Abstract

The Suroan tradition itself gave birth to Pancasila values which have had a positive impact on the community enviroment, especially in the educational enviroment. The implementation of the Suroan tradition has different methodes in each region, but has the same goal, namely to ask for blessing and protection from God Almighty.

Abstract

Persekusi terhadap komunitas muslim di Sri Lanka telah menjadi isu yang signifikan dalam beberapa tahun terakhir, pasca serangkaian insiden kekerasan yang terjadi diantara komunitas hindu dan islam yang memicu ketegangan sosial di negara tersebut. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi peran media dalam melakukan persekusi terselubung yang mengarah pada komunitas muslim di Sri Lanka. Melalui pendekatan kualitatif penelitian ini berupaya menganalisis konten media digital untuk mengidentifikasi narasi yang digunakan untuk menggambarkan komunitas muslim. Kami menemukan bahwasannya media seringkali menyajikan citra yang relatif negatif tentang komunitas muslim, dengan menonjolkan aspek-aspek ekstrimisme dan mengabaikan kontribusi positif mereka di masyarakat. Narasi yang dipakai tidak hanya membentuk persepsi publik tetapi juga mempengaruhi kebijakan pemerintah yang seringkali mendiskriminasi komunitas muslim. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kajian pustaka dengan menggunakan metode penelitian sejarah. Penelitian ini menyoroti peran media serta strategi media yang lebih inklusif dan bertanggungjawab dalam membangun pemahaman tentang identitas komunitas muslim di Sri Lanka. Kata Kunci : Media, Persekusi, Muslim, Sri Lanka.

Abstract

This research discusses the Era of Disintegration in the history of Islamic civilization, marked by the emergence of small dynasties after the collapse of the great caliphate. This period was an important phase that changed the political, social, and economic dynamics in the Islamic world. The method used is library research, using widely available literature sources, such as books, journal articles, research reports, and other electronic documents from libraries or online databases. Data obtained from relevant journal sources on the heritage of Islamic civilization during the Disintegration period. Data from these sources will be critically analyzed to investigate the political and social transformations that occurred during the disintegration period. The discussion on the disintegration period reflects the great challenges faced by Islamic civilization in maintaining its identity and power amidst rapid and complex changes.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of ulama (Islamic scholars) in Indonesian democracy, specifically in the context of the Pemilu Presiden 2024 , by examining the historical dynamics of ulama involvement in politics from the Old Order to the Reformation era. The research method used is a literature study with a qualitative approach, employing phenomenology theory and Foucault's historical genealogy. The results show that the role of ulama in Indonesian politics is influenced by political changes, social movements, and religious principles. In the Pemilu Presiden 2024, ulama were involved in various forms of support, including public support and declarations, mass mobilization, influencing public opinion, bestowing titles and honors, and practical political roles. However, this involvement also poses challenges, such as polarization and the potential for religious misuse. Ulama are required to maintain neutrality and use social media wisely. Nevertheless, the role of ulama in Indonesian democracy has positive impacts, such as increasing political awareness and instilling moral values. Yet, negative impacts such as polarization and potential religious manipulation must be heeded. History notes that the ulama's role is always dynamic, influenced by political changes and religious principles.

Abstract

The Quran is God's holy book that was revealed to Muhammad as the last prophet and apostle. This paper with the title ‘History of the Writing of the Quran; Bookkeeping and Standardization’ seeks to present scientific work that contributes to the repertoire of Quran Science. This paper also aims to contribute to presenting the scientific truth of the authenticity of the Quran seen from a historical perspective. Academic work that produces this scientific work uses the Library Study method with a qualitative approach. The result of this paper is the history of the bookkeeping and standardization of the Qur'an has proven that the Qur'an is very well preserved from the time of its revelation to the time of its printing. Likewise, the content in the Quran itself can detail the story of the past which is very far from the time of the Prophet Muhammad, but the fact of the truth of the story is proven long after the time of the Prophet Muhammad. The continuity of historical events that have proven that Allah is the one who keeps the Qur'an.
