Abstract

The Official Seminar Kit Package is one of the SMEs supporting the economy in Indonesia which is engaged in the business of producing bags, documents, and books as a seminar facility. Initial observations in the production area found an irregular production room because all the equipment used for work was on the workbench This causes workers to find it difficult when looking for one of the equipment to be used because it is not fixed in its placement, sometimes the equipment is lost because it falls from the work table so workers need time to find the equipment. Another incident is that there are items that are not used but are still in the workspace and mixed with equipment that is being used so that this adds to the chaos of the workspace. The remaining production materials are also mixed with raw materials that are still used, resulting in workers having to first sort out the raw materials to be used. After the job is done, workers just collect all the equipment and put it in one tool case without sorting it out. Evaluation of the implementation of 5 S (Seiri, Seiton, Seiso, Seiketsu and Shitsuke) needs to be done to make improvements to the layout of the work area by auditing each work station. The score results from the implementation of 5S are the basis for setting the layout in the production area. The purpose of applying the 5S method is to organize and maintain the work area to create a clean, neat and orderly work atmosphere, so as to increase work productivity.. The results obtained from the implementation of 5S are when the initial conditions are still classified as poor criteria with an application value of 27% at cutting work stations, checking and providing accessories work stations, and packaging work stations, and the application value is 29% at work stations. screen printing and sewing workstations. After improving the layout of the work area, an increase in the results of applying 5S was obtained by 76% at the cutting work station and screen printing work station, 78% at the sewing work station, and the application value of 80% at the checking work station and providing accessories as well. packaging work station. Based on the results of this study, it can be concluded that the improvement of the work area using the 5S method has been able to increase the percentage of success in implementing 5R in the work area

Abstract

The digital transformation of today's technology has brought many changes to the world of communication. Information technology is not only a tool to communicate, but also a means to make friends, share photos and even as a means of promotion for an online store business. Information technology is also a tool that has been available as a means to increase sales targets and can also be a means to find out the range of all promotional activities carried out. With this technology strategy, it will bring change to society and can encourage various efforts to change, because people are still unfamiliar with information technology and many school children and teenagers still do not understand the application of information technology and also do not understand the application of English. Abstract

A Covid- 19 pandemic that cause economic disruption in different ways requires financial skills. The skill can be obtained through education in schools. Financial literacy education is a crucial thing to be inserted in the learning program at school. Based on observations, the implementation of financial literacy learning at SD Focus Independent School Surakarta is still not well structured. The concept of finance is indirectly taught in thematic learning. The pandemic has made students more intensive in using digital technology. The use of E-modules is an alternative in systematically delivering financial concepts. The method in this research is Classroom Action Research (CAR) with four stages: planning, action, observation and reflection. The study was undertaken by all Primary 6 Focus Independent School students in 2021/2022 academic year. The total number of students who participated in the study were 40 students, consisting of 22 female students and 18 male students. The instruments (data collection tools) used are questions and observation sheets. Based on the results of the study, it was revealed that there was an increase in student evaluation results related to understanding the concept of financial literacy. In the first cycle, students have an average of 69.75 while in the second cycle has an average of 80.75. Therefore, the use of E-modules can improve the concept of financial literacy for Primary VI students at Focus Independent School Surakarta in 2021/2022.

Abstract

Basin type solar water distillation has a problem, namely low efficiency. One of the factors causing the low efficiency of basin type solar water distillation is the long evaporation process. The long evaporation process is caused by the large mass of water in the distillation bath. Enlarging the absorber area with materials with capillary properties, such as cloth, is one way to increase efficiency. Enlarging the absorber area can be done by adding a cloth cylinder float. This study aims to increase the efficiency of tub-type solar energy water distillation using a cylindrical cloth float. The study was conducted indoors using a distillation model with an area of ​​0.1 m2. As a solar energy simulator, heating lamps are used. The variables that varied in this study were the mass of water in the tub of 0.6 kg, 1 kg and 1.5 kg, and the number of cloth floats was 3, 6 and 12. Data were collected every 10 seconds for 2 hours using sensors and microcontrollers for each variation. The variables measured were absorber temperature, TA (°C), cover glass temperature, TK (°C) and the volume of water produced, m (litres). The results showed that the variation of the number of floats as many as 12 pieces with a mass of water in the tub as much as 0.6 kg produced the most distilled water, namely 99 ml for 2 hours or 0.47 litres/(hour.m2) with an efficiency of 42%

Abstract

Based on the results of observations made on students of SMA Negeri 1 Torgamba, it was obtained that students experienced a number of obstacles in participating in online learning. These obstacles include the internet network, difficulty to understanding the material being taught, discomfort in the learning environment. These difficulties trigger the emergence of indications of students experiencing fatigue both physically and psychologically. Complaints such as feeling tired, eye pain, boredom, confusion, sleepy, headache. The study was conducted to measure the level of fatigue and mental load of class XII students. Fatigue level was measured by the Swedish Occupational Fatigue Inventory (SOFI) method and mental load was measured by the National Aeronautics Administration Task Load Index (NASA TLX). Based on the results of data processing with SOFI, it is known that the highest dimension of student fatigue during online learning is lack of energy with a score of 5.013 for the science class and 4,495 for the social studies class. The students mental workload for each class has the largest proportion in the very high category, namely 75% for the science class and 52% for the social science class. Based on the Mann Whitney test, it is known that there is a difference between the level of mental load and fatigue of students in science and social studies class

Abstract

The public's need for design services is getting higher, it opens up opportunities for freelancers to offer the design services. Marketplace is a solution to connect the service between users and freelancers. Therefore, the design of the service marketplace needs to be designed smart enough to be able to provide appropriate recommendations and accordance with the user needs. This study builds a web-based design service marketplace that implements a recommendation system with a content-based filtering method with a cosine similarity algorithm that is applied to two objects, namely tags defined by freelancers and users. The results of the study indicate that the design service marketplace system has provided recommendation results in the form of a list of freelancers according to user tags.

Abstract

This paper describes research that aims to classify student academic achievement based on the results of the Academic Potential Test (APT), using data containing APT scores and Grade Point Average (GPA) in semester 1 to semester 4. To get the best accuracy, some experiments were carried out by varying the fold, kernel, and multiclass. The folds used in the experiment are 5, 7, and 9 folds. The kernel used is a linear kernel, Gaussian Radial Basic Function (RBF), and polynomial. Meanwhile, the multiclass used in this experiment is one against one and one against all. The highest accuracy of 80% was obtained in the GPA classification in semester 4 using multiclass one against one and one against all, RBF kernel, and 9-fold cross validation

Abstract

Script is a visual symbol that is usually printed on paper, stone, wood, cloth and others. One example of a script is the Javanese Nglegena script. Nglegena Javanese script can be found in various forms, one of which is in the form of images. Image is a digital representation of an object. By using the image of the character, it is done as an effort to fight against the character. Identification can be done digitally by using one of the classifications, namely artificial-backpropagation network. Backpropagation neural network is a good classification that can update its weight value. This research uses image data of Javanese Nglegena script with a total data of 635 images. Each image is preprocessed in the form of image resizing and thinning. Then the feature extraction used is in the form of 7 moment invariant values, the value of image length and image width so that the number of inputs for each data is 9 features. Then the 9 feature values ​​become input for classifying the backpropagation-artificial network. The best results for testing 16 types of Javanese Nglegena script get a training accuracy of 92.1% and a test accuracy of 76.1%. Where the best architecture uses a hidden 2-layer network with 9 input neurons, 55 neurons in layer 1, 65 neurons in layer 2 and 4 layers, logsig activation function and the trainlm training method.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to determine the effect of audit quality, and audit committee the audit delay. Independent variables used in this research is audit quality and committee audit. While the dependent variable for this research is the audit delay. The selectiom of the sample in this research is using the purposive sampling method. The selected sample in this research are 10 food and beverage companies oh the IDX the period of 2016 – 2019. The results showed that audit quality has a significant positive effect on audit delay, audit committee has a significant positive effect on audit delay.

Abstract

One of the studies of Artificial Intelligence is fuzzy logic, various theories in the development of fuzzy logic show that basically fuzzy logic can be used to model various systems. Fuzzy logic is considered capable of mapping an input and output without ignoring the existing factors. Hang Nadim Airport Batam is an airport located on the island of Batam, Riau Islands Province. This airport connects Batam City with airports throughout Indonesia. Some of the airlines operating at Batam's Hang Nadim Airport include Garuda Indonesia Air, Citilink Air, Lion Air, Sriwijaya Air, and so on. All of them are managed by various airline companies which are operators under the control of the Task Implementation Unit (UPT) of Batam's Hang Nadim Airport. Based on the results of the analysis and discussion conducted on 50 respondents, with the Likert scale method the respondents stated that they were quite satisfied. This means that Hang Nadim Airport Batam is quite successful in providing the best or quite satisfactory service to passengers, both from the Reliability Dimension, Responsiveness Dimension, Assurance Dimension, Empathy Dimension and Tangible Dimension. (Tangible) overall airplane passengers feel quite satisfied, with an average percentage of 71% (35.5 out of 50 respondents). While the results are not much different, it can also be seen in the Fuzzy Logic test of the Mamdani method seen from the results of the output value for passenger satisfaction of 150 (with a range of 50-250) which means that the level of passenger satisfaction is quite satisfied with the services provided by Hang Nadim Airport, Batam City
