International Journal of Humanities, Law, and Politics is an official journal of the Communication in Research and Publications (CRP) and publishes original research papers that cover the theory, practice, history, or methodology of Humanities, Law, and Politics (HLP). IJHLP will act as a platform to encourage further research in Humanities, Law, and Politics theory and applications. The globalization in the humanities sector has had the impact of changing values and attitudes, development of science and technology, and a better standard of living. The globalization of law has caused the regulations of developing countries regarding investment, trade, services and other economic fields to approach those of developed countries. The globalization in the political field is marked by the inclusion of democratic values in many countries, which is accompanied by the growing political awareness of the people. To deal with the influence of globalization in the fields of humanities, law and politics, research must be carried out to filter out every influence of globalization, whether it is in accordance with customs or not. The mission of the International Journal of Humanities, Law, and Politics (IJHLP) is to enhance the dissemination of knowledge across all disciplines in theory, practice, history, or methodology of Humanities, Law, and Politics. The above discipline is not exhaustive, and papers representing any other social science field will be considered. The IJHLP particularly encourage manuscripts that discuss the latest research findings or contemporary research that can be used directly or indirectly in addressing critical issues and sharing of advanced knowledge and best practices in Humanities, Law, and Politics. The essential but not exclusive, audiences are academicians, graduate students, researchers, policy-makers, regulators, practitioners, and others interested in business, management, economics, and social development studies. For ensuring a wide range of audiences, this journal accepts only the articles in English. The scope of humanities is: Theology, Philosophy, Law, History, Philology, Languages, Literature, Arts, and other relevant matters. The scope of law is: Civil Law, Criminal Law, Constitutional Law, Administrative Law, Human Rights Law, Family Law, Taxation, Corporate law, and other relevant matters. The problem is even though law enforcement management of motor vehicle violations in Mukomuko Regency already exists based on Law Number 22 of 2009 concerning Road Traffic and Transportation, the level of public awareness of traffic in Mukomuko Regency is still not effective. However, there are still signs of an irresponsible person, such as a driver who constantly violates traffic rules. This is the result of the habit of people who are not allowed to ride motorbikes. This study aims to measure public knowledge about traffic problems and identify challenges faced by law enforcement. In order to create a thorough and accurate picture of the problem under investigation, sociological legal research is the type of research used. This is because this type of research is carried out directly at the location or place under study. All parties involved in the problem under study became the sample population for this study which was conducted in Mukomuko Regency. Primary, secondary, and terser sources of information were used. In this research, data collection methods are observation, interviews, and literature review. From this research, it is possible to draw conclusions on a number of fundamental issues. First, depending on traffic laws and regulations there is relatively little public understanding of traffic in Mukomuko Regency. Secondly, based on Article 77, Paragraph 1, of Law Number 22 of 2009 Concerning Road Traffic and Transportation, the challenges that the Police must overcome in order to raise public awareness of traffic. The police must contend with motorists that disobey and break traffic laws.

If there is political behavior on the part of the village community, political socialization, and effective political communication from the candidates to the village head regarding the vision and mission or work program to be implemented, village community political engagement will move smoothly. Application the day before the village head election, political outreach by candidates was typically conducted at a distance and frequently ignored political ethics, such as money politics and terror plots. The majority of candidates for village, heads have a good chance of winning the election since they generally have compact, powerful, and familial networks. Politically powerful individuals typically run for village head positions. Villagers can participate in Pilkades in addition to carrying out activities by becoming campaigners (Jurkam) for one of the village head candidates and disseminating programs that will be achieved, joining active interest groups and supporting one of the village head candidates, getting involved in social programs or village social projects, such as promoting programs that will be achieved and carrying out activities in Pilkades. The findings of study conducted through interviews show how crucial it is to educate and socialise citizens about politics, especially those who must vote. Political activities such as political socialisation and political education can be used in efforts to preserve the political system. The two political communication activities serve as a method for influencing the attitudes and actions of future system recipients and successors. Political socialisation, which aims to influence, alter, and mould attitudes and behaviour based on ideals that are deemed right and beneficial to human life, is frequently linked with political education.

The five pillars of parents, family, community, government, regional government, and the state are all strongly tied to child safety. The five of them are connected to one another as child protection organisers. All actions taken to ensure that children are treated fairly, have their rights upheld, are able to live, develop, and participate in society to the fullest extent possible, and are shielded from harm and discrimination, are collectively referred to as "child protection." The goal of child protection is to protect each child's rights. Child protection works in conjunction with other rights to ensure that kids have the things they need to live, grow, and thrive. However, in actuality, the situation of children in Indonesia is still quite worrying, particularly in regards to child labour, children living on the streets, and young people who have been sexually abused, exploited, or exploited for profit. In addition to being a violation of children's rights, the Child Protection Act also poses a significant threat to their survival and future development. However, the actual status of kids in Indonesia is still quite troubling, especially when it comes to child labour, kids living on the streets, kids who have been sexually abused, kids who have been sexually assaulted, and kids who have been the victims of commercial sexual exploitation. The Child Protection Act not only infringes on children's rights but also seriously jeopardises their survival and future growth.

In Indonesia, elections are a visible example of democracy and a way for the populace to exercise their power over the state and government. Elections based on Pancasila and the Republic of Indonesia's Constitution from 1945. Within the State Unitary Republic of Indonesia (NKRI), elections were held on the principles of direct, general, free, secret, honest, and fair. Involvement in a democratic party (Election) is a sign that the people are exercising their highest lawful state authority, which is reflected in political participation in a democratic nation. In order to develop legislators and leaders who are aspirational, qualified, and accountable for the welfare of the people, general elections are one of the democratic processes that represent the wealth of the populace. The goal of this paper is to identify the ways in which new voters participate politically in elections, as well as the motivating and impeding reasons. This journal paper employs a literature review as its writing strategy, which is supported by pertinent research findings. By splitting their time between studying and participating in political activities, it is believed that inexperienced voters will engage in politics more actively.

General elections for the legislature are significant junctures in the political process because they involve the community in choosing its legislators. The city of Bengkulu held engaging legislative elections between 2014 and 2019, which are worth studying and analysing in the perspective of civic engagement. Both qualitative and quantitative research methodologies were used in this study. The political engagement of the electorate in the legislative elections in Bengkulu City saw numerous dynamics and changes between 2014 and 2019. Political campaigns run by legislative candidates can also have an impact on levels of political involvement. If the campaign fails to inspire and influence the electorate to vote in the 2019 election, political engagement may decline. Analysing political involvement is crucial for evaluating Bengkulu City's level of democracy and political representation. The degree of public confidence in the political process and candidates for public office is demonstrated by the amount of political involvement. The public's apathy and discontent with the political system may also be raised by poor political involvement.

This research reviews the role of soméah culture in shaping the brand personality of the Sundanese people. Someméah reflects values such as friendliness, politeness, and openness which are reflected in daily communication behavior. The results showed that soméah culture influenced communication behavior, including the use of words such as "punten" and "mango." Apart from that, soméah culture also influences other aspects, such as a friendly physical appearance and a high sense of humor. Soméah culture plays an important role in building positive cultural relations, especially in interactions with non-Sundanese communities. This research also illustrates how soméah culture can be maintained and inherited and identifies the implications of personal branding and cultural transactions in preserving local culture.

This research discusses political participation among young people as the key to building and improving the political system in Indonesia. Young people play an important role as the future generation of voters who have great potential in determining political direction and policies. In this context, political awareness and political education are key factors in forming a young generation who are active and responsible in the political process. This research also discusses challenges such as apathy towards politics and efforts that can be made to overcome this problem. Through active participation, comprehensive political education, and involvement in political dialogue, the younger generation has great potential to become agents of positive change in building a strong and clean democracy in Indonesia.

This study discusses the judge's consideration in deciding the criminal case of murder based on infidelity based on the judge's consideration of Article 338 of the Criminal Code Decision Number 88/Pid.B/2022/PN. The research uses normative juridical methods by examining primary and secondary legal materials. The results showed that the judge's consideration included both juridical and non-juridical aspects that influenced the final decision. The defendant is considered accountable for his actions, taking into account various factors such as the confession of guilt, the defendant's attitude in the trial, and previous legal experience. In addition, the defendant's actions and their impact on victims and society are also important factors in the judge's deliberations.
