Abstract

Each school principal has its own efforts to improve discipline of teachers in their schools, the efforts that have been designed will be implemented to teachers who have problems with discipline. Formulation of the problem in this study is how the principals efforts in improve teacher discipline at SD Negeri 9 Labuhanhaji and what are the obstacles faced by principals in an effort to improve teacher discipline in elementary schools Land 9 Labuhanhaji. This study aims to describe the efforts of principals in improving teacher discipline and the obstacles faced principals in an effort to improve teacher discipline at SD Negeri 9 Labuhanhaji. The approach in this research is qualitative with the type of descriptive research. The subjects of this study consisted of 1 principal and 7 teachers at SD Negeri 9 Labuhanhaji. Data collection techniques are carried out by means of observation and interviews, and analyzed by data reduction, presentation of data and drawing conclusions. The result of this study show that the principals efforts in improving teacher discipline are make rules, direct teachers to implement the rules, give motivation at every opportunity and the provision of sanctions in the form of warnings, advice and warnings to undisciplined teachers. Conclusions from this research is an effort that is applied by the principal to the three forms of discipline have a relatonship, namely making regulations and providing sanctions if non-compliance with regulations, efforts and sanctions are carried out consistently against teacher. The obstacle faced by the principal is not being able to supervise teachers directly if you have an outside interest and the level is not maximized discipline of the teacher, so to minimaze these obstacles the principal ask the treasurer or the picket tacher for help to supervise and the head schools try to enforce regulations, increase cooperation and always create a good relationship with the teacher council.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe the activities of teachers and students and to determine student learning outcomes on multiplication material through a realistic mathematical approach. Qualitative approach is the approach in this research and classroom action research (CAR) is the type of research. 28 students in class III A-SDN 5 Banda Aceh are the research subjects. This research was carried out in three cycles and each cycle went through four stages, namely: planning, implementation, observation and reflection. Observation sheets and test sheets are data collection techniques. Descriptive statistics is an analytical technique in this study. According to the results of the analysis that has been done through the activities of teachers, students, and student learning outcomes are (a). The average result of teacher activity in the first cycle is 3.00, for the second cycle is 3.61 and for the third cycle is 4.53. (b). The average results of student activities for the first cycle is 2.50, for the second cycle is 3.37 and for the third cycle is 4.50. (c). Student learning outcomes for the first cycle obtained an average value of 68 on the percentage of classical completeness is 46%, for the second cycle the average value of 73 on the percentage of classical completeness is 71.42%, and for the third cycle the average value is 86 on the percentage of classical completeness is 85.71%. From the data analysis of each cycle, it can be concluded that the application of a realistic mathematical approach can develop teacher and student activities and can improve student learning outcomes in multiplication material in class III A SDN 5 Banda Aceh.

Abstract

Perusing out loud is an action for educators and understudies to get information, thoughts, and feelings of a writer and voice their writing orally with proper pronunciation and intonation. The ability to read aloud is one of the most important language skills, because it can enrich vocabulary, add information, and provide opportunities for students to listen and imagine. The plan of the issue in this study is "how is the ability to read aloud for second grade students of SD Negeri 11 Banda Aceh?". This study aims to describe the ability to read aloud second grade students of SD Negeri 11 Banda Aceh. The approach used in this research is a subjective methodology and a type of descriptive research. The subjects of this study were all 29 students of class II State Elementary School 11 Banda Aceh. Data collection techniques using observation and tests. The data analysis technique uses data reduction, and data presentation, as well as drawing conclusions and verification. The results of the study showed that the calculation of the average value was 76.55 and was in the sufficient category. The highest score obtained by students was 100 and the lowest score was 33. Judging from the formula, the percentage of students who scored very well (91-100) amounted to 9 people with a percentage (31.03%), and students who got good grades (83-90 ) amounted to 5 people with a percentage (17.24%). Meanwhile, students who got sufficient scores (75-82) were among 3 people with a percentage (10.34%). There were 12 students who got a low score (0-74) with a percentage (41.37%). The finish of this examination is the ability to read aloud second-grade students of SD Negeri 11 Banda Aceh is in the sufficient category. The author suggests teachers to be able to provide special guidance to students who have not been able to read aloud by increasing students' reading fluency and fostering self-confidence in students.

Abstract

This review plans to perceive how the cycle and consequences of creating Understudy Worksheets (LKPD) in light of Higher Request Thinking Abilities (HOTS) materials for study hall development at SD 54 Negeri Banda Aceh. The examination technique utilized is Innovative work (Research and development) with the Plomp advancement model which incorporates: Beginning Examination Stage, Plan Stage, Acknowledgment Stage, Test Stage, Assessment and Correction and Execution Stage. The subjects in this review were all 5th grade understudies at SDN 54 Banda Aceh, adding up to 25 individuals, 13 young men and 12 young ladies. Abstract

The purpose of the study was to describe the teacher's ability to implement the STAD type cooperative learning model on the theme of 7 sub-themes 2 PB 2 in the fourth grade of SD Negeri 62 Banda Aceh. The approach in this study is a qualitative approach using a descriptive type of research. The subjects in this study were 3 fourth-grade teachers. Data collection techniques using observation techniques, and interviews. All data from observations and interviews were processed using the data analysis stages, namely, data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of this study show that the teacher's ability to implement the STAD type cooperative learning model has 7 sub-themes 2 PB 2 in grade IV SD Negeri 62 Banda Aceh which is included in the very capable category, this is indicated by the value range of 85% - 100%. students are actively involved in the learning process both in groups and individually. The conclusion of this study is that teachers at SD Negeri 62 Banda Aceh have been able to apply the STAD type of cooperative learning model according to the steps contained in the learning model.

Abstract

The whole big problem that exists in Indonesia, the most often discussed is the lack of quality education. This condition can occur because of the inefficient teaching and learning process in schools. To be able to study the learning process by students, educators need to understand the basic concepts of learning as stated in Constitution Number 20 of 2003 Article 1 paragraph 1 concerning the national education system. This research uses a quantitative approach with the type of experimental research one group pretest post-test design. The subjects of this study were fourth-grade students of SDN 1 Mata Ie Aceh Besar. The researcher's data collection technique used a test. Based on the results of the information, it can be seen that 1) the learning value of students with the peer tutor method is very influential. This was found by the researchers when giving test questions in the form of pretest and posttest. When the pretest questions were given, it was seen that only a few students had reached the KBM, while some of the others did not understand what FBP was. 2) After applying the peer tutoring method, the student's learning scores increased when they were given post-test questions. 3) when applying the peer tutoring method, students do not hesitate to ask their friends, and those who become tutors use language that is easily understood by their friends and students are able to answer the questions given. Thus, it is concluded that the peer tutoring method is one method that can improve student learning outcomes in the subject of FPB in grade IV SDN 1 Mata Ie Aceh Besar.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the professionalism of teachers through the Principal's Role in School-Based Management (SBM) at SD Negeri 1 Mata Ie Aceh Besar. The approach used in this research is qualitative with descriptive type. This research was conducted at the 1 Mata Ie Aceh Besar State Elementary School located in Aceh Besar, Darul Imarah sub-district, Aceh Besar district. The subjects of this study consisted of the principal and three classroom teachers. Data collection techniques were carried out by observation and interviews. Data processing uses data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. SBM school-based management is management that provides autonomy to improve teacher professionalism and improve the quality of education. The principal's role in improving teacher professionalism includes being a leader such as encouraging a teacher to teach voluntarily, providing guidance to teachers, motivators providing exemplary attitudes to teachers and students, being managerial in planning and implementation in decision making, and administrators have carried out proper planning. designed at the time of decision making. Researchers through observations and interviews with teachers, in implementing it has been going well. the principal is ready to check properly such as directing teachers in teaching, teacher lesson plans before carrying out learning, and directing teachers to use strategies, learning models, and learning media. From the results of the study, it can be said that with the SBM program the professionalism of teachers has increased through the role of the principal well.

Abstract

This study aims to see the significant impact of using the scramble-type cooperative model on students learning achievement in Theme 7 The Beauty of Diversity in my Country, Sub-theme 2, especially in social studies subjects regarding the diversity of traditional houses and traditional clothing in Indonesia. The research method used is a quantitative approach of the Pre-Experimental type with the One Group Pretest-Posttest design. This research was carried out at the 71 Banda Aceh State Elementary School on Jalan Mesjid Al-Qurban, Mibo Village, Banda Raya District, Banda Aceh City. Sampling using saturated sampling technique, the sample used is all students in fourth grade totaling 26 people. The data collection technique used tests in the form of multiple choice pretest and posttest, totaling 20 questions. The data analysis technique used hypothesis testing with t-test statistics at a significant level = 0.05. The results of the t-test hypothesis research obtained tcount of 15.04 tableof 1.71 so that H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted. Thus, it can be concluded that there is a significant impact in the use of the scramble type cooperative model on student learning achievement in Theme 7 The Beauty of Diversity in My Country, Sub-theme 2 in grade IV SDN 71 Banda Aceh.

Abstract

The Influence of media in the learning process really helps teachers in delivering abstract learning materials to be more real. The formulation of the problem in this study is whether there is an effect of diorama media on student learning outcomes on the water cycle material in class V SDN 52 Banda Aceh. This study aims to prove the effect of diorama media on student learning outcomes on the water cycle material in class V SDN 52 Banda Aceh. the approach in this research is a quantitative approach, using the form of One-Group Pretest-Posttest Design, the approach uses a quantitative approach of pretest and post-test types. The sample in this study were all students in class V SDN 52 Banda Aceh with a total of 14 students, namely 7 boys and 7 girls. Data collection was carried out using a test in the form of answer choices with a total of 20 questions. The results of the study with the acquisition of a score from the mean pretest is 46,07 and the mean post-test score is 74,6 which shows the difference in the learning process without treatment with learning that is given treatment. Based on the data obtained using the SPSS Statistic 22 software, the results obtained a significance (2-tailed) of 0,0000,05. From the results obtained, the decision-making is accepted and rejected. So it can be concluded that there is an influence of diorama media on student learning outcomes on the water cycle material in class V SDN 52 Banda Aceh.

Abstract

The reason for the review was to decide the job of the chief in working on the educational capability of educators. The formulation of the issue in this study is the manner by which the job of the chief in working on the pedagogical capability of educators in SD Negeri 1 Jeumpet Aceh Besar Regency is. This study utilizes a subjective methodology with a descriptive kind of approach. The subjects of this review were the head and 3 study hall educators.
