Abstract

This study examines the formation of a sakinah mawaddah warahmah family in the perspective of Islamic education as an effort to create a harmonious and happy family in this world and the hereafter. The study uses the library research method with data sources from relevant academic literature, analyzed through a descriptive-analytical and deductive approach with philosophical, socio-historical, and psychological perspectives. The results of the study indicate that the formation of a sakinah mawaddah warahmah family character is the responsibility of all family members based on faith and piety to Allah SWT and the example of the Prophet Muhammad SAW. The objectives of family formation in Islam include protecting the family from the torment of hell, worshiping Allah SWT, forming noble character, and nurturing family members especially children to have individual, social, and professional strength. A sakinah mawaddah warahmah family is characterized by peace of mind, love, and the mercy of Allah SWT, which is manifested through increased faith and piety, cooperation between husband and wife, and the instilling of values of honesty, discipline, deliberation, and love. Therefore, it is important to instill these values from an early age, especially for the younger generation before they enter family life.

Abstract

Education is the process of educating, nurturing, and shaping students to have noble character and intellectual intelligence. Character education plays an important role in the Indonesian education curriculum, especially in the development of Islamic teachings as reflected in the Nahdlatul Ulama (NU) Constitution. This study aims to determine the planning, implementation, and evaluation of Aswaja learning as moral education at El Wahid Tembelang Islamic Elementary School in Jombang. This study uses a qualitative method with a descriptive design through field research, with data in the form of spoken and written words from observations, interviews, and documentation. The results of the study indicate that Aswaja learning is a form of synergy between the local content of the Jombang Regency Education Office and school policy. The planning of learning refers to the established Competency Standards and Basic Competencies. The implementation of learning is carried out inside and outside the classroom through practical activities. Learning evaluation is carried out continuously through weekly tests, Mid-Semester Assessments (PTS), and Final Semester Assessments (PAS).

Abstract

This article is motivated by the phenomenon of moral degradation among Generation Z students, such as the use of foul language, lack of respect for teachers, truancy, lying, tardiness, smoking, use of cell phones during class, and bullying. One of the efforts made to overcome these problems is through the habit of religious activities at school. This study aims to identify the forms of moral degradation among Generation Z students, the implementation of religious activities, as well as the challenges and solutions in their implementation. The research method used is qualitative with a descriptive design. Data collection techniques included observation, interviews, and documentation, while data validity was tested through extended observation and triangulation. Data analysis was conducted through data condensation, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results of the study indicate that religious activities such as dhuha prayers, group prayers, Quran recitation, and Islamic studies that are carried out routinely and structurally have proven to be effective in character building, improving discipline, and overcoming the moral degradation of Generation Z students
