Abstract

This study discusses the green entrepreneurship model developed through Pertamina'S CSR program in Kampung Papring, Banyuwangi, emphasizing the role of biogas innovation and the use of bamboo as the foundation of the local economy. The Jemparing Wangi Program is designed through a comprehensive social mapping process, involving FGDs, village potential surveys, and identification of basic community needs. The mapping results were used to build relevant interventions, including the establishment of bamboo houses as training centers, production, environmental education, and collaboration spaces for residents. Rumah Bambu plays an important role in creating a green business ecosystem, especially through the development of bamboo handicraft products such as woven, bags, besek, lanterns, and decorative products that have economic value. Energy innovation through the use of biogas from livestock waste is a key element in the circular economy practices developed at Papring. Biogas is used for household needs and supports the production process, thus helping to reduce the use of conventional fuels and reduce environmental pollution. In addition, this CSR program strengthens women and youth-based MSME groups through entrepreneurship training, product quality improvement, and marketing access through CSR e-catalogs and local retail networks. Multi-stakeholder collaboration including the community, village government, media, and Pertamina encourages the birth of an adaptive, creative, and independent social environment. Overall, research shows that the integration of environmental innovation, strengthening community institutions, and structured CSR support can drive socio-economic transformation of rural communities. This model of green entrepreneurship deserves to be replicated in other areas that have the potential for biomass and local crafts, as a real contribution to sustainable development.

Abstract

The rapid development of digital technology presents both opportunities and challenges for micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs), particularly in aligning human resource readiness with the increasing demands of digitalization. This study examines the current condition of human capital, digital technology utilization, and work motivation in Rollin’ MSME, Malang. Data were collected through surveys, interviews, and financial records covering monthly sales performance. Findings indicate that Rollin’ MSME faces significant human resource limitations, especially in digital literacy and participation in skill development, despite strong intrinsic motivation among some employees. Technology utilization is relatively high, with MSMEs adopting online sales platforms and basic digital administration; however, outcomes remain suboptimal due to inconsistent implementation. Financial analysis shows stable but moderate performance, with product sales dominated by cheese cake slices and potato donuts. Overall, the study highlights the need for strengthening HR capabilities and optimizing digital practices to enhance business performance.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze and compare the financial performance of banking institutions and non-bank financial institutions in Indonesia through a case study of PT Bank Central Asia Tbk (BCA) and PT Mandala Multifinance Tbk. The research employs a descriptive comparative approach using financial statement data from 2022 to 2024. The analysis focuses on financial position statements, income statements, and key financial ratios that reflect profitability, operational efficiency, asset quality, and capital structure. The results show that BCA has significantly larger assets and more stable profitability compared to Mandala Multifinance due to its banking intermediation function and access to public deposits. Meanwhile, Mandala Multifinance demonstrates relatively higher asset turnover and return on assets due to its focus on consumer financing activities. In terms of operational efficiency, BCA shows stronger performance with a lower operating expense ratio, whereas Mandala Multifinance has higher operational costs due to the nature of consumer financing operations. The findings indicate that although both institutions operate in the financial industry, differences in business models and funding sources result in distinct financial performance characteristics.

Abstract

The financial services industry consists of various institutions with different operational models, including banking institutions and non-bank financial institutions such as insurance companies. This study aims to analyze and compare the financial performance of PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (BRI) and PT Asuransi Dayin Mitra Tbk (ASDM) using financial statement analysis for the 2023–2024 period. The research applies a descriptive comparative method using financial position statements, income statements, and financial ratio analysis. The results indicate that BRI demonstrates strong financial stability supported by a large asset base, strong capital adequacy, and stable profitability derived from interest-based intermediation activities. Meanwhile, ASDM shows significant profit growth driven by underwriting efficiency and investment returns. The analysis also reveals structural differences between banks and insurance companies in asset allocation, revenue sources, leverage structure, and risk exposure. Digital transformation also plays a critical role in improving operational efficiency and expanding financial service ecosystems. Overall, both institutions exhibit strong financial resilience, although their financial strategies and risk management approaches differ according to their respective business models
