other and more over the existence of different BTS operator in one tower, we cab conclude that the main street and central of Surakarta became the most valuable area of celluler operator (3)The characteristic of the cell phone users in are majority graduated from senior high school with the age 15-24 year sold, income Rp 500.001,00 ? Rp 1.000.000,00 and profession of the cell phone users as private member. Beside those varieties, price of the service is still become the main consideration for people in choosing operator.

Abstract

ABSTRACTThe objectives of this research are to investigate: (1) the preparedness of Primary School teachers in Sayung sub-district to deal with inundation disaster; (2) the preparedness of Primary School students in Sayung sub-district to deal with inundation disaster; (3) the preparedness of Primary School institutions in Sayung sub-district to deal with inundation disaster; and (4) the preparedness of communities of Primary Schools in relation to spatial analysis of schools in coastal area in Sayung sub-district. This research used the descriptive qualitative research method. Its population was communities of 8 State Primary Schools exposed to inundation in Sayung sub-district. The samples of research were State Primary Schools in Bedono, Sriwulan, Timbulsloko, and Surodadi villages exposed to inundation, teachers, school institutions, and students. They were taken by using the snowball sampling technique. The data of research were collected through in-depth interview, observation, and documentation. The validity of data used triangulate. They were analyzed by using the cognitive test and attitude scale of teachers, students, and school institutions to deal with the inundation disaster. The results of cognitive test and attitude scale were to classify the preparedness of teachers, students, school institutions, and communities of Primary Schools to deal with inundation disaster. The results of research are as follows: 1) One Primary School has teachers with the high-category preparedness to deal with inundation disaster, and seven schools have teachers with medium-category preparedness to deal with inundation disaster. 2) Three primary schools have students with the high-category preparedness to deal with inundation disaster, and five schools have the medium-category preparedness to deal with inundation disaster. 3) Two school institutions have the high-category preparedness to deal with inundation disaster, and six school institutions have the medium-category preparedness to deal with inundation disaster. 4) Four communities of Primary Schools have the high-category preparedness to deal with inundation disaster, and other four communities of Primary Schools have the medium-category preparedness to deal with inundation disaster. The differentiator of preparedness of one school from other schools is human resources. Keywords: Inundation, preparedness, and school
