Abstract

Industry is the root of the economy in a country. The study of job satisfaction, organizational commitment, and work discipline is critical to understanding their impact on individual well-being and workplace productivity. Job satisfaction refers to the level of happiness felt by employees towards their work, organizational commitment involves full dedication to the organization, and work discipline includes focus, regularity, and motivation in performing tasks. Understanding these factors can help organizations support employees in achieving a healthy work-life balance and improving work performance. The approach used in this research is a quantitative approach. The data collection technique used in this study is to use a Likert scale model. Based on this research, it is found that job satisfaction and organizational commitment have a significant correlation with work discipline in employees at Banshu Electric Indonesia. Overall, the results of this study can provide a prediction of employee discipline at Banshu Electric Indonesia which is quite large at 63.9%, while the remaining 36.1% is influenced by other factors not examined. For this reason, further research needs to be carried out to see other variables that are thought to have an effect in addition to the variables studied, such as exemplary leadership in the company, the size of compensation, threats, and definite rules from the company.

Abstract

The phenomenon of beauty privilege where those who have beautiful faces tend to get special privileges compared to people who have ordinary faces or are even considered ugly. Beauty privilege usually provides convenience in various areas of life, such as friendship, work, and people's trust. The development of beauty privilege in society causes inequality, and so many people are affected by this phenomenon. People look more at the physical, especially an attractive physical form. Those with a beautiful physique are considered more positive, but less attractive people will be labelled worse. This study aims to determine the perception of beauty privilege in emerging adulthood. The respondents in this study amounted to 261 respondents. Data collection using a beauty privilege perception questionnaire consisting of 14 items with a validity value of 0.345-0.704 and a reliability value of 0.859. The sampling technique used is non-probability sampling with a purposive sampling type. The results of this study showed that 51.87% of respondents had a negative perception of beauty privilege, meaning that individuals think that beauty privilege is not the main thing for achieving something; individuals believe more in their abilities and inner beauty. However, the other 48.3% had a positive perception of beauty privilege, meaning that they admit that it exists around them.

Abstract

Indonesia has the most significant number of Muslim citizens worldwide. However, the data is based on the individual’s identity, which isn’t adequate to show their religiosity. This research aimed to describe the religiosity score among Muslims in Indonesia, and we use The Centrality of Religiosity Scale (CRS) by Huber & Huber (2012), which has been translated into Indonesian by the researcher through an adaptation process. We find that 100 respondents have high religiosity scores, 44 have average, and 90 have low religiosity scores. There are differences in sum between respondents with high and low religiosity scores. This can explain several attitudes and behaviors among our respondents, such as views on marriage, premarital sexual behavior, political views, and in-group and out-group attitudes. Religious respondents will be more likely to (1) have specific requirements when choosing their spouse, (2) have a lower attitude and are less likely to engage in premarital sexual behavior, (3) prefer Muslim candidates, and (4) have a strong in-group attitude.

Abstract

Age maturity begins when individuals prepare for the wedding and become parents. Unfortunately , the existing fatherless phenomenon influences the individual, especially in the belief that they are to parenting. So many choose for no own child or tend to consider becoming a parent as things that make it difficult. Research This aims to know the parenting sense of competence (PSOC) picture in early adulthood that has not been married. Research about PSOC has been done, especially in individuals already married, but research on individuals unmarried in early adulthood is still tiny. Research is done using a descriptive analysis method. Data was collected through a PSOC questionnaire with 17 statement items. The respondents are individuals unmarried in early adulthood, aged 21-24 years old, who have not married. Research results show an average value of 62.0. with the average value known, as many as 92 out of 162 respondents have a PSOC that is classified as low. It means most respondents still do not believe they can care for later. For that matter, this needs to be improved so as not to impact a parent's early adulthood life moments negatively.
