Abstract

This research aims to examine the challenges and opportunities faced by philosophy of science in the era of Big Data and Artificial Intelligence (AI). This era is characterized by rapid developments in the collection, storage and analysis of large and complex data, as well as advances in artificial intelligence technology that allows machines to learn and make decisions automatically. This research uses a qualitative approach with a literature study method. The main challenge faced by the philosophy of science is to overcome the complexity and infinite dimensions of the data generated. Big Data provides the ability to analyze patterns and trends that were previously difficult to detect, but on the other hand it also presents challenges in understanding the position of philosophy towards this infinite quantity and diversity of data. Philosophy of science needs to consider concepts such as truth, reliability and validity in the context of probabilistic and uncertain data. In addition, artificial intelligence also raises profound philosophical questions. Philosophy of science needs to address questions of ethics and responsibility in the use of artificial intelligence. However, the era of Big Data and AI also provides opportunities for philosophy of science. Philosophy of science can develop new methodologies to understand complex phenomena in various disciplines. It can leverage artificial intelligence to efficiently analyze data and gain deep insights. In addition, philosophy of science can play an important role in developing ethical frameworks for the use of Big Data and AI. In conclusion, the era of Big Data and Artificial Intelligence poses significant challenges and opportunities for philosophy of science in developing deep understanding and producing necessary ethical guidance

Abstract

Humans are perfect creatures created by Allah SWT. This perfection is in the form of reason and the carrying capacity of the other senses. With this perfection, it is human beings who are tasked with being caliphs on this earth. As caliphs, humans strive to create a civilization of life that continues to develop continuously. To support this civilization, humans need science and knowledge. Science and knowledge emerge with the existence of the human mind, which has been gifted by Allah SWT. This study employs a library-based approach. The results of the research analysis were taken from primary data as the main source, namely a book entitled "Philosophy of Islamic Education Towards Character Building in Facing Global Currents," written by Prof. Dr. H. Maragustam, M.A., and supported by secondary data. The purpose of this research is to find out and understand the nature of knowledge in Islam and what its implications are. The essence of knowledge in Islam is the result of thoughts and the search for truth by humans based on the guidelines of Muslims, namely the Qur'an and the Hadith. Knowledge is something that is believed and can be accepted by reason based on the reality of existence. Knowledge is the result of knowing an object. Science is something that is certain, systematic, scientific, and includes truth based on facts. The implications of science in life are the empowerment of human life, the advancement of science and technology, the development of civilization, spiritual growth and closeness to Allah SWT, as well as maintaining the environment and the earth.

Abstract

The Islamic State or al-Islamiyah khilafah is a system of government based on Islamic sharia. In such a system, Islamic law is the primary foundation for regulating all matters, such as laws, state finances, relations with peoples and relations with other countries, as described in the fiqh siyasah. (hukum perpolitikan). This study wants to examine the connection of the khilafah system in a State, and whether such a system can be enforced in the State of Indonesia whose notes have been guided by the Pancasila and UUD 1945. This research is categorized as qualitative research, meaning exposure and description of problems according to research factors. A library study is a method of research that emphasizes a library as an object of study. The study finds that Islam does not provide clear and detailed rules on how the system of government of a country is formed, be it a republic, a caliphate, a priest, a monarch, an authoritarian, or a democracy. Islam emphasizes that a system can produce and bring a country into an atmosphere of justice, prosperity, and justice, free from the tyranny of the majority against the minority.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to explain the importance of religious education to anticipate the challenges of communication technology and the dangers of terrorism through information on social media for teachers, students and the community. The method used is online research methods (ORM) and social network analysis (social media). The conclusion and implication is that information technology cannot be prevented and its benefits are in the midst of the needs of teachers, students and society, because the time has come. Religious education is very important to give to students from an early age, but it must be monitored so that they don't choose the wrong teacher or choose the wrong preaching link. This also results in people being out of control in receiving knowledge of the Islamic religion from certain scholars without learning directly from other scholars who are based on the Prophet Muhammad SAW, thus triggering friction between lack of brotherhood in society due to differences in khilafiyah. In the 21st century, religious education can easily be seen in the development of information technology which is experiencing very rapid progress in various corners of the world in general, especially in Indonesia. This also includes Islamic boarding school education which has become a popular educational institution in Indonesia since the beginning of the arrival of Islam in Indonesia in the 17th century. This has implications for teachers, students and society in understanding Islam.
