Abstract

Family planning program is one of effort to reach the prosperity by way giving marriage advise and estranged pregnancy, pregnancy observation, which done by giving drug, installation of appliance and operate action to prevent pregnancy. This Research target is to know the knowledge and attitude illustration of fertile age couple toward family planning program in Public Health Center of Garuda Pekanbaru. This Research Type is descriptive research, the amount the population in this research is Fertile Age Couple in the public Health Center of Garuda Pekanbaru is 14.210 people, and the sample in this research is amounting to 99 people, with the intake sampel technique used by accidental sampling. The research done from the date of 10 July until 8 August 2009 in Public Health Center of Garuda Pekanbaru. Data collecting in this research through spreading questionnaire, data processing with the univarian analysis. Chi-Square analysis results obtained p = 0,000 meaning p <0.05 it can be concluded that the existence of Knowledge Relations and Attitudes of EFA to Family Planning in Garuda Pekanbaru Health Center. Untuk it is expected to health workers to maintain and further increase counseling health about family planning

Abstract

Labor is a natural process that will take place by itself, but delivery to humans at any time is threatened by complications that can harm the mother and her fetus, requiring proper supervision, rescue and services. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship of knowledge and attitude of maternal mother in choosing birth attendant at UPTD Health Benai Year 2014. The design in this research is analytical descriptive with cross sectional study design. Sampling technique in this research using quota sampling technique that is as much as 60 maternal mother. Data analysis used was univariate (central tendency) and bivariate (chi square test). The result showed that there was significant correlation between knowledge (p-value=0,001) and attitudes (p-value = 0,000) of respondents with the selection of maternity maternity assistant in UPTD Health Benai Kuantan Singingi Regency. The implication of this research is expected the respondents more active role in exploring the knowledge about the selection of good labor force of birth so that mother and child mortality

Abstract

Diarrheal disease is a leading cause of death in children under five,There are several factors that cause diarrhea one's behavior. Based on data from 18 health centers in Indragiri Hulu in 2016, one of the health centers with the highest incidence of diarrhea was obtained 110 health centers Lala River toddler has diarrhea of ​​a total of 419 infants with the highest cases in Sungai Lala there were 36 cases. This study aims to determine the factors associated with the incidence of diarrhea in infants in Sungai Lala Lala River Region Public Health Center Indragiri Hulu. This type of quantitative research with cross sectional approach.The study was conducted in Sungai Lala,Mechanical sampling total sampling,Samples of this study amounted to 57 respondents. Data were analyzed by univariate and bivariate.The results showed 70.2% children did not experience diarrhea, as many as 80.7% were exclusively breastfed, the majority of the use of a bottle of milk for infants was 66.7%, more mothers who have poor hand washing habits 40.4% and the majority of clean water is contaminated with 68.4% of respondents. The results of chi square test found no relation of exclusive breastfeeding (p = 0.068) and using contaminated water (p = 0.481) and the incidence of diarrhea in infants. An association use of the bottle (p = 0.019) and handwashing (p = 0.006) and the incidence of diarrhea in infants. It is expected that the mother to be able to maintain the cleanliness of hands before touching food or before feeding infants and use hygienic milk bottles to prevent diarrhea in infants.

Abstract

Leachate water is a liquid containing waste degradation results from polluters. PAC and Aluminum Sulfate coagulant is a big molecular weight that are able to form larger clumps form flok. The purpose of the study to see the difference a lower pH and TSS using PAC and Aluminum Sulfate in water leachate. This research is a true experiment and method using Random Design complete (RAL) with six repetitions. The sample consists of the control group (C) and treatment group (T1, T2, T3). Coagulation-Flocculation is carried out using a PAC and Aluminum Sulfate with dose 1600 mg/L (T1), 2600 mg/L (T2), and 3600 mg/L (T3) for 76 minutes. Each sample is mixed with leachate is one liter and stirred by jar test with a speed of 400 rpm for one minute (stirring quickly) and 150 rpm for 15 minutes (stirring slowly), then it only 60 minutes. After that, the results were compared with a control group. The data were analyzed using kruskal-wallis test. The results showed that Aluminum Sulfate is more effective than PAC in lowering the pH and TSS

Abstract

Quality health services is one of the basic needs of each individual community acquired, health care quality will be felt by the patient if delivery is felt exceed patient expectations. This study aims to assess the level of satisfaction with quality of services pregnant women antenatal care in Primary Health Care Markanding Muaro Jambi. This research is descriptive quantitative method SERVQUAL (Services Quality). The study population was all pregnant women who are still active during their pregnancy were more than twice in Health Center Markanding Muaro Jambi with samples from pregnant women who come to the health center during the study (1 month) is taken by total sampling. Methods of data collection using questionnaires. Data were analyzed with Cartesian Diagram. Based on the research that has been done shows that the satisfaction of patients (pregnant women) to antenatal care services in Health Center Markanding, given the level of conformity between expectation and reality on the dimensions of reliability of 65,6%, the dimension of confidence (assurance) of 69,8%, dimensions of concern (empathy) amounted to 62,1% and the dimensions of direct evidence (tangible) amounted to 69,1%. Priority improved by Cartesian diagram is the ability of midwifes to be responsive resolve patient complaints, attention to complaints of patients and their families, care for patients regardless of social status. most respondents are not satisfied with the services at the health center for antenatal care Markanding Muaro Jambi

Abstract

HIV-AIDS is an infectious disease caused by infection with the Human Immunodeficiency Virus. HIV can be transmitted through sex, blood transfusions, sharing needles and mother-to-child transmission (perinatal). Heterosexual risk factors were the highest, namely 82.8%, followed by homosexuals by 7.4% and perinatal by 4.0%. At Gresik Regency in 2016, was found that the number of HIV sufferers had increased by 29% from 2015. This study aimed to identify the relationship between HIV Stadium and Opportunistic Infection in Pregnant Women At Ibnu Sina General Hospital Gresik. This non-reactive research use analytic cross-sectional design. Sample was taken using total sampling technique. Secondary data were taken since 2013- March 2018 using data collection sheets and analysis using chi-Square test (alpha: 0.05). The results showed there were 29 pregnant women with HIV-AIDS, 96.6% of patients came from Gresik Regency, and 3.4% from outside, the most of age group were > 25-30 years (34.5%), 96.6% of respondents had married, education was mostly high school (58.6%), most respondents (75.9%) had no opportunistic infections, HIV stadium at level asimtomatik reached 51.7% and simtomatik stadium level reach 48.3%. There was a correlation between the stadium of HIV and opportunistic infections with p-value 0.011. So that it needs optimal attention especially the provision of ART therapy and treatment of opportunistic infection in pregnant women

Abstract

Introduction: Asthma in children causes loss of school days, and also causes growth in children. Parents have a responsibility to manage asthma, they need asthma management education for children who can increase their wisdom in managing it. The research objective was to develop a model of asthma management education in children based on beliefs in the concept of the Health Belief Model. Method: quasi-experimental research with 66 respondents, probability sampling method through simple random sampling. Using 3 HBM model development questionnaires belief, threat and behavior. Statistical analysis : using a paired t-test, Mann Whitney test, linear regression adjusted for each variable studied in developing HBM. Results and Analysis : education on trust (p <0.001), confidence in threats (p = 0.001), threats towards behavior (p <0.001), educational influence on behavior (p <0.001). Discussion and Conclusion: Parents' beliefs about their ability to discuss existing problems are very important to overcome recurrence. Increased confidence in skills, increased satisfaction and self-confidence, with an effective increase in good conditions by children with asthma.

Abstract

In the developed nations physiotherapist are autonomously participating in the first line and already they are working in the second line treatment alongside with other professionals and the right for the mass population similar to the goal of the public health. The aim of the study was to sort out the real scenario of the development of physiotherapy services as a part of primary health care services including the knowledge and attitude of the general people. A multistage sampling method was selected for conducting the study in districts hospitals of the Barisal division. Result depicted that among the respondents mean age 36.86 ± 4.558 years and most 33.3% (n= 73) of them were younger age range 21-30 years and interestingly highest 41.55% (n= 91) were graduated with highly significant (x2= 1.196, P= 0.000). 65.3% (n= 143) of patients had knowledge about physiotherapy. Majority of case 41.1% (n= 90) orthopedic (x2= 86.175, P= 0.000) and medical condition stroke ware highest 30.1% (n= 66) statically significant (x2= 1.561, P= 0.000). Due to the awareness maximum, 39.70% (n= 87) came from self-reference and 88.4% (n= 176) received exercise therapy including other electrical modalities. Lowest 8.70% (n= 19) of patient expense > 300 BDT. Treatment right time 60.3% (n= 132). Treatment success rate 69.4% (n= 152). Difficulty to come physiotherapy center 43.8% (n= 96). Some limitation that causes insufficiency in treatment provide; 10.6% patient noted poor timing, 30.7% long witting time, 68.3% (n= 136) unpleasant, 78.9% (n= 157) absence of physiotherapist, 9.5% (n= 19) lack of cooperation. Although that 99.5% patient demand physiotherapy center as close as their range and 60.3% (n=132) satisfied with the treatment. Therefore it is strongly suggested to set up a modern physiotherapy department within the primary health care system with the qualified physiotherapist in community-level also District level hospital

Abstract

Baby village temple Kebonsari sidoarjo many are not exclusively breastfed because most mothers so busy working impaired fine motoric development. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship of exclusive breastfeeding with fine motoric development in infants aged 6-12 months Kebonsari Candi Sidoarjo village. This study design was observational analytic. The study population was 35 pairs of mothers and infants village temple Kebonsari Sidoarjo and sample 32 pairs of respondents, taken by simple random sampling. The independent variables were exclusively breastfed and fine motoric development of babies as the dependent variable. Instrument data collection using questionnaires and observation sheets DDST then Spearman rank test with significance level α = 0.05. The results showed that a large part (71.9%) of mothers breastfeeding, and the bulk (62.5%) infants have normal fine motoric development. Spearman rank test results obtained value of ρ = 0.023 <α = 0.05, H0 denied, there is a relationship of exclusive breastfeeding with fine motoric development in infants aged 6-12 months Kebonsari Candi Sidoarjo village. The conclusions of this research are mothers who exclusively breastfed their babies and fine motoric development is normal. Nurses are highly recommended providing information about how and benefits of exclusive breastfeeding for the stimulation of the development of fine motoric skills

Abstract

Background: In carrying out their work, farmers in Besuk Subdistrict, Gurah District, do not wear footwear and work in the fields without using gloves. Personal hygiene is still lacking. This can be seen from the habits of farmers who after working do not wash their hands before eating. Such conditions can facilitate the emergence of helminthiasis in farmers. Objective: Personal hygiene of farmers in Besuk Subdistrict, Gurah District, Kediri Regency Method: The type of research used is analytical survey method using cross sectional approach data collection using questionnaires and in-depth interviews. Results: Based on interviews and direct observations made in the village of Besuk, that the Personal Hygiene of the Besuk Village Farmers is not good as many as 58 respondents (96.67%) Conclusions and suggestions: Personal hygiene of Besuk Village farmers is not good. So it is necessary to conduct counseling for farmers to maintain personal hygiene especially after work and before eating by washing their hands and feet.
