Abstract

This article was written to determine the views of the Head of the Religious Affairs Office (KUA) in Jombang Regency regarding the status and rights of children born from unregistered polygamous marriages, as well as the implementation of legal protection. This study used a qualitative method with a case study approach in three subdistricts, namely Mojowarno, Jogoroto, and Ngoro. Data collection techniques included interviews, documentation, and observation, with descriptive qualitative data analysis techniques. The results of the study show that the head of the KUA considers the registration of marriages to be important as a condition for ensuring legal certainty for children born of siri polygamous marriages. Children born from siri marriages tend to only have civil relations with their mothers, while other rights such as inheritance and identity are often hampered due to the absence of legal evidence. The head of the KUA stated that marriages without registration have an impact on the status of the child's lineage, which can only be attributed to the mother, and this causes administrative difficulties and weak legal protection. In addition, many people still misunderstand siri marriages, without considering their validity in terms of sharia and formal legal aspects of the state. This study recommends increasing public legal awareness and synergy between religious law and state law to comprehensively guarantee children's rights.

Abstract

The role of Akidah Akhlak teachers is to make all religious efforts to develop religious potential in order to achieve the objectives of Islamic Education, namely to develop students' religious potential to become good people with good character, time discipline, and a sense of responsibility. This article describes the role of Akidah Akhlak teachers in character building of students at MTs Thoriqul Huda Catakgayam Mojowarno Jombang. This research is qualitative field research, specifically descriptive qualitative research, with data collection techniques including interviews, observation, and documentation. Data analysis was then conducted using descriptive qualitative analysis. The results of the study found that the role of Akidah Akhlak teachers in character building for students includes: setting an example for students, encouraging religious activities, giving advice, and imposing sanctions or punishments on students who violate the rules. The characteristics possessed by MTs Thoriqul Huda students include: religious, disciplined, polite, responsible, fond of reading, and honest. In the process of character building, supporting and inhibiting factors for teachers in building student character were found. Among the supporting factors for Akidah Akhlak teachers in character building are cooperation between Akidah Akhlak teachers and the entire madrasah community. Meanwhile, the hindering factor is the different environments of each student, making it difficult for the madrasah to supervise each student when they are outside the madrasah.

Abstract

This article discusses the integration of improving student learning achievement in SKI subjects through educational videos at MTs Assholach Pasuruan. This research was conducted by interviewing the head of the madrasah, SKI subject teachers, and students. Data was collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. This research is a qualitative study using a case study approach, with data analysis conducted from the time the researcher determined the focus of the study until the research report was compiled. There are three stages in qualitative research analysis that occur simultaneously, including data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing, or what can be referred to as verification. The results of the study show that the use of video media in SKI learning at MTs Assholach Pasuruan has proven to be effective in improving student learning achievement. Planning was carried out collaboratively, implementation used participatory methods, and evaluation showed an increase in student interest, understanding, and religious character. Video media not only facilitates understanding of the material but also shapes critical, active, and Islamic attitudes, although improvements in group management are still needed.

Abstract

The pantun tradition in the Sambas Malay community serves not only as a form of storytelling but also as an educational medium rich in moral and religious values. This study aims to identify and analyze the internalization of Islamic educational values contained in Sambas Malay wedding pantuns. The study used a descriptive qualitative approach with content analysis techniques on wedding pantuns collected through observation and documentation. The results indicate that wedding pantuns contain values such as faith, noble character, responsibility, patience, gratitude, and the importance of maintaining marital harmony. These values are passed down from generation to generation and form part of the formation of Islamic character in the community.

Abstract

Learning is a complex and lifelong process that occurs through individual interaction with the environment. This interaction involves various elements, such as students, teachers, principals, teaching materials, and learning resources and facilities. The development of science and technology requires updates in the use of technology in the learning process. Teachers are expected to be able to use various available learning media, as well as have the skills to develop media if the required media is not yet available. In the context of Islamic Religious Education (IRE), the use of learning media is influenced by several factors, including the teacher's educational background, teaching experience, professional education and training, and the availability of facilities. This study used a descriptive qualitative research method with data collection techniques in the form of observation, interviews, and documentation. This method was used to gain an in-depth understanding of the factors that influence teachers' use of PAI learning media. The results of the study show that teacher competence, professional experience, and facility support are the main determinants of the effectiveness of learning media use. Thus, improving teachers' ability to utilize and develop learning media is essential to support a more optimal PAI learning process.
